Le Mistral - Nottingham

The whole experience was very enjoyable and the lunch menu was very good value.

The food was amazing at lunchtime 👏. First class !

Meal and wine deal was lovely. Unfortunately I was sick towards the end of the meal so mine was a little wasted

Lovely food. Welcoming staff. Nice surroundings. Slight wait for mains but very busy and didnt mind as had good company. Would go again.

The food was generally excellent. However the mussels were very very salty. I mentioned this to our server and she just made no comment...I got the feeling that my input was not considered important The service was very slow considering that the restaurant was very quiet. I have no wish to rush a meal but a 30 minute wait from ordering for the dessert to appear seemed a bit over the top (Cold pie and ice cream) Would probably give it another try.. maybe..

Lovely service great food but was quite unwell when we got home. So not sure if it was the mix of strong flavours or the mussels. Overall a lovely evening!

Not a great table, tucked away upstairs in a back room (sat next to a bar that had cleaning chemicals on it and was where the dirty plates seemed to go before heading back to the kitchen) Undercooked Dauphinoise had to be sent back, then had to ask for discount. Toilets need an upgrade. Service was fine.

Food & Service very good. Had to take bill back as been charged for the wrong type of Steak. Obviously it was the higher price!

Great pre theatre meal. Lovely quiet restaurant with just background music. Excellent service and food freshly cooked. 20% off the bill on presentation of theatre tickets. Will go again

Good food and wine but service was slow albeit friendly. Would come again but expect much more attentive staff as it doesn’t take 20 minutes to bring the bill

Went last minute as booked restaurant had water problems so closed. Thankfully they squeezed us in. Food was delicious and staff attentive.

I was told I would be able to order off the ordinary menu given it was Valentine's day. That wasn't the case. There were no vegan specials on the board, those on the Valentine's menu weren't exciting and some wouldn't be to everyone's taste. I went for the gnocchi which was lacking flavour apart from the rocket on top which was over powering. Quite disappointing.

Staff always friendly and helpful. Two /three course menu extremely good value and food very well prepared and presented. My friend and I are looking forward to our next visit to this very pleasant restaurant.

Another visit to one of my favourite restaurants - this time for lunch. I rate it highly for food quality, pleasat, quiet ambience and efficient, friendly service.

Lovely friendly staff Food was good but menu stated served with beetroot and there was none. We had had it on a previous visit and thought it complimented the dish. Having said that, the lunch was very good.

Lovely food, great service, 3 children made welcome. It was a Sunday evening. Sadly we were the only ones in, but we still had a lovely time. Try this hidden gem.

excellent food, good menu choice and friendly staff. Le Mistral offers something different, not a sterile environment associated with so many chain restaurants and the wine list is good and inexpensive.

Another week and another excellent visit to Le Mistral. We all enjoyed the food, but nothing new there. I tried one of the specials and was amazed at how good it was. It really is a treat to dine here, a real gem just off the well trodden streets of Nottingham. Thank you for a great lunchtime treat

Lovely lunch my fav french restaurant in notts. Without a doubt best beef Bourguignon and I’ve tried a few, lovely house red which should be expected in a french restaurant

Le mistral is my favourite restaraunt anywhere the food is always the best most tasty and delicious you will find in nottingham my personal favourite time and time again is the chicken and chorizo linguine woa fabtastic beautiful setting staff are amazing polite and super friendly and it's never rushed great choice of drinks a fab place to relax romantic and chilled the apple tart I had today was out of this world le mistral I love you keep on doing what you do and don't ever stop , can't wait to return 😀🇬🇧

Another great visit to this little hidden gem. Never disappointed in any of my visits, with really tasty food on offer every time. I always look forward to going back

Lovely little restaurant. Fairly quiet, warm and cosy. Friendly staff but a little slow (had to ask a couple of times for things like water, drinks, a clean glass!). Food was delieious.

Nice location in quiet courtyard. Menu was good but without anything unusual. Our food was good, the duck was excellent and the pork tasted great but was a little dry. It turned out a little on the expensive side but the atmosphere was lovely.

Excellent French style bistro full of character and offering top quality french cuisine. Wide choice of drinks - alcoholic and non-alcoholic - including beers and wines expected in a french restaurant. Excellent value for money.

Excellent meal which they had gone out of their way to provide a Scottish accent to (yes slightly weird in a French restaurant) but on Burns night was a lovely touch !

Seemed disorganised, given wrong menus to start with, the special on the board wasn't available although still being advertised, a long wait between courses although a member of staff did come to apologise and then told us that there was a new chef and team in that night. We had to ask 3 times for steak knives and one steak was not cooked as ordered (medium rare). Overall food OK but not great or great service xx

Went on the recommendation of a friend , the staff were very friendly and the meal arrived well presented. We were not rushed and the place had a steady flow of diners . The food was excellent at a fair price .

Excellent meal to a very good standard. We had the £13.95 offer of 2 courses. They have a good range of wines to choose from but you can’t go wrong with the house red it’s prettt decent

The food and wine were lovely. The service was a bit slow but the waitress was on her own. Overal it was a pleasant evening.

We booked in late to this place on Xmas Eve and it was fantastic. The service and the food were just perfect.

Gorgeous food and wine, though only 2 vegetarian options. Great value for money. Lovely festive atmosphere. Really helpful staff who were happy to help with my lighting needs and nut allergy. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends.
