Being going here for years never ever dissatisfied always a joy - food , service ,staff and setting all wonderful

First time there for quite a while, really impressed with menu choices and service was top notch.

Had a lovely meal and great service, excellent atmosphere, kids loved it as well.

Food consistently good. Buzzing atmosphere, great value and excellent service.

Relaxed atmosphere, varied menu, fantastic food. Look forward to dining here again.

My friends and I had a lovely meal on Saturday at,the Battlefield Restaurant. We had the two course lunch which was not only terrific value, but also excellent quality.

We enjoyed a delicious meal and wonderful atmosphere, as always!

Great service from the second we walked through the door until we were leaving. The waiter that served us was able to provide guidance on a wine choice, which seems to be a somewhat rarer thing these days. The menu is amazing, there truly is an option to please everyone, and that includes the set menu. My food was absolutely amazing, the chef's did an amazing job. Brilliant atmosphere, the place was busy, and you can feel that in the atmosphere but it's not noisy in any way, it's just a very happy place to be.

Always a great atmosphere and attentive, friendly staff. Food is consistently excellent and lots of choice. This is our favourite neighbourhood restaurant.

Food was delicious - as always. Unfortunately this did not compensate for the horrendously long wait to take our order or the fact we had to twice request additional drinks before they were delivered to the table. The poor service was likely due to the fact that there were only 2 servers to cover a fully occupied restaurant and sadly this means I probably wont visit here again.

People left before us as they had been waiting for a loooong time unfortunately. We had to wait too but not so long..and the delicious food was totally worth the wait.

Friendly, welcoming staff. There was a baby in my party and the restaurant were so welcoming and helpful with him. Food was, as always, amazing. I can highly recommend the Haggis Caneloni! Prices were amazing and always a good deal on. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants around.

The Battlefield Restaurant is a delightful dining experience. Excellent food is served by courteous and helpful staff in a most amenable setting. Highly recommended. The wine list was also good, including a nice aglianico.

Great food, great service. Really enjoyed it. The portions are pretty big too so really good value for money. I’ll definitely be back in the near future.
