Steak and Cherry

Christmas Day wonderful meal and fast service, dessert was a bit disappointing but not enough to ruin my day. Great afternoon friendly staff will definitely be booking again soon.

Starters and mains were excellent. Dessert could have been better - pancakes were a bit dry and cold for what were meant to be fresh made pancakes. Cheesecake was nice enough.

Staff are lovely. Very helpful and the food was nice too. We sat in a booth that was cosy and very comfortable. My husband got a burger to take home with him and it wasn't an issue when he asked if he could order it but take it home. It was made fresh for him about 5 minutes before we left. We also got a £10 off the next time we visit.

Never disappointed at Steak and Cherry food and service 1st Class as always. Great value for money and open til 4 or 5am every day

Service was great, staff were extremely helpful great atmosphere! on the downside... unfortunately, my steak was cold and the fajita mix was burnt - along with nightmare parking.

Food was great, Staff were attentive and friendly without being irritating. Chose pre theatre menu which offered good value for money. Will return to this restaurant

Restaurant empty at pre- theatre time on a Wednesday. We took advantage of a 50% off main menu offer but it appeared to be 50% off the portions as well as price. We both had fajitas, very dissappointed to get such a small portion of mediocre beef in a restaurant described as an American style steak house. Overall the meal was fine for pre-theatre but would not hurry back.

Once order was taken, food was very slow one of the soups was very cool, we then waited 50 minutes for the main courses and only one out of four was served hot.

food was of a decent quality staff were excellent good value for money.and for a change felt drink prices were reasonable.only fault restraunt was cold.

The good is amazing. We had a black pudding started which was totally define. The mains were amazing and the staff were really really friendly.

Food was good, chips a bit overdone, but the Tenesse Tirmasu more than made up for them. Staff very friendly. Will certainly make a return visit

Service was slightly slow but servers were lovely and food was absolutely fantastic and worth the wait. Cannot recommend enough! Great choice of music played in the background, atmosphere was casual and fun. I will definitely be back.

Good value as we opted for the pre theatre menu. Good choice of food and it came quick. Tasted lovely. Also opted for cocktails with our meal. Nice and handy for Kings Theatre.

Some of the food served was not hot but one portion of chicken was served under cooked (pink). From what I saw it was not the only return of the evening Not a great night for the Chef. A great pity as the service and pricing would have made it great value.

Steak & Cherry have a really varied choice on the menu. Food was delicious with great portions. I would definitely recommend this as a must visit and I'll be back!

Tried out this restaurant due to it being close to the kings and also due to all the positive reviews. Well it did n disappoint as like the venue the food was second to none. Will definitely be back for another visit.

Service was very slow. We waited 45mins for starter and although the booking was made for 5.45 we didn't have time for dessert as we had a show to go and see at 7.30pm

Food good. service a little slow. Waiting staff need training on how to clear plates without stacking on top of cutlery! Likely to call again.

nice restauarant , good value , helpful staff , pre theatre had good choice , only a 5 minute walk from the Kings Theatre, dont be put off by the scaffolding

Food was mostly good. Pizza a bit underwhelming. Place was quiet when we were in over a lunch time but still took 45 mins for our food to arrive.

The staff were very welcoming and offered us the cocktail list.The cocktails,food and dessert were brilliant.We never felt rushed and the staff were so helpful.I'd definetly go back.I reccomend the pork loin steak with mustard sauce with chips and loved the new york cheese cake.

All 4 of us enjoyed our first visit. We were having the pre theatre which was good value and very enjoyable. We will use this venue again when visiting the theatre.

Staff are really nice, helpful explaining the different meals. Food is delicious. Would highly recommend . Restaurants is clean and well maintained. Only one downfall only one toilet per sexes. Other than that love this wee restaurant.

Booked this last minute after a 27 hour journey travelling back to Scotland. Good was excellent and good value. Nice wee place with lovely staff. Definitely recommend and we will definitely be back again.

Steaks done to perfection, good selection of sweets had ice cream and cheesecake both were delicious, staff were great,would recommend our experience to anyone who wants a really good steak dinner.

Gorgoeus food and gorgeous staff what more can you ask for. Everyone enjoyed there meal. Prices where reasonable, this was our first time and we will definately be back. Thankyou

Great little restaurant. Food was lovely and service was excellent. We had a bit of a problem with having to ask for a cocktail menu and then sending drinks back but otherwise a fantastic night out.

Food was great staff very friendly and service was quick I'd go back and recommend it Although a wee bit out of the way it's ideal if your going to the Kings Theatre

The food was fab and quick. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to eat in the city! If you are short, I would recommend not sitting in the booths. I had to sit on the edge to eat properly at the table. Other than that, I loved the food and the customer service was great!!

Great food, attentive waitress and prompt service. Booths are about uncomfortable though! Great value discount with the ATG card, although prices are pretty reasonable too.

I searched online for restaurants near to Kings Theatre and Steak and Cherry was on this list. I read the reviews, most of which were excellent and the menu looked good so I booked a table for 22nd April at 6pm for myself and my Husband. We were welcomed with a smile from staff and our table (booth) was set and waiting for us. Our server was called Keri and she was delightful and attentive. The food was lovely Bang Bang chicken and Prawns for starters followed by Chicken Stroganoff and the house Burger with lovely fresh onion rings ( not the frozen ones ) and fresh salad. An added bonus was when we told Keri we were going to a show in the theatre and she promptly gave us a card with a meal deal on it plus a glass of Prosecco. we will definitely be returning to Steak and Cherry because we know exactly what to expect. Great service from the minute we entered. Ate from the pre theatre menu and it did not disappoint. We had the bartered king prawns with chilli dip, followed by the steak in red wine sauce. The food was excellent and well presented. I also had a couple of cocktails which were delicious. Great value for money, service and atmosphere. Special touch was the live guitar player/singer. Will definitely be back.

Friendly efficient staff and great food. What more can you ask for. We were on the way to theatre and we received excellent attention and got served and cleared up in good time with no hurry.

Good food at not bad prices. Lovely service and portions are generous. Will definitely go back again. Definitely worth a visit for anyone staying in the area.

Great food and lovely friendly staff! We booked Steak an cherry for a pre theatre meal. The 2 or 3 course set menu is great value for money and excellent quality. This was our 2nd vist and we will definitely return.
