Côte Muswell Hill

I love this restaurant - the staff are warm and friendly, attentive but not intrusive. The food is consistently delicious, the seasonal menus varied and interesting - and all really good value for money.

As always my experience at Cote was most enjoyable, excellent value for money, food well presented and good choice of dishes to choose from. Staff extremely attentive without being intrusive.

It was a Monday evening, and restaurant fairly quiet. So the service was attentive and atmosphere was relaxed. Very friendly staff and food to a consistent standard.

Always a nice atmosphere and the food was excellent. The prawn gratinee as a starter is a favourite. The Merlot a good choice of red wine

Good all round restaurant. Always delivers at a reasonable cost. Menu wide range very well cooked and presented. Worth signing up to Côte Brasserie website for some great offers from time to time.

As always a very enjoyable lunch with good service . Muswell Hill Cote has a very welcoming feel , the staff are always very friendly and attentive . I will continue to use this restaurant in the future.

Too quick service, not time to enjoy the dining experience. 3 different waiters hoovering over table. Food as expected, good value. Overall the service could slow down. Volume of the background music should be highger to filter other people's conversations and background noise.

fantastic food at a reasonable price delivered by Anna who was a chatty and efficient young lady. A bit loud because on Saturday night there wasn't an empty table in sight but not a long wait for food.

Food was good, especially the creme brûlée let down by poor drinks options. Couldn't, or didn't know how to, make a negroni and out of Courvoisier, also no wine was offered. I had to ask for a wine list when the main course was served. Fairly lacklustre service.

Was a wonderful birthday celebration and the food and service were perfect! Such a wide choice on the menu and such lovely staff. We had a ball.

Good food. Slow service at start. Wanted aperitif while choosing. Olives arrived just before starters. Fine after that. Prawn salad starter good. Everyone enjoyed meal

Had a lovely meal with friendly staff, and enjoyed it all, for the 2 1/2 hours we were there. Lovely atmosphere, and staff efficient. Looking forward to going again.

The food was great, (as it always is at Cote), and the service good, but somehow our order got missed by the kitchen and we ended up waiting 45 minutes for our main courses, when we had just popped in for a quick lunch. Hopefully this was just a 'one off'.

The food was good, but some of the portions not too big. Veggie sausages were good, but more spinach or veggies or extra vegetables would be good. The children fish and chips could do with an extra piece of fish. I was not impressed with the service. Very polite and friendly, but not too well organised. We had to ask three times for the vegetarian menu, they brought a dish by mistake and we wait far too long between the starters and the mains.

Booking was very easy on line. The range of meals was good and our choices were cooked superbly. There were subtle changes to the norm adding extra taste. The staff were attentive and very pleasant without being pushy. The meals were good value and we left wanting to return on another occasion.

A very relaxed and comfortable restaurant. The menu is varied and there's something for everyone. My eighteen year old granddaughter, who accompanied me, thinks it's very posh!

Excellent service food well presented and of good quality.we always enjoy our visits because the restaurant is always neat and tidy and staff make you feel at home

My food was fine but my husband's potatoes were cold and his duck was hot. We asked to be moved from the first table as a couple sitting next to us were very talking very loudly and 2 minutes later the waitress put a lady with two children next to us, despite the fact that the whole restaurant was empty. This was either deliberate or done without due consideration for a couple in their seventies.

The breakfast was delicious, excellent value with coffee and juice included. As usual, service was friendly and efficient as well as the surroundings being very nice.

Perfect in every respect. Welcome on entry, served water and drinks and not rushed in any way . Very well recommended excellent choice of menu and drinks . A delight for us and our invited friends .

5 of us went here for dinner on a Friday evening - it was, surprisingly, not 'rammed'! The food was very good and nicely served. I particularly liked my Breton fish stew!!

Great meal and great service. We were greeted at the entrance with a friendly greeting and was given a choice of tables. Staff were attentive but not intrusive.

Although the offer was 2for1 on the early evening set menu, we were charged the full price for two meals and had to get the bill changed, the excuse was that the restaurant was very busy that night, which it was.

Muswell Hill Cote had very friendly staff and reliably good food! We weren't rushed off our table, so could chat for ages. Would go again.

My husband and I were hoping for a quiet lunch but we were sat next to the biggest, noisiest table in the restaurant. We ordered some bread and steak frite. The streaks turned up about 30 secs after the bread. I tried to tell the waitress that we had only just received our starter. She shrugged and said the kitchen didn't get told about bread. The food was good though.

Had the anniversary menu. Knew most of it. Delicious and, as always, consistent. Service excellent. For a chain they have all the advantages of bulk buying and avoid the pitfall of inconsyent cooking which is the blight of some chains.

We've been going to this Cote for a few years and it can vary a lot depending on the staff member you get. This time the food was excellent but the waiter wasn't friendly.

We enjoyed the food and the range of vegetarian options available, however the service we received was slow and disorganised. Waiting staff seemed disinterested in serving us.

The food is delicious but deserts don't worth £6. We had a lemon tart and pastry with apple. Pastry in both was burnt and dry. Lemon tart was was so much lemony we couldn't eat it. Fish stew was fantastic! Haddock with lentil was perfect.

The food was fantastic, we are a big fans of that place, excellent service, nice welcome, straight way offer us the complimentary glass of skirt Royale. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Food quality was good, however service was a little haphazard even on a relatively quiet evening. Bread ordered as a starter never showed up, two of the mains arrived 7 minutes before the other two and on three occasions we had to call out to the waiters to get attention.

Duck and chicken salad were both excellent, as were tomatoes Breton and pissaladiere. Service was good. We all hate the Cote habit of charging a service fee, which, though theoretically optional, is really unavoidable. Customers cannot know whether it goes to staff or not. We would prefer to tip the individual waiter/waitress, and would have done so last night had you not extracted your percentage.

We were welcomed and seated immediately. Our choices were listened to and carried out in good time and the food was delicious. Really enjoyable. You should be congratulated.

We have The fish parmentier which was delicious as usual Followed by apple tart & yum icecream ! My friend preferred the creme brûlée ! An kir royals ! Always a pleasure
