food was good although they didn't have everything on the menu and staff didn't appear to think that it was poor and took little accountability for it.
Great service and quality food. Would recommend. Lovely location near the river and perfect for a summer's day. The brunch menu was really impressive and had a wide selection.
We had to wait for 58 minutes for our food and when they brought the food out it was not what we expected it to be. The restaurant manager felt really bad and he offered us dessert. Overall we were all disappointed and I don't think we go back there again.
approx. 6 things on the menu were unavailable and the wait for the food was really long, over 30 mins for salad and salmon. Not the place for lunch when working :(
Nice setting but the restaurant is "ageing". Food is ok. They could add a bit more creativity to the dishes as it appears a bit plain
The portion sizes here are just getting small and stingier. Firstly, the food arrived very quickly - so quickly that you know it had been precooked and was just being held. The 'bubble chicken looked overdone and was quite dry. It was also very small pieces. This dish (priced at £12.75) said it came with coleslaw - it did but it must have been a teaspoon full on a small lettuce leaf. They used to serve their coleslaw in large tubs and you got a lot! They also serve this on a large oval plate so it makes the food look even stingier. This is a really cynical way of cutting costs. This dish is just not worth £12.75 It's a shame about this place because we have always loved their food but yesterday showed that after their big success, they start cutting down portions. Will certainly think twice about coming here again.
Lovely service. Nice food but small portions. One great cocktail and one not so nice. All in all a very nice evening with good value for money.
Great for brunch! Lots of good choices on menu, but we would love to see a kids brunch menu too! An enjoyable Father's Day meal, thank you!
Went there are on Saturday with some friends and had a lovely evening. Waiter was amazing and made the experience extra special. Food was wonderful, lovely atmosphere and in a great location. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately breakfast was not great. Lots of items forgotten and there was only 2 of us. Sausage patty was a bit pink and strange tasting and toast rock hard.
Friendly and superbly attentive knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Knowledgeable staff. Gorgeous location for a sunny summer's day overlooking the river. Chilled beer glass. Tasty food. All round satisfaction and awesome.
First time I'd eaten here. Very good food and service. Staff couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. Will definitely come to this venue again.
The restaurant had nice atmosphere and it was great to be by the river. Good service. We had brunch and the food was ok but not anything special.
Rather noisy on a Saturday night, but good food and service, and I very much like the ambience. A good time was had by all!
Such friendly staff and good food. All arrived quickly considering we went on a busy Saturday night, even managed to get the bar to whip us up some cocktails which weren't on the menu. Restaurant has a friendly, casual atmosphere
Fabulous place, very friendly staff - helpful with my little one, bringing a high chair etc. Also super relaxed that we were at our table from 12 - 4...
The restaurant enjoys a nice setting, looking over the Thames, this was especially nice on a sunny morning. The staff were great (helpful, friendly) and the food was excellent.
brilliant food and fab service. We had the table by the window as requested and we were very happy. Everything was delicious as usual because we had been at the restaurant before
Food good but not brilliant - this is our forth visit so we can compare it with others- also waitress super enthusiastic and one waiter very offhand and grumpy. Love the position with views of river so we are always keen to come back- have had better experience in the past
Attentive staff and great location. Menu limited on vegetarian and lighter food - all a bit deep fried. Side salad wilted and inedible. Hand drip coffee turned out to be very good.
It was a pleasant experience with a lovely table by the window with a great view. The kids enjoyed the corn dogs. It was busy with a nice atmosphere.
A great evening sitting outside looking over the river. You can't book for outside but did not need to wait for long for an outside table.
Really classy place, fantastic service (they thought to provide maple syrup when they saw I had ordered a side of bacon), beautiful view over the Thames and fantastic food! Recommend the pancakes and the eggs if you're going for brunch :)
The food was delicious and the service was speedy and attentive. We thought the children's menu was excellent and very good value. We'll return to try more cocktails next time!
Food was OK when it came, they had run out of bread, service was very slow as the restaurant was under-staffed, we ended up chasing waiters around the room trying to get cutlery, water, wine etc
Staff were helpful and quick on a heatwave morning for birthday brunch. We sat outside but the chance was offered to migrate inside to the air-con tables. Food was good, drinks refreshing. Would go again and recommend.
Excellent atmosphere , food and service . Although it was busy and very warm , we did not feel overpowered . We had a lovely evening .
lovely restaurant overlooking river at Richmond. service and attention very good. Food was good - we both had hamburgers that were cooked exceptionally well and very moist inside. the chips were also very good, WINE was very good - all in all a good inexpensive restaurant in nice surroundings.
Great food and atmosphere. Amazing location right on the Thames river. Will go again for sure. Small error on the bill but overall can't fault it
Amazing setting with excellent service and excellent food. Service was quick even on a Saturday lunchtime! Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Truly enjoyable !
This was a fantastic night. Amazing food and spectacular service - thank you so much! We will definitely be coming back some time very soon.
Attentive staff, willing to cook to order /switch out menu choices, nice kids menu also- great to see salmon & veg on a kids menu for a change!! Booking was a smooth process. Would definitely go back!
We went for the set menu which was very good value. The portions were big and the food very tasty. The service is excellent, very attentive and helpful even when it's busy.
The staff here were really nice, the food was okay but nothing particularly special although service was quick. The music was far too loud though which was a shame.
Good service and buzzy atmosphere. Food took a while to arrive but was good when it came. Nice tables outside for a warm evening. Good for all ages.
A decent brunch at Jackson + Rye in Richmond, although not as good as previous trips. The service was on the slow side which was surprising as it wasn't particularly busy. Food was good.
Visited on a Sat night with a friend, it serves good food and the staff were very accommodating. We'll definitely be back, as the drinks at the bar were good too!
This was my first visit, going on recommendation from a friend. It was really good. The food was very nice but for me it was the cheery welcome and friendly staff which did it for me. And of course the view!
What a wonderful team! Completely accommodating. Excellent venue! We went there after our civil wedding service and they had run out of pancakes. We had in our mind that this was our first meal post the service and as we had already ordered a bottle of champagne, the manager applogised by not charging us for it. A completely generous move that kept our spirits very high! Thanks so much guys, we'll definitely be back.
Food and service were both very good and the location of the restaurant is great, being right on the river. The rib eye steak that I ordered was one of the best I have ever had.
Nice view and good atmosphere, service ok if a little slow to be seated, food average. My chicken was a little burnt and the portion was small.
Delicious food, helpful staff, and we weren't pushed out when we'd finished so we didn't have to break off mid conversation. Standards consistent with previous visits, thank you.
Many menu items not available (even at 1230), not told when we arrived and only found out when advised at point of ordering. Service was very slow for each course.
We ordered just one course and Food took ages to come out and when it did my steak was over done and had to send it back
Great food and exceptional service from our waiter. We ordered the truffle mac and cheese, beef rib and my Mrs had the fillet steak, and perfect dessert with sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble!
Love Jackson & Rye. Shrimp burger is to die for. Service today was slower than normal - but busy - new staff on, attention to detail slower as well... but consistently good food.
Great ambience, service, and food. Romantic but also lovely. Cocktails delicious. Fun menu - not fine dining but good at what they do. Looking forward to going back.
Food was delicious. Lovely restaurant but due to the hot weather outside, they turned the air con up so much that I was freezing. We left early as I was just too cold and not enjoying myself anymore!
Friendly service, great atmosphere and great food. We had a meal of all starters (betwen four of us), and the waiters couldn't have been more helpful. Massively recommend the forrero rocher shooter for desert!
Great venue, great location, delicious food. Nice seating area both indoors and outdoors on the water, particularly stunning on a nice sunny day in Richmond. Lovely menu options, suitable for meat lovers and vegans alike.
