Entirely consistent, beautiful food, lovely ambience in a place made as ever special by its great staff. A really excellent dining experience not to be missed.

A lovely lunchtime meal in a great venue. Staff were very attentive. Food was delicious. Would have liked extra vegetables but they don’t do them!

Charming country house setting in beautiful gardens. Elegant beautifully decorated restaurant serving fabulous food in an intimate friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices given the quality and service. Lots of parking, what more could you want.

We had a very good time at Langar Hall. It never disappoints. The staff are very helpful and couteous and the meal was excellent. We certainly will be coming back and recommending it our frielnds.

Lovely setting for a dinner for two. Great food with classic combinations with a twist. Service was variable. Very friendly but didn’t match the price tag.

Good evening as always. Excellent service. Friendly welcome. Good choice of gins to start the evening with in the comfort of the sitting room. Shame no log fire though last night.

Perfect pre-Christmas lunch! Fabulous signature cheese soufflé, wonderful turkey dinner and an exquisite Christmas pudding. The service at Langar is always impeccable, warm, friendly and a very professional. Also very accommodating team of staff. Can’t wait to return soon.

Great meal spoilt only by the constant front door being opened and closed and left open by wedding party going outdoors for photos letting icy blasts in to the dining area . We were freezing

I was disappointed as my food intolerances that I informed the restaurant of the day before my arrival, were ignored and I was served 2 dishes with cream in which I am severely intolerant to.

All the staff were excellent. Food was superb. Can't fault it. We were given some lovely extras. The beetroot ice covered in white chocolate sounds odd but was surprisingly good. I really enjoyed the evening, didn't feel rushed at all and the service was impeccable. We will be returning.

Great all round experience. The country house setting immediately set the tone for a relaxed yet special atmosphere. The staff were friendly and aware without being over-attentive. As usual, the food was wonderful. The choice is kept limited to allow for fresh (and local) ingredients but was imaginative and delicious. Although the and efficient,room was busy, with a good conversational buzz, there was no sense of hurry and service was prompt. A lovely special anniversary lunch.

Fabulous place! We will be returning soon. Our meal was very tasty, presentation was modern and every effort was made to make sure the food looked it’s very best. Waiting staff were excellent nothing too much trouble for them. Every detail, even down to the tableware, candles, cultlery was spot on! Lovely place and staff will strongly recommend to anyone and everyone.

Stunning setting, exquisite food, outstanding staff. Made to feel extremely comfortable and welcome. First went here over 25 years ago. Was impressed then and still amazed me today. A real treat, worth every penny. Thank you to all at Langar Hall.

We visited as a 4 for my husbands birthday and our meal surpassed expectations; the food was absolutely wonderful, the service outstanding and the little detail made it a perfect celebration. The range of courses and quality of the ingredients was impressive, the wine list and drinks menu diverse and after-dinner coffees very well made. All staff made us feel welcome. The personalised menu and surprise birthday treat at the end of the meal, complete with candles was an added delight. We cannot wait to return and sample more of their menu.

We had a wonderful dinner and stay at Langar Hall. Fantastic food and service in a beautiful and authentic atmosphere. Througherly recommend for a romantic break or weekend with friends.

The welcome was warm and the aperitifs came without delay. The starters were interesting and tasty, although my mackerel was an acquired taste. Main courses and desserts were excellent. I am very particular about my steaks, my fillet was spot on and my wife’s lamb was beautifully done. It is pricey and sometimes if the meal is not up to par then we do not pay the full 12 1/2% service charge. This time we did.

The service we received from Guy, our waiter was great. We were looked after from the moment we stepped through the door. The food was amazing, we can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you!

The location, welcome, and ambience are wonderful but secondary to the most amazing, spectacular food. Each course and each mouthful was an experience to savour.

Excellent food and service in a beautiful setting. We loved the foie gras with the smoked eel and the fillet steak was cooked to perfection.

A beautiful hotel in an equally beautiful setting. The rooms are quite special. Excellent staff, among the best I have experienced. Food was of the highest order. Will definitely return.
