Côte Royal Festival Hall

Food quite nice, but ambience and service not as good as other locations...not sure why... We were eating mid afternoon (2.30 to 3.30 ) & then going to Southbank play...there were not many people in at that time...though it had been packed upstairs for the first few minutes. “Free Negroni” was very orange...maybe too much of one ingredient? Toilets were a bit neglected...bin overflowing.

Very pleasant and the staff were very helpful, giving us our desserts free because they were late coming.

Lovely meal made even better by fantastic staff. A perfect afternoon. We'll definitely be back.

A pleasant celebratory meal with friends, albeit very busy due to there having been a graduation event at the Royal Albert Hall. The staff were attentive and the meal enjoyable. We did sit near the upstairs bar area and it sometimes was very noisy as staff cleared plates at the side of us as well as prepared drinks and filled water bottles. On one occasion I was accidentally sprayed with water!

I can always rely on Cote for a lovely meal. Great value and presented perfectly. Service wasn’t up to the usual 5 star service but nevertheless pretty good. Looking forward to coming back again Howard

A cheerful welcome and given a choice of table. Offered drinks and water upon arrival and food was delicious arriving promptly. Lovely atmosphere, food and staff.

Attended after my sons graduation. A very busy restaurant but the service was still first class.

Very good selection of dishes on Set Menu and the quality of the food was very good.

Very disappointing. Champagne not chilled enough. The steak tired, cold and tough with wilted watercress which made the whole plate look dreadful. The fish dish presentation wasn't very pretty either and there was a funny smell. This is the 3rd or 4th time we've eaten in a Côte and frankly it's always been disappointing. I had hoped that in such a prestigious environment it might be somewhat elevated and improved, but sadly not the case. Waiters were lovely.

Started off very well, I'd asked for a quiet table if possible and we got a good one. The service tailed off about half way through due to a very big (hen?) party and after that we had to make ourselves felt for service. This was very understandable and staff remained polite and helpful throughout - just slow. But we enjoyed our visit.

This is the review I have just put on trip advisor. Fantastic food and service, especially Carmin and Amanda. We have eaten at a few Cotê restaurants and have always enjoyed the food and service. This time we had tickets for a show at the Royal Festival Hall (Southbank Centre) and booked Cotê, which is directly opposite for a quick pre-show dinner. It was a busy night and our starters were a little late, but we did not say anything. We didn’t have to as our waitress Carmin noticed us glancing at our watches and she came over to us and apologised for the delay. We explained we had Theatre tickets and she said she would speak to her manager. Carmin then came right back and said our starters would be out very soon and they would have our mains ready for us as soon as we needed them. Then, without us asking, her manager Amanda came over and apologised again and offered us a reduction on the bill as a good Will gesture. We were very impressed with the service we received, it was a busy night in the restaurant and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had our meal in time for our show. Our compliments to he kitchen also as the food was delicious. Thank you Amanda & Carmin, you did not need to help us as much as you did and you are both fantastic ambassadors for Cotê. I have worked in restaurants and I know how busy and stressful it can be and I must say all the staff we encountered were fantastic.

Not visited before but booked a table for a meal before going to a show at the RFH. We were extremely impressed with the food, the atmosphere and the welcome we received from the staff, and will most certainly make a return visit next time we're in the vicinity.

My local Cote and a favourite of mine for all the right reasons - service and food superb.

Meeting old friends there and my third visit to Cote this week twice in Woking once here. Unfortunately my potatoes were cold but that was rectified immediately Then my friend found a piece of foil wrap in his food Manger cane straight away and took the meal price off the bill and also took the price of our bottle of wine off the bill for the inconvenience I think it was just a busy Sunday but the manager dealt with it quickly and efficiently We will still continue to visit Cote Festival hall

Food was amazing and our server was lovely, maybe a bit quick to clear our plates and glasses. Worth reminding them if you are not in a hurry, Lovely indoor and outdoor spaces.

Delicious meal at a reasonable price. Service was good although the main course took a while to arrive so we had to rush it in order to get to the Festival Hall in time. Great location, 1 minute's walk from the FH. Thoroughly recommend.

Good value standard set menu. Very busy pre theatre so need to book.

The service was friendly and prompt (we had told them we were a pre-theatre booking so needed to be quite hasty). Food was good. Côte tend to be pretty reliable - one of the better chain restaurants.

Not up to the normal standard. I had pork which was tender but tasteless, served on a bed of tasteless mash potato. The service was good even though they were extremely busy.

Not my usual Cote....but in terms of friendliness, efficiency and good food!....the same! Couldn’t fault it.

Starterfine. Rib eye steak served not rare, as requested and cold. Replaced by another over cooked steak and again cold. The manager atoned for these mistakes by offering the meal on a gratis base.

There is a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff is very pleasant, the service excellent. The food was lovely!

Sat in lower section at rear next to serving station. Seating bit cramped. Service efficient. Food good.
