Remarkable food and great service. Wine was also noteworthy. Neighbourhood gem!
Amazing food and environment!! We will definitely go back :)
The food was exceptional and the place was very nice (a bit too empty tonight but not their fault). The terrace looks insane. A real good address.
Lovely table , service , delicious and creative dinner dishes , excellent wines . A fine mother ‘s day dinner .
Great service and ambience ! And of course food is super
Excellent food but service so so. The waiters were nice but they completely failed to bring the drinks at the right time. We ordered some olives with a Negroni as appetizers. They both arrived after a long time, maybe 40 minutes. A couple of minutes later we were served the first courses(pasta). Clearly we hadn't finished with the appetizers then, not to mention that we had ordered some red wine to go with the pasta, which didn't arrive at the right time. We explained this to the waitress, and had to insist, then they offered to bring the pasta later, which we appreciated. The pasta arrives later, with the wine. Then we had second courses. Finally, we ordered some dessert with vin Santo to go with it The dessert arrived ok, but the vin Santo only arrived once we had finished the dessert, so we had to decline it. Disappointing experience particularly considering that the food was excellent and we expected the staff to know better about combining food with drinks.
Excellent food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. To be recommended.
This restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants in London.
Excellent family run restaurant. Great food and love the wine from their family owned vineyard!
Whilst the starters were nice, the main courses lacked flavour, uncharacteristically for this restaurant. The service was also very slow.
This restaurant is a magic place with high quality food!
As usual it was good but they didn’t have the pumpkin soup which is one of the best things on their menu during the winter season, so it was a bit disappointing .
excellent authentic food served by professional friendly staff in a lovely restaurant
The most delicious pasta and main courses and wine and perfect service. Can’t wait to be back. Thank you.
Nice decor, good food and service :-) very limited parking, use public transport
In spite of a quiet night the staff as always were lovely and cheerful and food was great. as it always is.
Very good traditional Italian food, good service and great location.
Lovely food, good atmosphere and excellent service with a smile.
Loved the food and plating. Excellent service and super cosy atmosphere
My fav Italian restaurant in the whole of London hands down
As usual great food experience and friendly staff! It is good to be back!
I love this restaurant, and will continue coming back. The food is the best in London town!
Excellent food and ambience. We loved the quality of the ingredients.
We are frequent visitors and are always very satisfied customers.
Love it! Amazing food and service and atmosphere! Definitely coming back
Hands down my favourite restaurant. The food is exceptional and the service is too. Love it!
Il trillo is an amazing place for dinner, and the food is very tasteful!
Great food but the service was really not good. They decided to stick all the people together (maybe it’s easier to serve them?) so half of the room was packed and half empty... that’s ridiculous
Lovely little restaurant with delicious ,obviously home made food and the most charming , helpful service. Merry Christmas to them.
Amazing italian food at his best from a family that is coming from a high tradition in making excellent wine near Massa. For me one of the few real italian restaurant in London !
As always, a great experience. Roberto is an amazing host.
It was excellent!!! We had a great Dinner! Thanks to Il Trillo
Consistently the best Italian restaurant in London. Everything was perfect.
Excellent food and beautiful atmosphere. Only negative was a slow service but staff was lovely nonetheless.
Good food quality, good price, nice & clay decoration. Service, although good, could be a little bit more improved.
This authentic Tuscan place never disappoints. The hardest bit is to choose from the menu... unlike other Italian places, here the portions are not huge, so it is still humanly possible to go antipasti+primi+secondi+dolci... but one is very full, albeit very happy, after that! Great wines and service, too. Hard to fault!
Great food, service and ambiance Fantastic wine list A neighborhood favorite
Unfortunately, my experience at Il Trillo was negative. In my opinion, the food was very poor and unjustifiably expensive; the chargrilled vegetables (starter) lacked flavour; the fillet steak had an odd texture as if it had been frozen and defrosted, it was dry and utterly tasteless (and cost £33). The foie gras on top of the steak was surely an error - it melted down the side of the steak and looked like congealed vomit. Somehow, even the foie gras was tasteless. I left some of the steak and told the waitress the issues, only to be totally ignored! Anywhere else and they may have offered me the option of another dish or at least a coffee on the house! My husband then managed to spill his £22 glass of wine all over himself, to which they said they only had something that could help clean a small area. Again, we were left without help. Finally, whilst the atmosphere was lively, we were unfortunately seated near the window and right below a huge coffee machine which whirred away noisily whilst in use. The tables were too close together and I felt uncomfortable being able to hear my neighbours' conversations. Would I go again? Never. I can think of many better ways to spend £240 than at Trillo (the cost of meal for two).
