Great food and enjoyable early mother's day meal. Steak and chicken delicious as was the fish stew. Praline crepes. Yum. Kept teenagers and olders happy!
Excellent customer service first of all. Value for money and very good quality of food. Service was very fast and perfect to continue for and afternoon stroll in the beautiful neighbourhood of Hampstead. Definitely recommend and It deserve a similar review on trip advisor. Well done guys!
We’ve received a warm welcome and throughout our stay the staff was attentive and professional. Our lamb was cooked really well and the bottle of complementary wine just perfect. Thank you everyone at Hampstead Cote:)
We are at crest brasswrie last night in Hampstead. Great food we had the chicken potatoes and green beans of the set menu. It was delicious and didn’t disappoint. The restaurant was nearly full and service was efficient and we didn’t have to wait long for food.
Excellent service and good food great value Nice atmosphere would go again .
Very good attentive service and enjoyable food. Given that it was busy - impressive.
helpful thoughtful service unhurried with dishes tasty exactly as described
We always feel very welcome, friendly service so we can relax over a delicious meal. Thank you.
Head waitress was very good , young men not so good , we were sat by the bar area and it took them nearly 15 min to make out cocktail and the head waitress still had to alter it by putting the lemon slice in the glass , having said that our meal was as usual very good thank you
A lovely lunch for three with the special offer of blood orange martinis ! Lovely! We had the Risotto Vert and Sea Bass and Fish Parmentier - all beautifully presented and delicious. This was followed by chocolate mousse and creme caramel. The waitress was very attentive, but it was very busy so the service was rather slow, especially fir paying the bill! However, we were not in a hurry and we really enjoyed the food. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.
The food was good, except poached eggs were very overdone but it didnt seem worth complaining about as the rest was nice . However, paying our bill took 45 minutes and three members of staff. I had to leave my table twice to approach the till and sort various errors on the bill. Staff on the whole were courteous, if rather in attentive. I will give Cote another chance as Ive not had a problem before but the wait to pay really was ridiculous and tainted the meal.
great easy going place to meet with nice food and good service
We had a very bad experience on 31 March. We had booked a table for 5 people at 7.30 but had to wait 20 to be seated. We waited 45 minutes for our main meal to arrive. And 40 minutes for our empty plates to be removed from the table and to order deserts. The whole experience was frustrating and spoiled Mother’s Day for all of us.
Delicious, good value food served by spectacularly wonderful staff. A great place to go!
The crab bisque was not edible and I had to send it back. The service was shambles until the very nice manager intervened. A Uber car was arranged at no cost to us.
Excellent communication pre dinner to arrange logistics of a party of 17. Excellent waitress, polite, quick, not pushy. She managed single-handedly a table of 17 with impressive efficiency. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The Cote experience is always reliably excellent. Good food and good service in comfortable surroundings as expected. This time we had the bonus of free Blood Orange Martinis - which were delicious.
Friendly, kind and delicious food. Given it was mother’s day madness the team looked after us and ensured we had a great brunch. Thank you very much.
Excellent food. Excellent service Excellent atmosphere The managers were amazing. Friendly, efficient and made the evening very enjoyable
Lovely as always. Faultless service. Excellent food. All Côte restaurants are lovely but Hampstead is my favourite branch. Fab Mother’s Day brunch wonderful menu . 6 stars !!!
As always very good food and service. We brought a friend who had never visited a Côte and he was very impressed.
Vistied on Valentine Day . This is a great restaurant, food delicious and reasonably priced, house white wine very good too! Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommend!
We had the Breton fish stew which was excellent. The desserts too were excellent, no one can complain about your creme caramel, silky smooth. My only comment on improvement is that we were seated and waited quite a bit before we got any service. Our table was at 2.30, so not the busiest time, I had to wave my hands to get attention. At least if we had something to drink it wouldn’t be too bad. Pity really. I love Cote Brasserie and happy to provide feedback Thank you
Excellent food and good value with pleasant helpful and accomodating staff
A pleasure. Lovely atmosphere and despite minor "hic ups" delightful staff. Recommend the steak tartare. My favourite of the Cote Brasserie s I have visited
We had a lovely meal at Cote Hampstead for my parents' wedding anniversary. The card and flowers from the team were such a nice touch and completely unexpected. The complimentary Kir Royales went down a treat too! Many thanks to the team for a wonderful evening.
Fantastic menu, very delicious food. Courgette fritters fabulous, great choice of main courses, also lots of lovely vegetarian options! Service good, and affordable prices!
We chose from the mother's day menu We did not want the kir royal (not drinking alcohol during lent). This caused some confusion as to what would offered instead . We had a lemonade and a diet coke. I expected something better? Sparkling elderflower and something? Obviously not many non alcohol drinkers were having lunch. Starters ok to good. Poultry roti good. But the spinach and mushroom crepes were not. (I wanted something non meat or fish). The amount of cheese sauce in the dish could be reduced to one third. There was so much sauce that the crepes were slimy soaked lumps . It tasted ok but was not pleasant to eat.
Overall very efficient reliable and consistent ( as always) despite being 100% full. Good service. This is why we keep returning to Cote despite the many independent restaurants in Hampstead most of whom fall short in either service , value or food and cooking quality. It’s all the little details done that little bit better every time that sets cote apart.
Consistently good food. Also, the cost was reasonable when using the pre 7pm menu. Good service. When we arrived, it was quiet but it became fairly noisy towards the end of the meal.....to be expected on Friday evening!
Had the most wonderful luncheon experience. Delicious food , Lovely attentive staff. Old School and a Delight!! My guest and I enjoyed each other without having to cook at home. No dishes to wash either.
I have been to Cote in Hampstead & Camden Town. Both have been excellent. The food, staff are very professional and have that friendly thing about hanging at the table which I hate in some places. Thank you
Food was really excellent as usual. The reason I didn’t give top marks is because I felt there weren’t enough staff so the service was poor. We waited for 20 minutes without being offered a drink. It also took ages to catch anyone’s attention to ask for the bill. Pity - but will still return.
Lovely dinner. Excellent service. I love the special loyalty offers. I’m never disappointed at Cote. It Wows me every time. Compliments to all the Hampstead stafff Zoe x
I have been going regularly to Cote Hampstead for the past 5+ years and every time the service is great and the food tasty and reliable quality - nothing to fault.
Great food (especially March specials) , friendly staff. Highly recommended for birthday celebrations ;) It was a really nice experience, we will definitely come back, soon :)
Service was a little slow, and we had to ask for things twice. The waitress brought us a bottle of water and forgot to bring the glasses, we had to ask her twice for them! Same thing with the ketchup. It wasn't even busy in there. Initially when we got there the hostess who took us to our table was polite, tentative and kept asking if we needed anything else. Overall food was nice, but a shame that they ran out of the herb chicken as really wanted to try that.
Always a good place to relax in without too much fuss!
We had an excellent meal, service was friendly. Cote was on form! Just wish the restaurant was a bit quieter.
Brilliant walk over The Heath in the bright sun. Crunchy snow on the ground. Convenient place to eat in the heart of Hampstead. Food good enough. Reasonable price. Friendly staff. Tables very close together. Very noisy. Slow service.
I had the most excellent service today at Cote Hampstead. From the booking to the final greetings the staff had been so very helpful and courteous - attentive, professional, and hardworking (food runners included!). They made sure the table was cleared up after every course and all the diners were served promptly at the same time. In particular, they were all smiling and approaching me with warm friendliness which I found genuine. High quality professionalism indeed, not so easy to find these days. All of my guests were positively impressed and the whole lunch had been a success and a memorable experience. I could have not made a better choice.
Good food good staff lovely atmosphere highly recommend. Excellent perfect
Good food great staff very quiet due to current problems with coronovirus but staff still friendly and cheerful
The food is always excellent at Cote. We were given a complimentary aperitif each and then enjoyed a three-course meal with wine, followed by coffee. My only "complaint" would be the mediocre Merlot - but my Mum chose it, so maybe it's just not the wine for me. The service is particularly good, with staff who are both good at and enjoy their jobs. Top marks as usual!
Every dinner / lunch / breakfast at Cote is amazing. We had dinner last night then breakfast this morning. The manager here is so lovely it’s always a pleasure to see her. I have to comment on the amazing service from Andre this morning he was superb !!!! Charming, handsome, attentive. He really made the birthday celebration very special. Thank you so very much for another amazing time at Cote in Hampstead. Please pass on my compliments to Andre. He is an asset to Cote in Hampstead. ! Zoe Gregory
Waiter had less experience for sure. Chautebriand was just warm and not very spiced. Breast duck was amazing as always.
Excellent service but the chicken was a bit dry but our lovely waitress more than made up for it.
We had a fab time and celebrated my birthday in style. Staff were lovely, as always.
Having tried the Highgate Brasserie, we tried the Hampstead Brasserie as parking is easier for me - I am slightly disabled - and we found the staff (service was a bit slow) and food were good. Will go again to both venues.
Always great. Your staff, at the Hampstead branch, are lovely, charming, attentive ( without being ‘in your face’) and friendly. The food excellent & well presented and the place never feels over crowded; even when it’s really busy. Thank you
