Restaurant 92

Went for my husband's birthday. Great, wine and service. A must if you enjoy excellent food and flavours. The desserts also come with a recommended dessert wine which is great.

Top rate service from all staff Superb food My third visit and top of the list for a celebration fine dining meal beating in my view The Box Tree and The York’e Arms

This was our first experience of Restaurant 92 and what a delight. The 5-course taster menu was varied and altered to suit my wife's coeliac needs as well as her preferences, even the accompanying wine was altered to match the changes; nothing was too much trouble. As for the quality and variety of the food, it was outstanding. Service by all of the staff was personable and always professional, again nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings were very comfortable and there was a good atmosphere. The choice and range of wines is extensive and will cater for all tastes. Would I go again - most definitely, a most enjoyable evening.

Superb. The quality of the food is outstanding. The service is outstanding. The ambiance is outstanding. I think for fine dining this has to be the place in Harrogate.

Michael Carr is a very talented young chef. If you want Fine dining in Harrogate then 92 is the only true Fine dining restaurant. I went for the New Summer Tasting Menu and my wife the Vegetarian Tasting Menu. It is ok to mix and match from both if you want to which was a great option. I switched my starter for the Vegetarian option and it was delicious. We both had the wine pairing and they were excellent choices. Pasta dish spot on with the pasta cooked to perfection. I had the chicken main course and this was a superb combination of flavours. Who said chicken was boring! We both had the same desert which was an absolute masterclass. Staff were equal to the quality of the food. Professional but very friendly and informative. There is a nice buzz at 92. Not stuffy and not too noisy. Feels right. Micheal had signed a copy of the 2 Tasting Menus for us and had a quick word with us as we left. Such a nice touch. Our 2nd visit and can't wait to go again. Wish 92 was in our home City of Nottingham.

Marvellous, innovative & delicious food - absolute perfection. A thoroughly enjoyable evening and service was excellent despite the restaurant being full on a rather busy Saturday evening.

Very nice meal. Will try the beef Wellington next time . Canopies were very tasty and Scalops very good. service excellent will return in the future.

Superb meal, beautifully served and quite reasonable value for such a good meal. We thought there might have been a problem as it was the World Cup semi final, but the place was quite busy and I have said the food was superb and the service excellent. We'll go back!

Fantastic food. Great service. The whole evening in restaurant 92 is like an event. Love this place. Beef wellington is where its at! Absolutely love thr auderves that get served too!

Just had the most wonderful lunch for a friends birthday - we had the vegetarian tasting menu and it was exquisite. A joy to see such care go into the creation of vegetarian dishes - textures and flavours were amazing. The service was sincere and helpful and the restaurant itself is beautiful - we felt really relaxed. So much so, that we lost track of time and were late for the school run! This was a special treat for a rare get-together - heartily recommend.

Fabulous, the food was inspired and excellent. We all wet for the tasting menu with wine pairing, which was also great. I have several intolerances which they dealt with admirably. The staff and chef were all delightful.

Absolutely superb! Food, service, atmosphere were all brilliant and we will definitely be coming back. All the food was explained before and during serving and the staff were quick and knowledgeable.

Food very good. Unfortunately got one of the main courses wrong and did not deal with it correctly. Should have taken other main courses away and cooked from fresh. Just falls short of what a top restaurant would have done.

Fab food. Excellent friendly but courteous service. Can’t fault it. Will definitely be back very soon. If we had to suggest anything , it would be to have s little music.

Great front of house staff. In front of an outstanding young chef who has returned to show case his skills in his hometown. Excellently prepared and presented the food is original and exciting. Bravo!

A reataurant of Michelin standard - friendly and efficient atmosphere. Beautiful modern cooking at less than Michelin prices. We would come back again if in Harrogate

Exceptionally good food. Lovely service - just right and the bar next door was an excellent start to the evening. Highly recommended. The amuse bouche and interesting flat breads were a nice addition too. Excellent well priced wines.

Some staff v rude. Such a shame and some were awesome. Food was lovely. Don’t be let down be staff that clearly want diners gone. Wonderful at times. Uncomfortable at times.

The food is superb and beautifully presented .The restaurant is comfortable and lavishly decorated. The service is excellent , friendly and informative. Surprisingly, it is no more expensive than other inferior restaurants in Harrogate. Go to Restaurant 92 if you want a real treat.

Super service and lovely food. Our sommelier in particular was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great evening. I wouldn’t consider the tasting menu a true tasting menu as it really only provides an extra starter, however, the quantities were ideal as I usually find a longer tasting menu a bit too baffling.

An enjoyable experience, service was great, food was tasty and the atmosphere was relaxing. Drinks were on the pricey side £12 for a measure of JB Red Label

1 guest left most of her duck saying it was tough. 1 guest said plate was cold. 5 of us thought everything was excellent. I was 1 of 5. I had duck it was so good I wanted more.

We had the lunch set menu. Fantastic value for such amazing food. We both agreed it was one of the best meals we have ever had. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Absolutely nothing bad to say. Would definitely recommend visiting.

We had the tasting menu at lunchtime - all courses were excellent although we would not normally have chosen the dessert. Reasonably priced for a tasting menu particularly if you eat in the evening

We had the really excellent set lunch. Already good value for money we also had an e mail which gave us a glass of prosecco each. This chef is going places - "the new Tommy Banks?" Next time we will try one of their wine nights.

Stunning creative food, wine list and knowledgeable professional friendly staff. We went for Lunch on Saturday, and loved it so much we booked for Sunday there and then.

Been many times, but last time not as good. Chef needs to change the menu more often and update the nibbles before the meal. The taramasalata is now old hat.

A fantastic lunch, service professional, food delicious and an excellent wine list to accomoadate all budgets. I challenge more locals and visitors to Harrogate to support this independent restaurant and experience their excellent hospitality.
