Chez Tonton

We've had family meals several times now at Chez Tonton and it never disappoints. Food and service are both excellent and it's an authentically French ambience. A lovely evening out!

Above average food. Good range and choice on menu. Good choice of wines with a worthy house wine. Food served fresh and hot with just enough waiting time as expected when being cooked to order. Lovely staff.Decor perhaps could do with a little updating, but this has its own charm and does not distract from what this little gem of a restaurant has to offer. Looking forward to another visit.

A favourite place to meet and dine with friends. In many years, never a bad meal.

This restaurant is so lovely because it is authentically French as it is owned by a Frenchman. The staff are great and the food really good. It isn't too pricey and we always have a nice evening there.

Great bistro. Informal atmosphere but great food. Fondue night, frog legs, escargot and duck leg confit. Potatoes dauphinois and veg. Simple and with great effect

Friendly, local, busy restaurant, excellent food, what's not to like? Eric and Claudine have been hosting here for more than 30 years and clearly know exactly how to please.

We were a family group of 7 celebrating a birthday, and we all enjoyed the food, the wine and the ambience very much. It was not our first visit to Chez TonTon but definitely one of our best. We will go again just to enjoy the menu which is varied and interesting and the French atmosphere created by Eric and his team.
