We had the set lunch menu. Good choice and very reasonably priced.The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going again in the near future

Meal was excellent. Wine was unfortunately made a mess of by bits of cork left floating in our wine glasses and was replaced without a problem. We will return as the meal was great.

Service was slow, brassiere was very noisy and the food very plane i.e. When you order steak and chips that's all you get, no mushroom, tomatoes, salad or anything.

Very nice staff! Good food efficiently served. We did not want a long, leisurely meal but something to keep us going after an evening at the cinema. The weekend menu was perfect for our needs and was good value

Not up to standard on this visit. Staff were as always courteous and helpful but food was delivered to the table just warm, not hot.

Always first class food and service. Have eaten at Cote in London, Esher, Bath, Chichester and Winchester and never had a bad meal or poor service. Always value for money.

Very good and flexible service with kids. Prices were reasonable too. Dined from the 3 course set menu which had good choice, and they let the kids split a steak cooked well done, even sending it back without prompting when it came out a bit pink to start with.

Food good and service good. Coffee was a little slow in coming but we had a good table which was quite private and not too noisy.

Great service and delicious food. Staff very friendly and accomodating and it was a lovely touch to give my Mother a free pudding with a Happy Birthday message on it for her birthday.

Perfect on every level. An example of how to run a successful restaurant chain. I usually have a steak frites. Happy with it every time. This time I tried the creme caramel though I think it was called crime brûlée can't remember now but what came was the most heavenly crime caramel with rich dark brown vanilla on the top and all creamy throughout. Best pudding I've had in over a year. Yum!

Great service, very attentive staff and the food was delicious. The free bottle of wine was just a bonus!! Consistently very good at all the Cotes we have been too.

Really lovely time, they were very helpful with me needing gluten free food and helped us celebrate my boyfriend's birthday beautifully :) Abi was our server and she was absolutely wonderful! Thank you.

WE ALWAYS ENJOY OUR MEALS AND A PERSONALIZED SERVICE AT THE WINCHESTER RESTAURANT. IT IS WELL LOCATED AT THE TOP OF THE HIGH STREET AND HAS VERY COMPETITIVE PRICES WHEN COMPARED WITH OTHER RESTAURANT CHAINS.

It was great food, great value and great service as always from a cote brassiere. It does not feel think a group of chain restaurants.

Consistently good at Cote Brasserie, Winchester - that's why we keep going back! Interesting menu with lots of delicious things, friendly efficient staff, and very good prices. Can't ask for more!

We went for breakfast. Food was good but waited ages to get toast despite several apologies. Then despite this, we were hit with a 12.5% service charge!

Fabulous food and people and atmos. Glorious rosé, delicious chicken parfait and the haddock was superb. I had lamb chops cooked to perfection with roquefort butter. Super decor too. Waitress was polite, friendly and unobtrusive.

Very pleasant restaurant in the heart of Winchester. All four of us had different choices and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely visit again.

A pleasant ambience, Excellent service, Solid menu, Sensibly priced. A good main course, glass of wine and the standard 12.5% service included for about GBP17.

Good food well presented, excellent service and a genuine French ambiance. Only very minor downside was the centre-pedestal table which doesn't leave much foot room.

Very good a tasty food, service was at a good speed didn't feel rushed but also didn't wait long, menu had a good selection and reasonable price. Overall good place to eat.

the waiting personnel was polite and efficient, making small suggestion on the food available that night. Pleasant evening and suppose at being an early setting the restaurant was just enough full to receive plenty attention. Most times we have luncheon or evening meal we have not been disappointed.

One of our regular restuarants and continues to be good food and good service. Early evening weekday menus are particularly good value and tempts us to eat out rather than cook.

Delicious food and good service. Busy atmosphere. Centrally located to the high street and station. Highly recommend and worth a visit. Looking forward to the next time!

Fabulous restaurant, lovely atmosphere and great service from great staff. Really good choice on menu and even the midweek, pre 7pm set menu ( 3 courses £12.95) has a decent variety. Most importantly though the quality of the food is awesome! My new favourite place, highly recommended!

Good service we didn't have to wait ages the staff were very polite and friendly,value for money not bad but as always the drinks push up the bill. Overall a very pleasant meal experience

Very good lunch today the belly pork was delicious and my fellow diners enjoyed the haddock . Service very pleasant and efficient despite the restaurant being extremely busy.

Very friendly and efficient staff and excellent food - you pay for what you get but with two teenagers eating adult meals it continues to be a treat. A nice experience.

The core brasserie in Winchester was great. We received fantastic service and the food was delicious. There was just the right amount of time between courses and the waitresses were very attentive to our children.

Our second visit to Côte in Winchester and overall pretty disappointing. Food was average, the staff whilst polite were clearly over-stretched and service pretty non-existent.
