excellent as ever. The service.is rapid but never rushed, the food is excellent with generous portions and you get super value for money

Last minute book8ng. Restaurant not very busy probably due to people staying home at the moment. Good service and food but not much atmosphere due to being fairly quite.

I go here often and the food is always great and the waiters/waitresses are always friendly even on a busy day.

Lovely brunch on Sunday morning. Food was nice, I had the Forager and apart from the beans it was really nice. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

The food was excellent. I felt that the tables were a little too close together - fine when the restaurant is quiet but could make it a bit noisy and cramped at a busy time.

The waitress might have been new because she seemed to be confused with how ordering works - e.g. she said we had to order in a specific order and made us all very confused. She kept coming over and looking over our shoulders as we ate (which is good if we needed help, but we didn't) and would have been nice to have our privacy for at least 10 minutes without her coming over all the time. My prawn pasta wasn't that flavourful and was quite wet - definitely not worth the £14 I paid for it.

Food was great as usual and wasn’t too busy so had our favourite seat by the window to look out across the river. Thank you for the excellent service and for ringing me when I left my handbag, very kind and highly appreciated!

I've been there a few times over the years and always really enjoyed the food, but the quality has gone down hill now and I'm not sure I will be going again. The bbq platter was all just fat, I specifically requested no butter on my steak because I'm lactose intolerant and it came with a big slab if butter on top, the broccoli has gone from being really interesting to.bland.

We arrived early but were seated quickly and in a place with plenty of room for a high chair. The food came quickly and was delicious

This restaurant is located by the river and it has lovely views. We were given a window seat area which we had asked for and that very nice and accommodating of them. My only complaint was that the chicken in the grilled chicken burger that we ordered was not very nice. It felt like it had been poached beforehand and then thrown into a grill pan to look like it's been grilled and it was chewy and unpleasant. I had specifically asked for mine to be grilled as I am fussy when it comes to chicken so it was quite disappointing. Service was a bit slow too although out waitress was very lovely.

Our waitress, Rachel, was incredibly nice, helpful and friendly. Previous service from other staff has at times been questionable and made me reluctant to return, but Rachel’s service today has made me more likely to return. All the difference in experience.

It was thoroughly mediocre. Steak was very average. The decoration was very dated and the plates were something you would see in a local chippy. Average.

Great dining experience as always. Love the huevos rancheros and buttermilk chicken.

Good service with good food. Caramelised Banana pancakes for one and good old Steak and Eggs for the other. Lovely table for two looking out on the river, nice coffee and hot chocolate. We will be back
