Staff were so helpful and friendly, delicious food and drinks, great location, really good Covid precautions in place, the whole restaurant was spotless.
Excellent food excellent service , went with all the family . 4 boys and the two of us, all very happy with their food and drinks Service was brilliant Thanks
It was great to be back. The tuna nicoise is still fabulous!
top notch in every way and agreeable service. so good to have Cote back and en forme
Very enjoyable especially as I was a single spontaneous drop in. I live nearby so it was almost like the olden days! My sea bream was fresh and delicious. The waitress reassured me during the waiting time so I did not feel neglected despite having no companion.
Another lovely restaurant and lovely food and good service. Will definitely go back again.
Reliable food nicely presented with good service & reasonable prices
Lovely staff! Lovely service and super food. The Rhubarb cocktail was fabulous abd thank goodness as it was one if the first drinks I have had in a few months. Obviousoy our friend Covid meant it was very quiet but top work in crappy circumstances
Very well managed and food was excellent. The service was spot on.
Fantastic service and amazing food - as always! Well done to the team. The restaurant looks amazing.
Excellent food, staff and atmosphere. Thank you for a good night.
The manager and staff at Cote Festival Hall are very professional and go out of their way to provide excellent service. The food and drinks are well priced and delicious. We were made to feel very welcome and we will be back!
Appalled at level of service. After half an hour no starter so left. Wine not charged for. Manager apologetic. Wanted to give us vouchers to use at another cote restautant.
The place was busy and the staff seemed overwhelmed. First of all, on the pre-theatre menu, the asparagus soup was off. We arrived at 6.05pm; the starters arrived at 6.40pm. Then, when we had finished the starters, we were told that the sea-bream ordered was off. The substitute steak came promptly, but it was all a rush to eat and drink in time for a 7.30pm concert at the RFH. No time for Cote's excellent creme caramel! The food was good, as ever. The bill was reduced - not requested b y us - which is certainly a point in their favour.
As always reasonably priced good fresh food. Excellent service We always visit once or twice when in London. Wine is at french rather than english prices.
Good food, good price, good service ! A great lunch place on the busy South Bank to go for catch ups with friends ! I would recommend.
Enjoyable meal at a new branch of Cote at Southbank. Its new so its settling down and I am sure it will be successful. The food at Cote is consistent if a little formulaic and pre cooked. Good value.
We really enjoyed our delicious meals and friendly service. The sea-bass with fennel purée was a superb combination. Thank you for a wonderful pre-concert dining experience!
One of our party was ill soon after arrival. We had exemplary support from the staff who did all they could to help. Unfortunately the ill guest and his partner had to leave but we, the remaining couple, stayed for our lunch (delayed by over an hour) which was excellent, supplemented by some sparking wine provided by the restaurant to compensate for our difficulties. In all the food and service could not have been better.
Always good food and friendly service. Good value for money too.
Delightful breakfast and dinner! Just what we needed after a very early start to the day and a wonderfully interesting and VERY tiring full day at the V&A. Excellent food and friendly, slick service too. We will definitely return when we are back in London again very soon! Many thanks, R and K xxx.
Lovely food, fab location and the price fix menu is excellent value. Plus, the acoustics are always good at Cote which is important to me as I hate sitting in noisy, brash surroundings that seem the current trend. I keep going back, but book a table as it popular and gets busy
Lovely food, great service, and very patient with all the kids in there (including ours!). We’ve eaten in a few different Côtes (love the set menus) and this was by far thr best food - my mum raved about the pork for the rest of the day and wants to thank the chef!
Overall it’s a great place to eat. The food is flavoursome, the selection of wines it’s fantastic, the service is good. I would however liked to see more pasta dishes on the menue. The venue can get a little noisy at some point, it may help to play some classical music to keep people calm! Maybe. I’m very happy with cote brasserie and would definitely go back there to enjoy more food dishes.🥂😊❤️
We book Cote because it's always good. Our experience last night was again excellent. Great, fast service and delicious food. I nearly always choose the French onion soup because I love it. My seafood linguine was good and my creme caramel was to die for. Our wine was also good.
Second time here for my pre concert meal, excellent service and personnel! Definitely coming again to dine before my concerts !
Absolutely outstanding customer service from the second we entered, thoroughly impressed by the whole team. I spoke to Reesh before we left and conveyed our thanks, really impressive. Well done to the chefs for delicious food and to the team that worked relentlessly on the day. Each and every one of them stood out in their own way, hats off to you all.
The service and ambience were great. A lovely placevto go.
Food fair. Used to be good, but like so many other chains, expand too much and quality does not stay at same standard. Fried zucchini was great; would not order grilled chicken with sardelaise again - and I've had sardelaise potatoes in France, where they were scrumptious.
Good pre-theatre meal and value for money. Would definitely go again.
Amazing service and staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and cooked perfectly. Staff were exceptional, very friendly and welcoming, was very pleased with the service.
I have been to better Cote restaurants. The service was slow and this was comped due to us being seated later than our booking time. I was grateful for the manager to remove the service charge from our bill without me complaining. Wasn’t given complimentary water until I asked. The food was nice but again, I feel that I’ve experienced better Cote’s elsewhere. The Southbank is such a hub for tourists so maybe this affects the restaurant and it’s service.
Food is absolutely unbelievable! Couldn't of asked for anything better 10/10 and will definitely be going again! Staff were very friendly and attentive will be recommending to friends and family!
Have visited various Cote establishments in London and the South, always receiving good service and delicious dishes. This was no exception, despite raucous neighbours the staff ensured that, nonetheless, our experience was a pleasurable one.
Asked for table by window and not next to door. Table allocated matched our request. Food was excellent and service unobtrusive and prompt.
we go to this chain a lot because of its reliability and were not disappointed with our firrst time at the South bank venue. lovely service as well as good food, although a couple of pieces of squid in the linguine dish were rather overcooked
We enjoyed this lunch time meal very much. Given the Côté is a franchise we feel it is very good and reaches a high level of quality.
Nice relaxed ambience but with the door open and air conditioning on it was chilly - asked for it to be turned off which it was but was put on again later. With it off it got stuffy so prob. needs to be reset lower. Staff nice and initially attentive but service got slower and slower - long wait for bill.
Cote lost the plot on this occasion, fortunately not for our table. The lunch interval for the Festival Hall was 12.30'till 2pm and the kitchen could not cope with demand. I felt sorry for those who had to abandon their meal or had none at all. Our waiter who came f rom Chicago was excellent. Maybe next year things will be improved. We have dined at Cote on many occasions in many places; some good some not so good; Guildford is definitely our favourite - it's all down to staff training.
Our pre-theatre lunch at Cote was enjoyable and very hospitably served by all staff. As a coeliac I was impressed by the range of gluten-free options on the menu and I ate with confidence as my food was served with clear labels to identify its dietary style.
