Amazing food with service with a smile. Would definitely recommend. The pancakes are so fresh and light the kids couldn’t get enough of them. Definitely a winner

Lovely brunch and friendly waiter, would totally recommend this lovely little restaurant. Had the banana pancakes and they were to die for. I managed to park outside in one of the limited spaces next to the restaurant but it has a limit of 2 hours for £5.

Booked as a birthday treat for daughter. Lovely location but disappointed with quality of food. Used to be alot better. Standards seem to have slipped.

We really enjoyed the delicious food and the relaxing atmosphere. The staffs were friendly and we felt very comfortable. We got a beautiful view from the table. Thank you very much indeed.

The restaurant is lovely and the staff are very approachable. However, the service was quite slow and the wait for food much longer than expected.

Very welcoming when we arrived, it was a little quiet but we got a great table and the staff were attentive and just generally very lovely, fantastic service and wonderful food! Couldn’t fault it!

Beginning was great staff were attentive but wore off quickly and in fact they were not good by the end. Food over priced for what it was would only go again if I had to

We had the weekend brunch menu. The food was great, reasonably sized portions and very quick service. Got a lovely seat by the window without having to ask for it. Would definitely go back.

Great food, that easily accommodated everyone's dietary needs. Service was fast and attentive, with lovely views out over the river to accompany our meal as well. Perfect!

Had a very nice meal here last night after a very poor England performance in the rugby. This is my fourth time here and always very good.

Went there for mother's day and the food as always was lovely, the service was top notch and as always the scenery is beautiful with it being just on the riverside.

Excellent food, even gave us a free glass of bubbly each as it was our anniversary! Have been there before and would easily go back again. The Lamb Rump was delicious

Took my mum and daughter for brunch on mothers day and had a really lovely time. I had requested a table with a highchair for my toddler and they put us on a lovely table by the window with room to park our buggy. The view of the boats going by definitely kept my little one entertained while we waited for the food, which was prompt and delicious. The complementary fizz for me and mum made it even more special - thankyou!

Friendly service and well balanced menu. We have a toddler and I am always impressed at how the staff just take things in their stride. Very family friendly.

Excellent service. Beautiful setting. Menu has lots on offer and the express martini was to die for. Reccomend the salt and pepper squid and the Pecan Pie. Loved it!

Great food and service! This is the third time I have been to J&R and will definitely go back! If I had one complaint the sharing starters are a little small (jumbo shrimp) other than that excellent!!!

Good service overall, nice staff and very good space with a nice, family atmosphere. Unfortunately it took a long time to bring some of our desserts which came all at different times.

Staff very attentive and polite . 2 coffees arrived cold but server exchanged no problem ! The omelette was very small but tasty. I would suggest 2 pieces of toast to accompany the 2 eggs Benedict Thank you

Fab food and service. Slag and pepper squid was delicious. As was the red snapper Bloody Mary we will be coming back again for brunch!

Attentive good humoured and polite waiting staff. Delicious food well prepared. Portions not skimpy. Happy to oblige my fussy requirements. Comfortable seating. Although we were all penned into one section with the fancy booth tables all empty. I suppose that was a better atmosphere except that we could see that the rest of the space was empty. Menus all online so you can see the choice for yourself. On the pricey side but not out of the park and it is Richmond. Overall. I would go again.

Nice lunch on a cold snowy afternoon by the river. The food was good quality , tasty and very good value on the set menu.

Lovely meal the waitress was beyond helpful, my order was slightly wrong and she corrected it straight away and took our drinks off the bill. She also suggested a really nice wine. Lovely atmosphere too

We went on a busy Sunday at lunchtime. That said, the service and food were very good. Fantastic Bloody Marys. I'll definitely go back. They really are hard to beat for brunch and what a perfect location.

Great location and atmosphere. staff are super friendly and very attentative, bar staff were very informative wine the wines. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Would definately visit again.

Delicious and healthy menu options Friendly and prompt service good value excellent location overlooking richmond bridge and the thames comprehensive outside seating for warm days and good views still from inside

The experience was somewhat spiuked by a baby screaming intermittently throughout the meal. The food service was quick, however we waited for ages for our hot drinks at the end and they had been sitting waiting on the bar for a while, the result was that they were rather lukewarm.
