A great evening of good food, wine & excellent service from very friendly staff. It was our first visit it will not be our last.

Everything very good, food and staff. Only negative was air conditioner above us which made it rather cold, my wife had to put her coat back on.

Very good service from friendly, smiling waiting staff. We enjoyed our food from the set menu and it was very good value. We will definitely come again.

Service was excellent. However menu could have more variety, but the food was nice! Only thing that let the experience down was another couple being rude next to us.

What I like about Cote is that every time we go, and we have been regularly, the food is always of really good and dependable quality. It consistently outperforms all other restaurant chains in this area.

Côte is a reliable chain of brasseries that we came across a few years ago, and visit the Winchester branch regularly. The 10th birthday menu was excellent. Please put the crottin salad back on the regular menu!

The food was excellent as always, the staff friendly and efficient. The reason I have marked my experience as a four was because of where we were seated - directly opposite the bar/coffee machine area on a table for two. This was also the area where cutlery is stored and plates/cups etc. it was SO noisy, on occasions we couldn't hear each other speak. The staff are busy and need to clear tables, restock the cutlery etc but I think they were unaware how much noise they were making., avoid sitting in this area if you book however I am a huge fan of cote brasserie and the food is consistently very good and great value

Really enjoyed food but the noise levels were extreme,I do not think we will visit again on a Saturday it was impossible to have any conversation and very intrusive.

We had a lovely lunch, attentive staff & very good food as usual. We came into Winchester from the station & turned down High St to start with. Walked down to King Alfred statue before we realized we'd gone in the wrong direction on High St!

Had a really good time and we all enjoyed our food. Service was attentative and friendly and we felt the portion size was larger than on previous visits.

We had the set menu and everything we both had was delicious. Excellent service...no complaints at all. Will be returning soon. Very,very yummy! Thank you

Pleasant location near the Great Hall, friendly staff who were very helpful, attentive but not intrusive and the food was up to the standard expected.

Cote is always very good. The set menu is excellent value and the portions are generous. As always, the staff are courteous and efficient. Food is served in a timely fashion and hot meals are served on hot plates; this doesn't happen elsewhere and it should.

Good place to meet6 friends from both east of Winchester as well as East of the town. Very relaxed atmosphere which allows for a meal where it is conducive to chat the evening away.

The food as ever was excellent and the service friendly but unobtrusive. This has become our favourite restaurant in Winchester which is saying something as there are many good restaurants

Food and service were great . Can recommend the steak and frites in particular.The restaurant is large with plenty of space between tables so high degree of privacy.

A great 'buzzing' atmosphere, friendly and good service. Delicious food. A good choice of venue to celebrate a twenty first birthday with all the family

Very good service but food a bit uninspired but atmosphere and location excellent . Quite good value having said that . Would go again for a large group no problem.

Super food, attentive service. Lacking in atmosphere but that was due to our requirements, table booked for 3.45 and following a busy lunch service, our table wasn't ready and as were were the only diners, the usual atmosphere was lacking

Lovely restaurant with very friendly staff. Lots of choice and some traditional French food you don't often see. Good children's menu and very good with the kids (which it didn't look like from the outside) though no activities for the kids so maybe bring your own coloring if you have them. Much bigger restaurant than it looks from the outside.

We came for the lunch time set menu, a good choice, excellent value and great service. Always impressed with the quality of food and the service at the restaurant
