Monika by 805

It was an amazing meal! I loved the special monika sauce that came with the fish.. and the beef suya!!! Was original like I use to have it in nigeria

Had to wait for over an hour before we could get a table despite having reserved one ahead. Above all, we all had a good time.

From first entrance to leaving, staff service was awesome, attententative, warm, all done with a smile. Even when we were asked if we were finished, as the table was to be used after us, it was done very politely, we weren't rushed, the staff was considerate and it was professionally done. Did not trouble me or my guess at all. I would certainly go here again and recommend to others. Thank you staff at Monika's for a very memorable experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Monika by 805, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Main Course: 10/10 For the main course, I had lamb chops with a side of fried yam and jollof rice, and it was, without a doubt, one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The ingredients were fresh, the presentation was stunning, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Each bite felt like a new discovery of tastes, and I couldn’t get enough of it. Service and Atmosphere: 7/10 The staff were really busy as the restaurant was swarmed, so the service was slow, we had to get up a couple of times before we could get the attention, however the staff were very nice . Nice atmosphere however the music was really loud and we had to shout just to hear each other Final Thoughts: This wasn’t just dinner ,it was an experience with my girls, and one we'll remember for a long time. Every dish was delicious. I cannot recommend Monika by 805 enough. If you’re a food lover, this place is a must-visit. Bravo to the chef and the entire team! I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Food was delicious and came in good time and pipping hot. Slushie Cocktails were also really good. Live DJ made a great atmosphere though music was a little too loud.

Great food, good music, great vibe. Service was fast and servers were friendly. I like it. Only negative is a few small light flies hovering around, bothered my friends but didn't bother me.

My family had a wonderful time at Monika for my mother's birthday. We enjoyed the food and ambiance, but at times we found the music to be a little too loud.

Atmosphere was great and the food was amazing ! Sade the waiter was very helpful and lovely to speak to very knowledgeable.

A fantastic place. I can only recommend it. We had tasty sea food and chicken mains, that came with generous rice and plantain sides. The veggie spring rolls were also very tasty.

We loved it. The atmosphere was great and food was delicious. I had the fish and it was huge, but I ate it all! I still dream about it. Definitely going again. Service was wonderful. Staff were lovely and the music was spot on. Great vibes and dining!

Absolutely delicious seafood I had to visit for the second time round. Very nice and welcoming staff (precious) made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during our visit. Fast service and freshly made food I could not find a fault :)

Food was cold asked to be reheated, the meal came back a smaller portion and some other bits missing. I did ask for the missing parts which was later provided etc. The atmosphere and service was nice though

It was my first time at this restaurant and overall it was great very busy for a Tuesday so I was glad I had booked cocktails were great and I especially liked the mac & cheese. The staff were all very helpful especially Precious. Will definitely be making a return visit

This is my second time of visiting. Food was good with nice flavours. Cocktails were also nice. Staff were attentive and friendly. The service was quite slow but it wasn’t the worst. It was quite busy so I can understand. Would definitely return!

The vibe and the venue was amazing, unfortunately the wait time was longer than I'd like but the management were friendly and open to receiving the constructive feedback. Big props to Emmanuel and his team, the food was outstanding and as a Jamaican/Guyanese this place is highly recommended.
