The food was really good, but the wait time was long

Called the restaurant over 20 times but no one answered. No option on website to make amendments to booking. Small fruit flies surrounded our table that was next to the grill and made dining unpleasant. No lamb chops or prawns available so a member of our party had to leave and go elsewhere to look for food. Meat platter was more of chicken and not equal amounts of beef/lamb. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed my 1st visit & the staff were awesome! It was my sisters 40th & they really went all out when they brought her cake over, she was so embarrassed -it was great!!!! The only downside (for me) was the loudness, everyone was shouting over each other because of the really loud music- aside from that, the atmosphere was lovely. I also think investing in those fly zapper machine things wouldn’t harm as the little food flies were really annoying. Otherwise, lovely restaurant & food was so flavoursome!

Lovely decor. However, the restaurant isnt clean. There are flies everywhere. It waa so off putting that my entire party had to pack our food to go because we couldn't stand eating somewhere where there were so many flies.

The service was second to none in my book, in a very long time that I have been dining out. The food was great too.

Overall food was ok. Food that was supposed to be spicy wasn’t. The menu is very good for saying what contains nuts, which was helpful for one of the guests who is allergic to nuts. However, the food she wanted (lamb chops) which didn’t have the note ‘contains nuts’, apparently does. Restaurant seemed a bit unorganised. Booked for 15 people, but only given a table big enough to sit 12 and had to ask for an extra table. Yes we were a large group and yes there seemed to be a lot of birthdays, so while some allowance could be made it still just wasn’t great. We had to ask 4 members of staff for spoons and wait 15 minutes before someone eventually told us they were being washed. By the time those of us who needed spoons got them, food was lukewarm. No one came to check if we were ok or enjoying the food or wanted more drinks, everytime we needed something we had to get up and find someone. Overall it Was a strange experience.

The food was amazing, the flavours were bursting through leaving a delicious and juicy taste in your mouth. I can't recommend this place enough, I was sceptical at first because of the location but I was extremely surprised. The service was great, the waitress and the manager was friendly, welcoming and attentive. The only criticism I'd say is that the drinks were not the strongest in the rum cocktail, but when mentioned, they sorted us out nicely on our next round of drinks. The portion sizes were perfect, and I'd say it was by far one of the best places for value for money, quality food and great service. The table we had could have been set before seating us, for instance, no cutlery on the table and could have done with a quick wipe down, but that's minor detail given once we were seated everything fell into place nicely. They DJ bought a nice vibe too. Great job guys. A solid 8.5/9 from me and I will be back.

Waited 15+ to take my order and it took 1hr+ to receive my food (a couple next to me arrived while I was waiting and had their drinks and food arrive before mine 😂). The mojito I ordered was too sweet but that's alright. The food looked incredible but the fish was very bland minus the delicious sauce that came with it. For sides, the flantain was slightly undercooked and the chips were good. For dessert, the banana bread was dry and lacking in flavour but the ice cream was nice. The only plus was you could take the food home meaning everything is not a waste of money. For what I ordered in total I would say the price is reasonable but the experience terrible - would not recommend.

This place is amazing. We had high hopes, and it lived up to it. All the food is amazing, especially recommend the whole suya chicken and lobster. All very authentic, vibrant atmosphere and a good selection of drinks. will be back for sure.

The food, service & atmosphere was great, I’d definitely recommend. My only complaint is the conditions being sat near the kitchen, I’d encourage the staff to look into this, this occurring especially in a restaurant is very unpleasant!

We visited for Sunday Lunch and the service was excellent. Our host Eloisa was responsive to our needs. We throughly enjoyed the food although the only criticism was the pepper soup was extremely spicy. Will definitely be back!

Definitely a very different vibe to 805 with a younger, much louder clientele. The food was amazing (must try the King Prawn and Squid Fried Rice), though and the ambiance was on point. All in all great experience had. Some price points were on the slightly high side. But worth the extra. Well done Monika!

On arrival, there was no sit available but the waiter apologised for that. When we got our sit, everything was good. Service was good. Although the fish was a bit salty. We will come back again. Nice atmosphere

The foods was amazing, delicious & full of flavour. The staff were attentive, friendly and their service was outstanding.

The servers were not very attentive to our table. We had to call them over on about 4 occasions even though the restaurant wasn't even full so the slow service was baffling to us. Our hostess was not at all familiar with the menu either. The card menu was half torn in the middle. Our drinks were served in very good time. Nicely chilled and top notch. Some other drinks were not available which left us with no choice but what they have left. Food - we were told would be 20mins but it 90mins. The food were very good, packed with flavours, nice and hot and well presented. HOWEVER, THE RESTAURANT WAS RIDDLED WITH RATS RUNNING ALL OVER THE PLACE THAT WE HAD TO LEAVE BEFORE WE COULD FINISH OUR DINING. A PARTICULAR YOUNG LADY SEEMS SO SHOCKED AND SCARED THAT HER AND HER COMPANION HAD TO RUN OUT OF THE PLACE. DESPITE THIS ORDEAL, THE MANAGER STILL HAD THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE US HALF PRICE FOR OUR SITTING! AND THEY WERE STILL ADMITTNG CUSTOMERS IN AND SITTING THEM WHERE WE SAW THE RATS RUNNING AROUND. WE ADVISED HIM TO CLOSE DOWN AS THE PLACE IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE BUT TO DEAF EAR I'd like to visit again as I have been there previously with family/friends and had a good experience. I hope they sort out the situation In a fashionable timing

We were late, called ahead to confirm if this was ok and were told it was fine over the phone. When arriving we were berated by the host at the door for being late and being told there were no seats. We were then given the choice of 3 tables which contradicted what we were told at the door, the other host was very friendly and offered to take our jackets which we said yes to. The food was fine but the suya platter contained mostly chicken and not a lot of variation of the other meat options. We wanted another drink and a look at the deserts menu after our meal but getting someone’s attention took 10 minutes. When we finally got seen no menu arrive so we had to ask another person. When we finally got a menu and tried to order another round of drinks we was told we couldn’t have our table any longer and we had to go to the bar if we wanted another drink. The bar was full so why this was suggested to us I don’t know! We therefore decided to leave and with no one there to collect our number for our coat we took our coats and left by ourselves. Overall the service left a lot to be desired and needs a lot of work. While I appreciate it was busy it felt very unorganised and to be berated upon entering the restaurant was very unfriendly and despite explaining we had called ahead he was clearly in a poor mood and taking it out on us as guests.

Our waiters, Precious and Demilade, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We kicked things off with Chapman, asun, and BBQ wings. That asun is a MUST! Bursting with fiery, spicy flavors, and the sauce? Absolute perfection! 🔥🔥🔥👌🏾👌🏾 For the main course, we went for the platter for two—oh my, we were stuffed! The fish was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and delicious. A word of advice: come hungry because the portions are generous! The live saxophonist added a beautiful touch, serenading us with smooth melodies right at our table. We wrapped up the night with a sweet and satisfying cheesecake— the perfect ending to an already amazing meal. A truly lovely evening! Can't wait to come back again. Thank you, Monika! ❤️

We came from Tooting to eat good food. We have a group get together once a month and this visit was a taste test to see if this restaurant could host us. Good service from start to finish from the staff. My food was double yummy. The only disappointment we had was no Jollof rice! Shocking in an African restaurant. Our booking was at 2pm and it was a 2 hour wait for Jollof rice. Cost of the meal was about £35 ahead. Music was a bit loud when we arrived. We were going to ask the staff to turn it down. But once the food came we forgot. Toilets were disappointing dirty windows and sticky floors. Not keen on same sex toilets. The windows at the front of the restaurant were very dirty from the pollution of the traffic right outside as the area is gridlocked with cars and buses. Would I want to make that trek again probably not.

I didn’t know it was going to be crowdy, didn’t enjoy the food ngl. Overpriced food to be honest. The whole experience for me and my partner is just ‘okay’ don’t want to say bad.

The restaurant is nice and very clean, however the music was way to loud and the staff quiet rude! we were told to pay and leave as the table next booking was close, but there is a way to talk to people. it is such a shame we were looking forward to the experience

The restaurant was overwhelmingly noisy, making it difficult to enjoy the atmosphere. The service was terrible; we waited an hour and a half for our food, only for the staff to mix up our order. Our main courses arrived just moments before the starters, and the extras we ordered never made it to the table—yet we were still charged for them. To top it off, when we requested our desserts, they brought us the bill instead. Overall, the experience was marked by poor service and dismal organisation.

The ambience was amazing, warm, friendly vibe. The staff were great. Had my birthday dinner there and everyone enjoyed it. The portions were large, we would all definitely go back.
