Visit was great as always. Food is beautiful here and you always get really attentive service.

Been many times and will go many more. So that says it all.

Top notch food in this place. lovely, attentive waiting staff. There are cheaper places in Glasgow, but this is a 'get what you pay for' deal - lovely grub!! Fab restaurant for a treat.

Absolutely wonderful!!!! Had the crusty goat cheese salad, mushroom risotto and the frozen raspberry with hot white chocolate sauce for dessert. Great service and atmosphere! Perfection in every way!

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. I’m dairy free and usually find it hard to get a good variety of options but red onion are amazing!! Made my birthday dinner that much better. Will definitely be back in the near future

Our starters were nice but lukewarm. Maybe the restaurant could do with a refurb especially the toilets. Food was good but not great

Leider wurde ich schon lange nicht mehr so enttäuscht... Das Restaurant war schmuddelig (Lampen staubig, dreckig), der Service war umprofessionell (von Weinservice haben die noch nie was gehört und schon gar nicht vom Unterschied zwischen Rot- und Weissweingläsern) und das Essen war auch unter den Erwartungen. Wie kann man einen Seeteufel in einem solchen Restaurant mit Ketchup und Mayo Streifen auf dem Teller ausgarnieren? Wir sind einfach wohl einfach mit zu hohen Erwartungen dorthin, aber gemäss vielen Reisetipps gilt das Red Onion als Fine Dining Restaurant... Leider war es für uns alles andere als das.

Great food but cold - door kept jamming open & had to get up every now & again to close it.

One of my favourite places in Glasgow to eat, beautiful vegan menu and lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Love that the head chef pops out to say hello to his diners to. Can't fault it!

All four of us really enjoyed our meal. The service was great with friendly, polite staff. The food is great quality and excellent value for money. Only downside is the toilets which badly need upgraded.

Our booked table was not ready. There was nowhere to sit so we were left standing. The table eventually offered was the size of your average dish towel and right at the door. We walked out
