Restaurant was very quiet. Staff were very polite and attentive. Food came out about 5 minutes after ordering which felt a bit quick. The tikka masala had nice chicken but the sauce was very bland

After visiting before with friends and being blown away by the staff and freshness of the food; I cancelled a booking at a nearby restaurant and came back with my friend. She was equally impressed with the food and it will now be a firm favourite fir us.

Can never fault the food or service here, been coming for 20 years, and here's to 20 more. The pre theatre menu is ideal when attending a show at the Edinburgh Playhouse. Highly recommend

Das Restaurant war sehr schön, das Essen war supergut, der Service war freundlich. Nur eine Kleinigkeit, die uns nicht gefallen hat. Das Trinkgeld wurde ohne Hinweis in Rechnung hinzugefügt. Nachdem ich Trinkgeld gegeben habe, gab es keinen Hinweis, dass ich doppelt Trinkgeld gegeben habe. Ansonsten war das Essen sehr lecker.

Really enjoyed, from atmosphere, food and service are superb!!! We even have a birthday card and wedding anniversary card on the table when we arrived. The staff are fantastic and welcoming. This is our second time been this place and still amazed for the service

Perfectly ok, but benefits most from its location. Maybe I didn’t choose well… I had a mixed tandoori grill. It was very generous in quantity and variety, but I wasn’t keen on the accompanying sauce/gravy, which was a bit like onion soup. Partner had chicken tikka masala, and it was too bland and sweet for them. Even though it it mild, it should still have lovely slice flavours, surely?
