The service was great, they appeared to be stretched and maintained professionality well. Unfortunately, the food let the experience down. It was quite a wait inbetween courses and unfortunately mine was still frozen in the middle! (This was quickly rectified) Thank you.

I would have given 6 stars but the gluten free bread you serve is lacking in overall flavour. there are so many good gluten free bakeries that actually do baguette/sour dough etc. the bread you use is the same sold in grocery stores. it is not the best otherwise the food and choice of wines were excellent!

Good venue and atmosphere but today, the food was poor. It was bland and could have been hotter. I was there with 2 others and we all felt the same. We have seen this as a bad day as have always had excellent experiences, but it was disappointing.

Friendly, attentive and prompt service. Good food. Melon in starter was perfect. Chocolate sauce was disappointing. A group of men behind us became louder and louder (not Côte’s fault but upstairs seating area which I prefer is not good for large groups) . Otherwise, excellent.

Very poor service, wear brought food, we did not have any cutlery/napkins, was not attentive for further requests, Also ignored by ? supervisor lady so had to leave table 3 times to get assistance. Was entertaining overseas guests who had not dined at a Cote restaurant before, were very disappointed, they will not revisit. I live in West London, frequently dine at Richmond, Chiswick and Kensington Cote restaurants, although frequently busy service is much superior, v pleasant ambience. Suggest a voucher for any Cote restaurant should be sent to me as compensation for this embarrassing. disappointing experience. Anne Breakspeare

4 mains out of 8 sent back, cold & steaks not cooked correctly & one side ordered never arrived

Disappointed by the fatty lamb rump, and very little goats cheese that came with my tomato starter. But a busy bustling place with plenty of diners. Service was in a hurry but my friend and I had lots of catching up to do so we weren’t too bothered.

Warm, attentive, friendly service. Wonderful gin and tonic cocktails. My husband’s birthday was made into a very special experience. Food was excellent. Well presented, tasty and generous portions. Can’t fault it.

Prawns delicious, fillet steak amazing as usual and strawberry pavlova a ‘mess’ (Eton) A great dinner.

Very helpful and cheerful staff. A nice meal enjoyed by all. One little suggestion that all restaurants would benefit from knowing- being vegetarian doesn’t automatically mean that we like goats cheese. your risotto was so tempting until I read that it included goats cheese. We do always enjoy eating at Cotes. Just wish the noise levels could be controlled, don’t know how though. Thank you for helping to make our day so special.

Online booking was easy and the restaurant had our booking when we arrived. The waiting staff were often slow to attend to us but were reasonably efficient once we'd caught their attention. The food is reasonably priced for London and the quality reflects that - nothing wrong, but neither was it oustanding food. Overall a reasonably good experience and certainly good for the price.

A rather mixed experience. Good front of house and excellent waitress. Very disappointing effort from the kitchen. Chicken and walnut salad appeared without a mound of lettuce and no avocado and with little or no dressing. Waitress had to return twice to improve the offering. We were offered free bread and a coffee to make up for the disappointment. After some insistence a better offer was made. Not up to your usual standards.

We enjoyed our meal. The food at Cote is almost always of a high standard for a chain restaurant and the service was pleasant. The acoustics made conversation difficult, however.

Very slow start with no champagne glasses and a long wait for the prosecco. Restaurant very busy to start with but once guests had gone into the Hall it was such quieter and we had better service.
