Le Mistral - Nottingham

Another excellent meal and on this visit we were served and well looked after by Chelsea our lovely waitress. Looking forward to our next visit. You never know, we might see you there.

Good food, pleasant atmosphere,friendly staff. We always have a nice time here and the pre-theatre discount of 25% is worth knowing about and having. Good

I felt the menu for lunch was not varied enough for someone who cannot have seafood. The deserts were fine and service good and prompt.

Went to the 20% off theatre meal... the food was delicious, the service was very friendly... all round excellent value. Thank you! Would definitely go again!

Great place, tucked away in the centre of Notts with a lovely low key atmosphere and beautiful food. The steak is gorgeous. Great for romantic dinners or a weekend lunch. The service is friendly but not always very quick so relax and enjoy!

Fabulous Sunday dinner - very good value and staff were great. We also had 20% off food bill for going to the theatre and showing tickets

Really enjoyed the early Dinner Menu as we wer going to the theatre, we had not been before as we normally go in the Derbyshire area but a nice change will hopefully try again in the future

Service not very attentive. Had to search for waitress to give dessert order. Search again to ask where my water jug was after she had gone to fill it up. Oh Sorry I forgot. Ordered for main course Duck with all the trimmings. When it arrived ( the duck was lovely) I asked for the Trimmings Yorkshire Pudding ? Cauliflower Cheese ? Stuffing ? Oh sorry we've ran out, I should have told you when you ordered. I said is that whyI have LOADS of potato's to cover up the gaps, A chuckle from the waitress. Otherwise very good.

Always a lovely experience dining at Le Mistral. The food is superb and there's a wide and varied menu, the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Definitely recommend it.

We went here for my girfriend's birthday and we had a lovely evening. The staff were great and we both loved how out if the way it felt. We would definitely recommend going there.

Good coice of meal options, meal and staff were lovely. House wine (white) was a bit sharp though but didn't need a bottle of good stuff at lunch time!

As usual the atmosphere, food and service were delightful. This is why we keep coming back. The house white wine is very drinkable and reasonably priced. I've never had a bad meal here or felt that the service was too slow, or that we were being rushed.

Food and service fine. Bread was a little stalebeen . But didn't put us off our meal. And have been before. And will be back.

I have been to Le Mistral numerous times and also the one in Sherwood and havent been disappointed until now. Didnt enjoy my meal yesterday unfortunately.

I love Le Mistral! Lovely food and friendly service and makes me want to be in France! I'm really impressed also that, having only been able to produce an omelette or tarte for vegetarians around a year ago, they have suddenly completely stepped up to the mark with not only lovely and inspired vegetarian dishes, but also a vegan menu. Won't be long before we're back..!

Early evening dinner before the theatre. Very relaxed atmosphere. Lovely attentive staff. Garlic bread to share for our starter. I then had hake cooked to perfection and my husband had chicken with chorizo in pasta, again very flavoursome. We will go again.

Always relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Staff put you at ease and make you feel at home. Decor and music make you feel you are in France.

Le Mistral creates a relaxing, bistro atmosphere and serves rich, tasty dishes with great attention to seasoning and texture, supported by a good wine list with plenty of options by the glass. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Difficult to believe how lovely this small restaurant is in the main shopping area of Nottingham. Super food and service and always made to feel so welcome.

Starters unimpressive and expensive. Mains were nice but again a little on the pricey side. Service and ambience really nice. The restaurant itself is lovely and wine choices are nicely explained on the card. Sunday lunch menu is good value.

Good as ever. The weekly specials board is always worth checking. Friendly staff, great food in a lovely little exposed brick small warehouse. Will go again and again and...

Absolutely beautiful meal with a very tasty wine (the French Shiraz). Great selection and we were not rushed in the slightest. If you get the chance to try the tart of leek, onions, blackberries & brie, I'd highly recommend it! (On the Specials board the night we went.)

Fantastic restaurant, wonderful food, brilliant service, would recommend if you like/love French food go here, didn’t feel I was being difficult as I am gluten & lactose free.

As good as it used to be. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Had been a little disappointed on a couple of previous visits but now back to the usual great standard.
