Absolutely the best restaurant in East Kilbride, would not go anywhere else

For a birthday (71) meal it was perfect, food was great, service was great in a relaxed atmosphere.

Always have excellent service in this restaurant ;the food was lovely with plenty of choices in the pre-theatre menu

We waited far too long for our meals. I know the place is busy but it was almost 40 minutes wait. Food was okay,pretty overpriced for what it was.

First visit to this restaurant and thought it was lovely. Food was really good and would definitely go back. Service for starter was quick but mains took quite long to come but to be honest I didn’t really mind as I prefer not to feel as if you’re being rushed out the door. 3 people out for dinner from the moment we arrived we were treated magically nothing is too much bother they do a mean Singaporer Sling cocktail .We had the pre-theatre menu it has plenty choices and even the most fussy eater would find something

We went for my Dads birthday lunch on Friday and had a lovely meal. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious with perfect sized portions for lunch.

Lovely food but waited 40 minutes for our starter. Also asked for the sharing platter with out the prawns but when it arrived it came with prawns and after waiting 40 minutes we didn't return it

Food was amazing would not choose to sit in back area as party in and felt we were intruding.Definetly recommend it and we will return.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at Richmond Oriental. Only negative point was my wife asked for a glass of Rose wine only to be told it was only sold by the bottle. I have never come across this practice before.

Had booked table for 6pm. Was so busy did not get a table until 7.30pm. Had to sit and wait in lounge - took 30 min before we were even offered a drink. Food was ok - though they got one main course wrong. Was quickly corrected. They did also give us one bottle of wine for free off the bill but wait time was excessive.

7 of us went to celebrate my Husband's birthday last night and we had a fantastic evening. The Richmond Oriental is a lovely place to go. It is set in a lovely location in East Kilbride, the Restaurant is well kept, is clean and it is constantly being upgraded in order to look like a high end establishment. The staff couldn't do enough for us and were so attentive, constantly looking out for us and knowing when to come and top up the wine, as well as the rice or noodles. Wonderful service. The food was exceptional. Our combination starters were hot, fresh and so tasty. We then had the crispy aromatic duck, which was so succulent and all of us got 3 pancakes full of it each, which was wonderful. We all chose 7 different main courses and shared our food and each dish cooked to perfection, hot and full of flavour. The whole experience was superb and much of it thanks to the wonderful attention we got from the staff, who were so eager to ensure we had everything we wanted or needed. I'd definitely recommend this Restaurant to anyone and it won't be the last time we go.
