Cowshed - Liverpool

A lovely intimate restaurant with very knowledge & friendly staff. A great location for those who enjoy their carnivorous tendencies. Servings are just right, as it’s all about the steak, so why spoil it with anything else. Definitely on the short list for another visit.

Great little place, tucked away. The food is excellent and the service is very friendly. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Liverpool.

Consistenlty good! We've eaten here three times and it never disappoints. The "Greedy Cow" is a great way to try the different steaks on offer. Their fries are amazing. The staff is friendly and provide great service. I would definitely recommend it.

Really Friendly staff, fabulous food and reasonable priced drinks. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and the cabbage/chorizo side dish was amazing! A lovely restaurant with a nice quirky atmosphere.

A small but great menu and the food was delicious. Staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Cosy, intimate setting. I would very much recommend this restaurant!

First time at Cowshed and they nailed it. Delicious steak and friendly helpful service. Particularly liked the ribeye steak and the Savoy cabbage with green beans side - delicious!

Lovely staff and great food. We had The Greedy Cow (s) to share which was great value and cooked to perfection. If we return to Liverpool will definitely go back.

Great steak restaurant! This was my first time at Cowshed and I'll definitely be going back. Cozy set up, great service and excellent food. And really good value for money considering the quality of the food. Much better than CAU! Definitely have you're steak cooked to the recommendations on the menu, they cook it perfectly! We got the Greedy Cow, you get three different steaks to share with two sides and two sauces, definitely the best option I'd say!

Lovely food well cooked steaks, mac and cheese starter was amazing. Also peppercorn sauce was a definite plus point. Downsides poor choice of wine by the glass and very poor choice if your a rose drinker.

The food was top notch once again - a few glitches with service/ordering, but nothing that wasn't dealt with in a charming fashion and put right. Great food and surroundings and fabulous value.

Excellent booking process and the service was as good as always. Could not fault the food and wine and will be back again soon. Can recommend highly

Fantastic steaks with very good sides - took the cabbage and squash and both were very well cooked and flavoursome to compliment the beef. Highly recommended for adult steak lovers. Booking a good idea as not so large.

Great crostini and macaroni cheese starters, Best fillet steak and fries 🥩, great red wine flollowed by cocktails 🍸 try the espresso martini , we will be back

Had a really nice night at Cowshed and that was even before the food arrived. Nice chilled atmosphere, staff were helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and to top it off the food was delish. steaks cooked just right as requested and sides were all nice particularly the pepper sauce and garlic mushrooms. Will be back again soon.

Four of us went for dinner here on Friday evening. We couldn't fault the food or the service. We shared a couple of starters then had 2 of the sharing boards. The Malbec/Shiraz wine was very nice and a reasonable price.

Cowshed is everything you want in a restaurant. A lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, great selection of drink and the steak, wow. Best steak we have eaten in Liverpool. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Not a massive steak fan but this place completely changed my mind, well cooked and full of flavor plus Jazz our waitress was really friendly and great with my son.

Great evening in a group of 6. Fabulous food with perfectly cooked steaks and complementing side dishes. Unhurried but professional and courteous service made this a memorable night.

We're are up from Leicester for my birthday weekend, booked because we saw the website and looked fantastic, we were not disappointed! We had an early table booked (as I wanted to watch the Leicester match at 8pm!) we arrived early and were offered our table straight away or to have a drink at the bar. We decided to have a drink first and the choice of cocktails was great. Very friendly service as soon as we walked in. We were shown to our table and the menus were already on the table (lovely touch). We were offered more drinks first which arrived swiftly and then proceeded to order, we were both sold by the special of the evening which sounded amazing, we had the Mac and cheese croquets to start which were fantastic (the sauce was beautiful) and then followed by the fillet special. I have to say the fillet steak absolutely melted in the mouth and the sauce was beautiful! We then decided that we had room to share a banoffee cheesecake which was delicious. Our waiters and waitresses were all very friendly and seemed very happy to talk to us and have a laugh and a joke! Overall a fantastic evening, service was great, food amazing and a really nice atmosphere, will recommend to anyone that visits Liverpool. Thank you for a great night!

Where the steak is as good as the sides you know you’ve found a gem!! Was so excited to take my award winning chef boyfriend for his birthday, he loved it! And the staff really top it off!

Excellent service, perfectly cooked steaks with lovely accompaniments. A hidden gem of a place. Highly recommend to anyone who loved their beef. The greedy cow platter was a real treat for two and was the perfect size for sharing.

First time visiting Cowshed and I have to say I loved it, the staff were so friendly and attentive. I ordered the halloumi bites, they were that good I was sad when I inhaled them all in 0.2 seconds! I had the rump steak with waffles and eggs, weird combo I know but it really works! I would recommend this place to anyone - particularly if they like steaks

A short walk from liverpool one but well worth it. Great place, food superb, service excellent. If you love steak you'll live this place and reasonably priced. Highly recommend
