The food we had was no more than average. The food we had was nowhere near as good as the food at Cote Barbican and Cote Highgate

Delightful feeling of a "family run" business: personable, friendly, good food etc. But it is a chain. Noise level probably better than most. Attentive staff

Absolutely brilliant! Food wonderful. Staff all very friendly, professional and happy in their work. So much so, we ate there two nights on the trot. Even when we asked to move tables because the ladies on the next table liked the sound of their own voices so much we couldn't hear ours! This was done without fuss or problems. Halo, I think is the manager? Very good at his job! 5* customer service. Can't wait to return on our next trip to London. Can't recommend enough. But booking is a must.

After an initial disagreement over our table, we had a good evening with very good service and food. I do like the cote chain but it is dependent upon the welcome that you receive and the service.

The aircon was on quite strong, so it felt a bit cold. The tables were too close together so it was quite noisy and hard to get in and out of the seats. We had to wait quite a while for plates to be cleared away and for the waitress to come round again after courses and for the bill. The food however was the BEST I've eaten at Cote (and I've eaten here... many, many times!) We had the dishes from the specials menu. The chateaubriand was perfectly rare, chunky and tender, and the dark chocolate torte with hazelnut was so rich and nutty. I really hope these are kept on the menu permanently, not just as specials!

The staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating for our group which were celebrating a 70th birthday. We were positioned right by the door and close to the accessible toilet which was very considerate given we had a wheelchair user in the group. The rendition of 'Happy Birthday' was also a very nice touch!

Took our brother in law here for a meal to celebrate his 70th birthday. The staff were extremely attentive and made us feel special. They even sang Happy Birthday to him. We have visited a number of other Cotes but this was our first visit here, very useful if you are going to the Royal Festival Hall like us.

First visit to this London Cote. Service was very good and the food enjoyable. Wine was average considering the price paid for it. Kept up the standard I would expect from a Cote Restaurant.

I’ve eaten in other Cote venues but this lunch was much less good. My companion’s soup was served stone cold and had to go back and bread was charged extra. My ratatouille starter on sourdough made the bread soggy - better to have the bread on the side, please. The parmentier main was very bland with very little meat and pale cabbage, so rather unattractive. House white not cold enough and too sweet. Cote can do better than this!

The customer service was excellent. The food was very good! We had a meal voucher that was given to us previously by the restaurant and the meal ended up being a few pounds over the amount of the voucher - the manager came and told us it was fine and we didn't have to reconcile anything. I was truly pleased!

I had the Nicoise, not because I especially wanted a salad but because I know Cote serve it with a tuna steak instead of the chunks or flakes most others provide. It was perfectly medium rare and delicious. My friend had a chicken salad and we both continued our meal with a tasty dessert. The large glasses of wine were large and good. Service was friendly and efficient. Neither my first nor last visit!

A lovely table for two for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant is delightful, the food was impeccable and the service was absolutely perfect. We had such a lovely time I can't wait to go back. Crab mayonnaise was bursting with flavour, steak frites cooked to perfection, tarte au citron very zingy. Highly recommended.

Pre-concert meal, booking process was very easy on their website. Once I got there the staff was very welcoming and all smiling. Thought it was going to be crowded since it was dinner time, but it was very reasonable and I didn’t have to wait to be served. Courses came at normal pace, didn’t have to wait to long for my next course nor I felt rushed. A very happy customer who will be returning soon.

Good table in window, very helpful manager (?) who greeted us and led us to table and was aware if we wanted anything. He was particularly accommodating as we wanted something that didn't quite fit with the menus offered but he was prepared to accept our request. V good, efficient, professional service from the person who greeted us and another waiter who served us. Very pleasant experience.

Recently we had an early evening meal with friends before going to an event at the Royal Festival Hall. Cote is one of our main restaurant choices as we always enjoy the varied menu and the house wine is very acceptable. On this occasion we certainly weren't disappointed - the food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and attention by the staff, particularly the manager, was superb. We shall definitely be returning!

If I could give this place no stars I would! I ordered the mussels in cider with lardons as a starter. I was served a rotten mussel. The shell was open, the contents were a disintegrated , black mush and it smelt rancid! Unfortunately this mussel was at the bottom of the pile soaked in the broth and so I had eaten 1/3 of the dish before I smelt it. It astonishes me, as a very keen cook myself, that a chain with the reputation of Cote can serve a mussel that has gone off. Surely there is a check before the dish is served and in any case the smell was a complete give-away? This is dangerous, and downright unacceptable. I am not sure that the staff immediately understood the potential health hazards of serving rancid shellfish. Their initial reaction didn't suggest this was the case. However they whisked the dish away rapidly and did later come and apologise and offer a voucher. I will never eat at this restaurant again . On a plus side our waiter was delightful and I feel very sorry for him because he didn't cook the dish but had to deal with the fallout.
