We were a group of 4, 2 of which were vegans, we were all impressed with the choice and quality of food. The service was excellent especially our waitress I can't remember her name she was very witty and cheerful.

Never been to The Red Onion but I'll be back. Went there for a Graduation celebration. Every single member of staff couldn't have been nicer. The food was beautiful, looked amazing and tasted as good. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely be back

The food and drinks were great. We had the French Onion Soup, and Chicken Bang Bang Salad to start and we both had the Chicken Korma main. The chicken was moist and tasty. The sauce was beautifully well balanced and complex and the rice was delicious even on its own. Staff were friendly and efficient even though the restaurant was busy, and the chef even took time to be present in the dining room. I’d recommend this restaurant for any occasion.

disappointing. starter was not what we ordered but no apology or offer to exchange for correct meal. No compensation with regards to bill. Our waitress was not exactly friendly and at times was almost rude.

I was disappointed with my meal. I had fish gougons from the a la carte menu and it was not value for money with 4 small pieces of fish along with skinny fries and frozen peas! My husband had a gluten free meal which was fine.

Due to health problems I have a poor appetite and seldom really enjoy eating. However your Pandora haddock goujons were great and my plate was cleared. Hope to return soon

A delicious graduation meal -- scallops were to die for -- and the service was faultless.

Food was to die for. Had octopus and was delicious and cooked perfectly. Then I had the steak burger. Also cooled to perfection.

Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed the evening.

We had a wonderful meal with wine at the red onion tonight. All 3 courses were delicious and the service was spot on. The upstairs area could do with a bit of an overhaul decor wise but overall we had a great evening and most importantly the food was fabulous.

Never been let down at Red Onion. Always look forward to coming back.

Nice restaraunt, meal was delicious and a nice touch with the personalised graduation menu.

Visited at lunch time. 2 vegan, 1 g/f and dairy free and 1 regula. All catered for very well with separate menus,. Waitress very helpful, friendly and efficient. Lovely food, very nice friendly atmosphere. Music was a bit loud but waitress turned it down for us. Thank you. It would have been good to have a vegan lunchtime menu for the same price as the ordinary menu. We had to have the more pricey evening menu. However the food and the service was great. Definitely be back!

Excellent food and service !! Would highly recommend . We had the 3 courses and it was 10 out of 10. I am a vegetarian and they catered for me very well
