We were thoroughly impressed with this place and can see why they have such good reviews! The food was incredible, the waiters were all very friendly and helpful and the setting is beautiful. The restaurant was full but it wasn't loud. Next time I'm in Edinburgh, I'll be going back!

Lovely meal created with subtle herbs and spices. Try the carrot desert it's a great way to finish the meal. Our hosts were really attentive and friendly. If I lived locally and not 500 miles away I would be regular.

Das Gurkha bietet sehr gutes, frisch gekochtes und schmackhaftes Essen aus der Indischen und Nepalesischen Küche. Wir lieben das Essen dort. Der Service ist einwandfrei und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir sind öfters in Edinburgh und gehen jedes Mal dort essen. Wir können das Restaurant gerne weiterempfehlen.

This was our first visit here & it won't be the last. Before our booking they realised they were running over so called to inform me & ask would I mind making the booking 15mins later,this I thought was v.thoughtful,once our table became available it was promptly cleared & we were able to be seated. Food was great no long waiting time,staff polite & friendly.
