Best steak ever and fantastic customer service. Me and my boyfriend have found our new favourite place. The way the restaurant looks is lovely and very welcoming

steaks are average, get what you pay for really with the flat iron. Maybe the other ones would be of better quality. Service was okay, empty room and took a while to be cleared. Would go again to try other things on the menu.

Excellent piping hot food, steaks were delicious and so were the sides! Excellent value for money. Excellent Service from all staff. Very pleasant atmosphere would definitely recommend.

Staff are very helpful and can’t fault the staff. They’re really nice. From start of the meal up to the end, the staff are very courteous.

We had a lovely evening at Cowshed - great setting, lovely ambiance with friendly, helpful staff and we enjoyed all the food and cocktails, too.

Friendly professional waiter. Food was underwhelming and mediocre, did not stay for dessert as guessing it would have been blah blah blah too....sorry Cowshed but you need to try harder!

Faultless, super team bringing us well made cocktails, great wine list and the food was delicious. The macaroni croquettes and halloumi sesame bites as entree’s are brilliant. I enjoyed one of the specials- a fillet done to absolute perfection served with blue cheese fondant potatoes and veg with a shiny bone marrow glaze sauce, my husband devoured a perfectly executed rib eye steak. The fries are great and there’s a good range of sides and sauces. We had a brilliant night here and the restaurant is clean and well arranged with a mix of booths and traditional tables gives it a feeling of space which is tastefully decorated, it’s the perfect date or celebration venue. Had a great meal here with family. Everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A gem of a steak place. Glad we found it. Can highly recommend it if steak is what you want.

Excellent meal and service . Steak cooked to perfection Deserts top rate especially the Bread and Butter pudding the Nutella cheese cake was so delicious it was not possible to have a shared spoonful

Great restaurant and amazing food. We ordered the shared steak dish which came with sides including two sauces, fries and mushrooms. All perfectly cooked! Would definitely visit again.

They really know their stuff, small menu, well done. If you don’t want steak, don’t go! Fantastic experience all round- staff excellent and extremely helpful.

Can always rely on this place for special service and even better food! The weekly specials never disappoint, good variety of options and drink selection too.

Very welcoming friendly staff and fast service and food cooked to perfection ! Really nice atmosphere and chilled out will definitely eat there again. A bit a la’carte for a steakhouse but still great food.

Great service, really friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great food, good choice of steaks at a wide price range, something for everyone. Excellent side dishes too. Worth a visit, you won't be disappointed.

I have experienced steaks all over the world and the cowshed is up there with the very best. By far the best steak in the UK / Europe.

We had a fabulous meal staff were lovely, very attentive & very helpful, took the waiters advice on the cooking of the steaks they were delicious. First time here based on recommendation & we will definitely be back. We were celebrating our 30th Anniversary & it was a perfect evening..thank you

Lovely halloumi appetisers and although our steaks were ok didn't enjoy as much as in previous visits. Nevertheless we would return. Good service as always and quality wine.

One if the best steaks I’ve ever eaten, would never have put waffles and egg with a steak but it works wonderfully. Thank you guys.

Cowshed is a fab restaurant. The steak is the best we have had in a long time. Cooked to perfection and the side dishes are just as delicious!

My wife and I had the 3 steaks on one plate deal, along with fries, mushrooms and cabbage side dishes. The food and service was excellent. I am happy to recommend it.

First time here Our waiter was very friendly and talkative. Cocktails were the best iv had thou very pricey for the size of them. Stake spot on. Only reason i have not givin 5 stars is cocktail prices and ther was a small mistake on our bill.

There isnt very much on the menu, but everything we had was delicious! Perfect steak and the haloumi bites were amazing. Excellent service. Highly recommended

Nice venue, nice food, pleasant staff. The place was clean, you were not squashed in on top of each other and the music was to our taste. Considering the restaurant only serve steak, we expected to be bowled over by the steaks.........we weren’t which was a shame. We had appetisers which we were told would overlap with the main course. Understanding this we were surprised when the main came out for the waitress to take the unfinished appetiser away! We then had the greedy cow between us, 3 types of steak, 2 already cut up for you. The food was nicely presented not too arty and they were reasonable size portions. I thought the steak was a bit cool (I know it has to rest before being served) but it still could have been hotter. The veg and other sides were all lovely and hot though. I would recommend the venue, hubby wouldn’t, but I won’t be rushing back.

I love this restaurant! Everything about it - The food obviously, but also the music the atmosphere and the wait staff, all incredible! Our waiter Ru (I am not sure of spelling) has been our waiter everytime we've visited and he's just the best. I'd recommend Cowshed to anyone and everyone, can't wait to go back!

Food was lovely and the man who served us was sound he helped us a lot and we had a good conversation. We will be going again!

Absolutely wonderful food in a pleasant atmosphere served by lovely people. The sirloin steak served with curly kale was delightful and the bread and butter pudding was exceptional.

Amazing ambience, food and service. We had the garlic bolting and macaroni cheese croquettes to start and then the Greedy Cow platter to share. All the steaks were melt in the mouth, especially the flat iron! 100% recommend and will return.

expensive for what it was. quality of steak not great. cocktails quite good. there are better alternatives for the same money or less in liverpool

Nice and cozy atmosphere. Friendly waiters and good service. Varied and tasty side dishes. Avoid the rib-eye as it is not very tender and with too many tendons.

This restaurant is incredible. If you love meat this is the place to go to. Me and my boyfriend had the rump and the ribeye and both were absolutely incredible. Starters and sides equally beautiful and the service was so friendly and funny we just had such a good time. Perfect.

Wonderfully cooked steak, a superb and friendly service and a great playlist to listen to. We spent just 24 hours in Liverpool and we are so glad we chose the Cowshed.

Excellent meal & service. The menu was mostly Cow of course! Fabulous steaks and tasty side dishes. We all had the Nutella cheesecake which was delish! Cozy venue the dining area was free from the usual hustle and bustle of a restaurant.The building is really homely with an interesting rooms of the house with historical pictures of cows which made it feel cosy and quaint. We enjoyed a family meal for our sons birthday! We will recommend and definitely go there again!

Our first visit to this restaurant. I was very impressed with both the standard of food and the service especially on a busy Saturday night. We had three different steak courses and all were excellent. Visiting Liverpool for the weekend and would certainly return to this restaurant on our next visit to the city. 10 out of 10.

Tasty food and good service. Bread and butter pudding was amazing! Need to book a bit in advance as spaces get filled up. Would recommend!
