Good service and great table. Wide variety on the menu and food the same quality as always. You know what you get at Cote hence we go back

My husbands haddock was very dry and completely overcooked. which rather spoiled the evening. Is starter, Onion soup was good. My two courses were up the the normal good standard.

After a long day out in central London we arrived earlier than intended. The staff found us a table immediately, no waiting.We received good service. Polite and attentive staff. Delicious food, I had the grilled plaice and my husband had steak ( well done as he likes it).

Excellent food and great atmosphere. Would have given full marks except service was lacking - had to ask multiple times for water, wine, sauces and coffee - and the restaurant wasn't even half full. Its a shame because service on previous visits has been good. It won't stop me visiting again.

Food was really nice and restaurant very child friendly too. Service was very attentive too. We had a great time and we will be back.

One of the best meals we had in a while! Everything was done extremely well and the service was friendly and efficient! The asparagus with hollandaise sauce was excellent, the onion soup nicely dense and cheesy, the fish parmentier yummy and the escalope of veal tender and perfectly cooked and the accompanying creamed spinach delicious. The tarte fine de pommes was very good. A thoroughly pleasant experience and very enjoyable overall evening indeed!

Our visit was a pre-booked birthday lunch. The food and service was excellent. The General Manager and his staff are always courteous and obliging. Without doubt it is our favourite restaurant in Muswell Hill by far and we will be going back again and again.

My partner and I had a pleasant meal on Saturday night. The ambience is good for a North London French bistro. We both chose plaice from the monthly specials menu. It was nice, but a bit swamped with herb butter for my liking.

Food very tasty, atmosphere pleasant, service very polite, our only issue was we hadn't finished our starters when the main course very quickly arrived as was placed on table, then I had barely finished the main course when this SAS rushed away. We didn't mention this at the time but on reflection felt this made our evening out together feel a bit rushed. We did wonder whether they needed the table, but don't think this could of been the case as the restaurant wasn't very busy and we had arrived almost an hour early for our reservation .

Great food and service.There is also nice, elegant and calm atmosphere. This is the place where I will be coming back definitely. Nice wine selection.Highly recommended.

This is an excellent restaurant with very friendly staff, great food fairly priced & tables spaciously laid out creating a pleasant atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant chain as we have been to several of these restaurant spread over London & have never been disappointed, well done. Kevin & Teresa

Great food, as always - perhaps a little understaffed on the night as service was quite slow at times, but staff were friendly and clearly working hard.

Atmosphere is fine, service Ok. Onion soup tasted OK but felt like it was outbof a bag. Hugely disappointed in steak: ordered medium rare and arrived overcooked.

The food is always excellent with some old favourites and some new dishes. The staff are friendly and helpful. The layout of the restaurant is such that you are never on top of your neighbours. It's certainly the best restaurant in Muswell Hill.

Lovely evening with really friendly waitress. Food really good value. We went for the early supper deal and were really impressed at the wide variety on the menu.

Lovely restaurant and helpful staff. Food always reliable - although husband's main was a bit to sauce-heavy. My asparagus and steak were really good - chips could be a tad thicker, but they are frites!

Service as prompt as ever. Food delivered in a piping hot condition and all in our party enjoyed. This is our 4th visit to this establishment in the last 6 weeks ago and what impresses is the consistency in the food preparation and service.

A very good experience. My main, 'Poulet Roti' was too dry, but staff were quick to change it for the Breton Chicken dish which was very good. Staff were great. We were all happy with the other dishes.

Another excellent Côte meal. I have eaten in the Muswell Hill Côte many times and the food and service are always top-notch. There's a relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space.

Very nice meal as usual, good service. The early evening menu is very good value and it's good that it changes every month, so there's always something different to try.

The meal was good value, as was the bottle of Muscadet. The staff were excellent, but a bit run ragged by a busy Friday lunchtime. There didn't seem as many staff on duty than is usual, so the service wasn't as efficient as usual.

The usual helpful and friendly staff who always welcome us. We had the set menu for April which was cooked well and tasted delicious. It was made even better as one of the meals was free due to the Cote Reward system.

Great quality food and service - the waiters were attentive. The kids had a great time. Peaceful atmosphere and clean surroundings including toilets. We love coming here.

Warm, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great food!! This is my go to place for a good breakfast, lunch, or dinner, definitely the best vegi breakfast in town, with a Hollandaise to die for!!

Sorry but steaks were not as ordered My sons fillet medium rare was full of gristle to the point he had to go to the loo to spit out and my medium well done was a grey dry inedible steak. I tried to tell waiter but he just ignored! I have always had good steaks up till now so very disappointed

As usual, the breakfast was very enjoyable and the service and atmosphere pleasant and condusive to a peaceful social experience. The food was of the correct temperature, fresh and attractively presented and quickly served. The good quality of the breads , butter and jam were notable. The reason I have given a 5 and not a 6 is just that, after our friendly waitress left, it was a little difficult to catch the manager's eye for further sevice, however, myself and my two companions all enjoyed our visit.

The restaurant was well located on the main high street. We went for breakfast and service was very attentive. There was a problem with the poached eggs, being over cooked, but the staff reacted very professionally, swiftly providing a fresh replacement breakfast, I cannot commend the staff enough

excellent food two of us had the early menu three normal menu. The waitress was very charming and pleasant with a good sense of humour. Most enjoyable couple of hours.

This is our "default" restaurant and we love the atmosphere and the food and usually the service which is fast and polite and friendly. this time, however, there was new staff who just werent with it. we waited way too long so the usual 5 star rating has dropped to three and frankly, would be lower if we didnt usually love this place.

Very tasty meal. Restaurent catered for my daughter who has coeliac disease very well! Enjoyed the complementary wine too. Staff were all pleasant! Definitely will return! Thank you!
