Cowshed - Liverpool

The staff at Cowshed are wonderful, very attentive and even moved round spme tables as we were running late so we weren't rushed off. They even brought uscl complimentary shots as we were celebrating! The food is tasty and fairly priced. We had mac and cheese croquetts for a starter and these were delicious! We followed this by sharing the Greedy Cow which allows you to sample three cuts of steak each 8oz. On the side we had the mushrooms and cabbage and green beans in a creamy sauce. These were detectable but I was a little underwhelmed with the side of butternut squash, it was a bit soggy and would have been nice crisper. We shared the nutella panacotta which was nice to try but I wouldn't order it again. All together with alcohol the bill came to around £80 which was very reasonable.

the food was gorgeous, very reasonably priced, all of the staff were very lovely and super helpful. i would definitely recommend for a enjoyable meal.

Best steak we have eaten in years and thoroughly enjoyed the macaroni cheese croquet. Vegetable selection limited but good - cabbage and green beans with chorizo cream fantastic

Fab venue, fab food and a super atmosphere, a real hidden gem!!! We are always nervous about going to a Steak house as they have a tendency to be over priced, but not this one the delicious food in a relaxed contemporary atmosphere combined with very attentive waiting staff results in a superb experience at a reasonable price!! Well worth a visit!!

Amazing steaks (and fries!). We've already been three times, we have ordered the Greedy Cow every time and the quality has been consistently excellent. Very friendly staff and lovely location.

Really great steak restaurant in Liverpool. We got the sharing board with three different steaks plus sides and was perfect for two of us to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday.

No wonder it’s number one! Hard to find but perfect. Fillet steak, waffles, eggs, fries. Drool. Service also spot on. Can’t recommend enough. Go to cowshed!

Brilliant meal - the special is worth the extra pennies as are the starters. If your into your steak this is the place for you!

The Biltong starter was really fantastic (piri piri). Very sharp steak knives not really necessary as meat so tender. Good service; Good food; amazing weather....well it does make a difference!

Second visit to The Cowshed was just as good as the first - if not better! Very friendly staff, fantastic service and outstanding food. I doubt there's anywhere in the city that does a better fillet steak than The Cowshed.

I cannot fault in any way. Absolutely delicious, potentially the best food I have ever eaten. Great staff too. Not badly priced. Couldn’t have enjoyed more.

We visited Liverpool for weekend. Had to book this in advanced. But it was well worth it. Great staff great food great atmosphere. We just loved it. Would def go back.

This was our first visit to Liverpool. The steak at cowshed is absolutely perfect, the rest of the meal delicious too. Our waiter was lovely and gave us some excellent tips for great cocktail bar to go to just round the corner from the restaurant. Very friendly relaxed atmosphere, would highly recommend.

A deceptively well-appointed establishment where, from the outside, looks like something from Dickin's (in a good way). And utilises the space inside very efficiently. Great food, very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Would love to go back soon.

Steaks at the Cowshed Liverpool. Everything was great. We had the 8oz and 12 oz ribeye. It’s a tiny restaurant and it’s recommended to make a reservation.

Lovely Food, Great Service and really good location in the center of Liverpool. A lot of good bars close by for a drink after, would highly recommend.

Everything is ridiculously good! The staff are super helpful and friendly, the food is incredible and the cocktails are delicious. Would absolutely recommend to everyone!

Steak not seasoned & not allowed to rest. Had to use my napkin to mop up the blood on the plate! Shiraz very nice and friendly staff but all felt a little rushed.

I enjoyed my experience at the Cowshed overall. The setting was verr nice, the beef looked better than it tasted, but the sides/garnish were impeccable; would recommend mushrooms and bone marrow.

Lovely food and cocktails!! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Had a night for our sons 21 birthday, staff annoyed we did not tell them at beginning of the night, gave him a free shot and my other son who was also celebrating his birthday. Recommend

Booked this place after reading reviews, have to say we weren’t dissappinted. Staff polite and attentive. Cosy room with only a few tables. We had the greedy cow which was delicious.The cabbagd and bean in cream was divine.

Loved it! My second time here and it didn’t disappoint. Steak that it is just to die for. I love the simplicity of the menu which puts the steak at the heart of it. Can not wait to go back!
