Consistently good food and service. The vegetarian breakfast is great and they are flexible with swapping items which is really helpful. Nice views of the river too.

Decent food and friendly waiting staff, but the main courses took over an hour to arrive. The restaurant ambience was nice but I’m not sure I would come back if it takes almost 2.5 hours to get through a 3 course meal.

Overall very poor service, due to not enough staff. No communication between the waiters, three different waiters traying to take our drinks orders. Had to wait 35 mins between starters and mains and then once finally finished with dessert, had to get up to get bill, then get up again to be able to pay. Did complain and the manager who was very nice and did discount our bill. Not had this experience here before, but never been on a busy Saturday night. Clearly understaffed tonight.

We had a great evening at Jackson & Rye last night. The food and wine were delicious and the service was perfect. The setting is lovely and the interior is very nicely done with a very calm yet slightly buzzy ambiance. We'll be going again.

Jackson+Rye is located a nice place of Richmond and has a lovely and friendly staff. We really loved the food as well. We have a lovely weekend over there and enjoyed a lot.

Given a nice window table, friendly staff, food good, my salmon was perfectly cooked. Only reason I didn't give top marks was that they had run out of the side dishes that came with the salmon and instead came with quinoa which was quite dry & nothing else. We all had different puds, which were lovely.

Good food and nice atmosphere, but there was a long wait to receive our starter - sourdough bread and butter! Reasonable prices and good location with views over the river.

I ordered the chicken burger for dinner and the bun was stale and the chicken was a tiny piece inside the bun which was about 1/4 size of the bun. It was an expensive bread meal, very disappointing considering I ordered a simple dish. Won't be ordering that again.

Nice setting overlooking the river - the decorations made it feel cozy, though it is a big space. We had a very helpful and attentive waiter (but not intrusive). Food was ok - the starters were better than the mains from our experience. Nice choice of cocktails, at regular (for London) prices. I'd probably go back more for the atmosphere than the food. But I can't speak for the full menu as I only partook in their Thanksgiving offerings.

Starter was fantastic. The main was terrible and the pudding worse. Service, location and atmosphere were lovely. If we had left after the starter it would have been perfect.

The location could not be better. A table overlooking the Thames at a reasonable price for the setting. However, the only problem was the food was very disappointing. Good location, good service - poor food

Service was great; had a bit of an issue with food in that 2x steaks and their gravy came out luke warm, however this was rectified without issue and we enjoyed the rest of our experience (including the Ferrero Rocher shots!).

This is a restaurant [and bar] that has all the right trappings of good food, a varied drinks list and efficient, friendly staff but doesn't take itself too seriously and responds warmly to customers needs of occasion and timings. Pretty ok pricing and of course an outstanding location.

Place was packed at 1200 on a match day, but service was still excellent! Steaks are out of this world, proper first date territory!

Lovely setting and staff however the food was disappointing. We all had the buttermilk chicken burger as a main, the chicken was lovely but was half of a small chicken breast, and the chips were chewy.

Not as great as advertised. Service was good, in time and polite. Food was cold, dry and not appealing; I had salmon (dry, reasonable size) with lentils (cold and not fresh, looked microwaved) and spinach as a side dish that was floating in salty cram sauce. Not coming back!

We have only had great experiences at Jackson & Rye. Lovely location especially if you have a window table. Great food and brilliant staff. I cannot recommend them highly enough but we are there again next weekend - third one in a row - so that's a recommendation in itself!

Jackson & Rye in Richmond is so hit and miss. Full disclosure, I've now been there 6-7 times in the past 18 months. Unfortunately on this occasion it was a miss. It took 15 minutes to be told that the juice I'd ordered was unavailable and a further 10 minutes for drinks to arrive. Food service was more prompt, but the food was luke warm at best, with my portion of halloumi minimal at best if you compare to the two chunky slices you get from Nandos for example. There was food under our table and the next table along from where a child had clearly dropped its meal - we had to get that cleaned up before we could sit. It's such a shame it isn't consistently better. It's a great location for a brunch, very buzzy atmosphere, but when they are busy, it all goes wrong and you end up questioning the price of the meal etc. A real shame. Richmond needs better brunch venues - Jackson & Rye is getting by on its great location by the river and decent sounding menu, not on its quality of service.
