OMG best steaks in town, great wine good service and an unbeatable ambience. I live in California and have eaten here at least 4 times. I will continue with the tradition of eating here every time I’m in London

It was risky as I've never been or know of anyone who has but I couldn't ignore the great reviews online and decided to go for it! I' so pleased that I did!! The waiter, when we arrived, informed us that we had a 2 hours slot, which is fine. However they brought us the bill after 1 hour and 20 mins and asked twice to leave before our 2 hours. I understand the hurry, but did not even ask if we wanted anything else. I found it incredibly rude and, especially for an Italian restaurant, where everything should be about enjoying the night and having a nice relaxed time, very excessive.

We had just a wonderful evening....our server, Thomas, was fantastic and humorous and helped us perfectly with our selections. Our steaks were heavenly as were our desserts. It was just a great experience!!!

The service was abrupt and abnocsious. We’ve always made it a point to visit Macellaio every time we’ve found ourselves in London. This trip was not an exception. I am sad to say that the place has drastically changed for the worst. The prices were typical of every trip, however the portions were much smaller and the quality of the food was very disappointing. The steak was full of grizzle and chewy. The side dishes made it to the table for dessert. We will not continue the tradition, I don’t plan to visit this restaurant again.
