Great food, nice welcome, good table and charming waiter! All as normal.
Enjoyed food and very pleasant service as group of 4 friends for early Sat pre-theatre meal. However found noise levelst rather noisy to hear at times when became busy.
Really lovely experience. The food was delicious, and we were all more than happy with our various choices in each course which we felt were good value for money. The service was wonderful, efficient but very friendly. The ambience was lovely and we could happily hold a conversation without difficulty hearing one another. Would certainly recommend your restaurant.
We were delighted with every aspect of our visit. Staff greetiing & showing us to our table, excellent & attentive waiters & a very enjoyable dinner. We will definitely come again, particularly for pre or post concert dinner.
Love Cote!! Favourite restaurant! Always great service and atmosphere !
We always enjoy the food at Cote restaurants ( although we wish the pre theatre meal was available on Saturdays!) and yesterday the meal was beautifully presented and reached the usual high standard of quality. There was, however an unexpected and unwelcome “glitch” in that our main meal was served almost immediately after our aperitif. We questioned this and were told that the Chef was not aware that we had ordered olives and warm bread to accompany our delicious free gin and tonics - thank you so much for those.... Apparently an aperitif and chosen accompaniments are not considered to be a “starter “ There seems to be a lack of communication between restaurant staff and the kitchen staff which might be addressed for the future. Having refused to accept the early service of our meal I cannot emphasise enough the courteous, smiling service of the staff involved and the difficulties were resolved without unpleasantness or argument. The Manager/Maitre de - Halo - and his staff were exemplary and I fully expect that ordering/ serving procedures willl be reviewed and adjusted to ensure customer satisfaction.
Good fillet steak. Great value with the free wine offer.
The food we had was no more than average. The food we had was nowhere near as good as the food at Cote Barbican and Cote Highgate
Absolutely brilliant! Food wonderful. Staff all very friendly, professional and happy in their work. So much so, we ate there two nights on the trot. Even when we asked to move tables because the ladies on the next table liked the sound of their own voices so much we couldn't hear ours! This was done without fuss or problems. Halo, I think is the manager? Very good at his job! 5* customer service. Can't wait to return on our next trip to London. Can't recommend enough. But booking is a must.
Good food, great value. Good service and overall experience! Thanks
Wonderful food and the service was perfect.Especially Halo who welcomed us at the door and looked after us very well. Highly recommend a visit. Not to be missed.
The aircon was on quite strong, so it felt a bit cold. The tables were too close together so it was quite noisy and hard to get in and out of the seats. We had to wait quite a while for plates to be cleared away and for the waitress to come round again after courses and for the bill. The food however was the BEST I've eaten at Cote (and I've eaten here... many, many times!) We had the dishes from the specials menu. The chateaubriand was perfectly rare, chunky and tender, and the dark chocolate torte with hazelnut was so rich and nutty. I really hope these are kept on the menu permanently, not just as specials!
Lovely food and great service. Full gluten Free menu available too. We will go again. We mainly ate fish and all choice s were good. the
Great service and great food - but so popular it can get a bit noisy! Excellent value.
We went for a pre-concert (and birthday) dinner. We sat down at 5.50pm and by 7.10pm had had two of the three courses we had planned for. Our daughter, who declined a starter, and was hoping for dessert, had only one course. Whilst the food was lovely when it came, the service was way too slow for a pre theatre meal. When the bill came we were charged for three two course meals, even though our daughter had only had one course. We had to explain this to the waiter who then managed to reduce the bill. So all in all, rather disappointing.
Great meal and the waiter went out of his way for me to get the last creme caramel as I had gone to Cote specifically for that wonderful dessert! Thank you
Good food and reasonably priced. The waiters were very attentive.
First visit to this London Cote. Service was very good and the food enjoyable. Wine was average considering the price paid for it. Kept up the standard I would expect from a Cote Restaurant.
Good food and service. Good value for location. Rather noisy.
Pre theatre meal on both standard and prestige menus excellent and good value for area. Quiet at 4.30 but very busy by 5.30. Staff welcoming and attentive.
Very kind and welcoming staff who were attentive but not on top of you, the food was delicious and there was a great atmosphere. We were there after theatres started so it was busy but not heaving.
Service was excellent and the food well prepared and tasty. We had a pre-theatre meal and the restaurant copes well with the demand from many diners. Good value for money in comparison with some others near by.
Great food and excellent value. The set meal is amazing! Had a lovely evening here, service was great; efficient but never felt rushed. Would definitely recommend.
Unfortunately I booked 8am rather than 8pm (pls try and make your on line clock clearer). Nevertheless the staff were Fantastic . We needed a table for 8. They got this for us within 20 mins. I go to the Cote quite often and the food was up to its usual high standards.. Well done
Busy chain restaurant which serves good value set menu and reasonably priced a la carte. Food is standard French style but consistently good. Staff are always busy but pleasant. Enjoyable evening.
First time at this particular Cote, but I'm a big fan of the group. Food is always reliable and excellent value if you have either of the set menus.
Great experience, super-fast service, lovely food, friendly waiter. Couldn't have been bettered
Tasty food. Generous portions. Cloth napkins. Clean cutlery. Faultless service. Happy customer!
We booked to allow loads of time as we had tickets for the theatre. An hour and a half is usually more than sufficient. Sadly, they appeared to completely forget our main course. So much so, that the rather confused-looking waiter brought us the dessert menu while we were still waiting. There was a gap of 45 minutes between starter and main course, which arrived 75 minutes after we had ordered. We were due at the theatre shortly afterwards. The main courses that arrived were not good. My husband's egg florentine looked as though it had been thrown at the plate, only around 3/4 of the portion landing safely. His fries didn't arrive at all until after we had asked where they were and they appeared after he had finished the rest of his meal. My lamb was over-cooked and my 'pea and shallot' salad included dried and wrinkly peas such as my grandmother would cook (not a compliment). I very rarely complain in restaurants, but in this case it was necessary. Happily, the manager(?) took the cost of the main courses off our bill before we had to rush to the theatre. I won't be returning in a hurry. It's a shame, because other branches have been good.
Good service and prompt serving of the courses. Would have preferred it if the main course had not been put on the table while I was still eating the bread and olives. The main course (rump of lamb) was perfectly prepared. However, the chocolate mousse dessert was at best average; there was plenty of it but it was heavy and stodgy. Chocolate mousse should be light and have a creamy consistency.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful and immediately replaced some chips which were rather cold! We were seated in the lower floor, which was rather noisy, but tolerable. It is a good place to go for a reasonably priced meal pre-theatre or concert, as it is right next to the Festival Hall.
Despite being a very busy Saturday I had my order taken soon after I arrived at my pre reserved table. I was served and received my food quickly and efficiently
As usual, a very pleasant experience. We all enjoyed our food very much. The service was friendly and efficient. Although it got very busy the atmosphere was calm.
Very disappointing compared to other Cote restaurants we have visited. We had booked and requested a window table, no recognition of this when we arrived. Service very slow and food below usual standard. Also a very noisy restaurant, no good if you want to converse with a table of friends.
Another enjoyable meal at Cote and excellent service as usual. Friends dining with us hadn't been to Cote before and were very impressed with the value for money. Would choose a different main from the April set menu next time as the boeuf en croute wasn't the beef wellington type dish I thought it might be. Looking forward to our next visit at the end of the month.
Excellent venue ,food and service. We will certainly visit again - soon. This is the second Cote Brasserie we have used - both highly recommended. Excellent on all counts.
Great food great service! We all had a really good time.
Very good service and good food! The sea bass with fennel and the creme caramel especially good. Arrived early and it was no problem - felt very welcome.
Busy restaurant, but they graciously welcomed our very early arrival for our booking. Service was good, although the restaurant was hectic, with a couple of large parties, our waiter Bouba was very attentive and didn’t miss a thing. Food good and well presented as ever, staff lovely, really enjoyed our meal
Really good food at very acceptable prices. The seafood linguine was tasty, hot and plentiful. And the creme brûlée is out of this world. x
