Amazing experience, fantastic food, wonderful service, so good good my mum had 2 desserts for her birthday treat and reasonably priced for the 4 of us

A nice restaurant, good menu choices and nice, helpful staff. Food is always well prepared and presented although not always as hot as it could be. We like the added touch to this particular Côte of a Bar to allow for pre or post dinner drinks.

A lovely ambience, french feel to the decor and food was as before - excellent. Sweets are rarely the highlight unless at a non chain eatery, however tonight the puds weren't a disappointment. All enjoyed a very pleasant meal, good service and a price that wasn't outrageous. I coughed a bit when I saw the 12.5% "optional" service charge, but when I paid, the change was left for me to leave as a tip rather than assumed to be given which made a change(!). Will return.

A superb lunch with friends to celebrate my birthday. Excellent service, delicious food and a beautifully warm restaurant on a freezing winters day. All perfect.

We went for breakfast, as usual extremely pleasant and welcoming staff, we had the full English with apple juice and tea,, all very good, well cooked and fresh, really enjoyed it.

I recently had a celebratory birthday lunch with my family at the Cote Restaurant in Lincoln. It was a friendly, welcoming venue in the city centre, with personable waiting staff. The food was well-prepared, well-cooked and well-presented and we all thought that it was very authentic French cuisine. I would certainly recommend it and will be returning before too long.

Lovely evening, sat in an area we hadn't been to before. Chose from the Christmas menu, all delicious.

Service excellent as always. Had a full starter, main course and dessert, all delicious. Particularly enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine.

Another enjoyable meal in a convivial setting. Staff were as attentive as ever and the food was of the usual high quality. We shall return.

A very nice setting but not a lot of other customers even though it was the weekend - seemed quiet. The duck dish was superb, however they forgot to put black olives in my partners dish and I felt the food was a little overpriced.

We always love going to Cote, Lincoln. Staff are brilliant and friendly. Food is excellent. Good choice on menu. Lovely decor and lighting. First rate restaurant.

The food was delicious 😋 The service was excellent particularly by James and Istval. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely evening.

Service and food never fails to disappoint. We had the crab mayonnaise starter which was light and yet full of flavour very tasty. The main course was lovely too.

Good food and service in a relaxed atmosphere with hardly any other diners. The lift is still without a part and it has been this way for about 3 months

First the good: - we did the set menu plus wine pairing. It was a very reasonable price and the wine was very good. - starters and mains were pretty good which is always the case - very smart restaurant and good atmosphere - good bread & butter Now the not so good: - the service was not great. This always seem to be the case here. The waiting staff consistently forget to bring something (extra butter in this case) - the “amuse bouche” tasted like leek and potato soup which wasn’t very inspiring - the puddings were really not great. This has always been the case at this restaurant. My wife had chocolate fondant and I had apple tarte tatin. Neither of them looked homemade. Also my wife’s was supposed to have cinnamon ice cream with hers and mine was supposed to have calvados cream. They both came with vanilla ice cream In summary- same experience as normal here. Decent food but average service and pudding. The 12.5% tip that they add on automatically is presumptuous especially given the dodgy service. It’s shame as it could be much better and there’s a big gap in lincoln for a good French bistro

Great service and food. We had a post New Year family celebration and thoroughly enjoyed the attitude of the staff and enjoyed time with our kids.

Always great food and excellent service. We visit here regularly for breakfast as its one of the few places that do Eggs Royal. The place is always clean and tidy and a cut above most.

had a couple of meals here now, enjoyed them all! great food and place! always served nice and quick with great customer service, would definitely go again. I like that they have different specials each month as well

Came in 2016 brilliant experience unfortunately this year had to ask for the olives and bread and the moules marinier food still good but the service was lacking as we also had to ask for additional drinks which also hasn't gone down too well with our party especially when I recommended Cote.

It was a set menu which unfortunately didn't take pregnant women into consideration with the options provided. Although the menu was slightly modified for me to be able to eat I was still charged full price. Service was very good.

Running out ways to say how great the food, staff, price & atmosphere is at Cotes Lincoln. Yet again another 1st class experience without having to break the bank. Looking forward to the New Years menu

I've been to Cote in Lincoln many times and have thoroughly enjoyed every trip. However this visit was different and it didn't have the same qualities if visits previously. Normally food is exceptional, the service fantastic and the experience generally a 10/10. I'm positive this was a one off.

A simply superb meal with friends in a great restaurant. A quality menu and choice of food. Would happily return very soon & recommend to anyone.

The food was really tasty, and the service very friendly and helpful. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and we had a very pleasant evening. Will definitely visit again and would recommend.

The food was very disappointing. I chose the fish pie which was a mistake - very little fish content, too much potato. Service was good but not sure I will visit again.

Fantastic visit for our family Christmas party after the Pantomime! We were a little delayed and it was still no trouble even though we were late diners!

A lovely Christmas Eve experience, our breakfast was fabulous.. My only criticism woukd be I was given vouchers as a gift when I paid I was told I would lose the remainder as the company doesn't give change.

Good food and service but slightly disappointed with the adding of tip to bill. does state optional but could confuse/oblige people to pay. We had starter & main for 11.50-good value

A very enjoyable lunch - food was excellent, and we were given a nice quiet table for the two of us, away from a potentially noisy Christmas party group (they weren't very noisy in the end!). Service was excellent too.

Poor service this evening. Food was lukewarm and not up to usual standards. Our table was not ready when we arrived so we were sent down to an empty bar to wait and have a drink, but staff didn’t serve us and we were made to feel spare!
