I loved it, great atmosphere and staff. I got the rump cooked medium which was delicious! Prosecco went down nicely too! Thank you Cowshed :)

Great food and wine! The 'Greedy Cows' plate was great and all the steaks were cooked very well. Bone marrow, mash and the carrots were also great sides.

Excellent steaks cooked to perfection. Great ambiance and very efficient service. Very good wine list. Quite a short menu but carefully devised and reasonably priced. A winning formula.

Friendly staff, fab food, the flat iron was on the tough side though. Had deep fried halloumi and garlic mushrooms, which was delicious. Reasonably priced.

Best fillet steak, staff are so welcoming and friendly. Shame there isn't a cowshed in London. Will book when I return again to Liverpool. Fab!

Wonderful Evening, un rushed, reasonably priced wine , best tasting steaks, great professional service too ... I had the rib eye my wife had the fillet both melted in the mouth . Booked online even better .....

We had a really good time at the Cowshed. The two of us shared the greedy cows main. Whilst mine was amazing my mum’s unfortunately contained a lot of gristle however the staff at the Cowshed couldn’t have been more helpful to rectify the situation. Would definitely make a returning trip to this gem.

Awesome food and excellent service. Can't recommend enough even the sides were lovely. Decent portions and nice selection of wines. We will definitely be going again.

Great steak and the chips were also excellent! We had kinder cheesecake for our dessert, and that completed the delight of an evening! Good job Cow Shed!

Really good steak. Amazing atmosphere. The pepper sauce made an amazing sauce for the steak. We also had a small amount of room for desser- amazing!

A lovely restaurant set in an old Victorian house where we had our table in which looked like an old bedroom. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!!! 😀

Lovely food great atmosphere and staff. Felt a little rushed as we had our main brought out while the starter plates were still on the table and my husband was about to eat the last bit of the starter. Apart from that great food and really nice staff

Food was absolutely brilliant. Starters were great, steak was just to my liking. Sauce and sides were also fantastic. Highly reccomend a visit and will be going back for sure.

I could not fault the food! Steak was cooked to perfection and halloumi fingers are highly reccommended for starters. The only downside was the place was quite cold and also the banging and drilling from downstairs building work was rather annoying. Although we were pre-warned about this when we arrived. But overall good food, nice place and I have already booked to come back!

Everything was excellent for my wife and I; ambience, relaxed professional service, great food. Personally I would have liked my steak slightly more seasoned but that is my only qualm. Delicious!

First time we had been to the cowshed and we were not let down staff were helpful and recommended the meal we had which was steak with the trimmings cooked perfectly would go again

Steak was brilliant, as was the customer service and atmosphere. Just think could have done with a few more potatoes supplied with the fillet special that we ordered.

This was the first time we'd been to Cowshed and we would definitely recommend and return. The food was excellent and staff very friendly. Give it a go!

We had booked a table for 830 and had tmpish it back as we had been delayed arriving through late trains. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We had had a few drinks before arriving and weren't very hungry. We had the macaroni croquets for starter and they were amazing. We had the greedy cow amongst us and it was delicious. My friends had asked for medium rare but found it to be rather tough. The sides ( fries and carrots) were delicious as were the sauces. I would definitely recommend and the staff are a credit to the restaurant x

Cowshed's table service is quick, although we felt a bit like we got rushed out of our table after dessert or we had to order another drink to stay. Portions are large and taste is really nice!

Beautiful food. Gorgeous restaurant. Amazing staff. All in all, an 10 out of 10 experience and I would recommend it to anyone! Mine and my other half’s stakes were cooked to perfection!

Amazing food and service. Very quick turnaround on ordering and the food arriving. Meat perfectly cooked, only small constructive criticism is the lighting in the room was too bright to start with but they eventually brought that down. Staff made my girlfriends birthday meal perfect. Highly recommend

We had an excellent night with friends, the staff made us feel so welcome and food was superb, steaks cooked to perfection, melt in the mouth.

Really lovely restaurant with lots of rooms, all affording a fairly intimate dining experience. The staff were lovely and the food was fantastic, definitely worth a visit. You’ll need to book way in advance though if you want a prime time slot on Friday/Saturday as they seem to get snapped up fast. I’ll definitely be heading back there again at some point in the near future!

Lovely food, friendly service and reasonable price for steak. No complaints here! Haloumi sticks are amazing and the fillet steak was very tasty too. I'd happily eat there again.
