Gluten free fish and chips were absolutely delicious. Staff were so friendly and service was perfect. Highly recommend.

Found the food excellent, service first class and have not had a sausage supper for 60 years !! Would highly recommend this venue to future diners.

Disappointed with the overcooked lobster £50, chewy and tough. Seabass catch of the day £28 sold as a gratin but fell short of this. The Prawn cocktail £12 lovely! Service good. £9 service charge optional. Drinks were deducted from bill as a gesture of goodwill for poor lobster.

Really good food 😋 prawn cocktail was amazing. Far too many chips though I couldn't eat them all they should maybe half the chips and put a little salad on the side rather than a full load of chips. Fish was amazing. Service was fab too. Looking forward to visiting again.

Staff very friendly and quick service. A little on the pricey side, but portion sizes were really big. Fresh food. Partner found the fish batter a bit much, but think this is down to his personal preference. Would return in the future. Was nice to try somewhere new.

We visited The Crab and Lobster Fish Shack for dinner in 6 February. We had a lovely welcome as soon as we arrived and were shown to a nice table. The food was amazing we all had starters consisting of Haggis Fritters, Monkfish, oysters and the mussels. Everyone really enjoyed their starter which was followed by Haddock and chips, the batter was lovely and crispy and the fish cooked perfectly. One of our party had the soft shelled crab and really enjoyed it. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. Our waiter was lovely young man who was very friendly.

This was my second visit and it did not disappoint. We'll certainly be back.

The gluten free fish and chips was really excellent today and fantastic value at £15 for fish and chips and cup of tea( also bread if you are not gluten free). The fish was so fresh and in lovely crispy batter. Big portions as well! We have been often and I’m sure we will see you again soon. Thank you

We were at the Crab and Lobster on Tuesday evening for a family birthday. All of the dishes tasted wonderful and the service was excellent too. Will definitely be back.

Food was great. I’d been before but my husband hadn’t. We had the shared crab nachos which was fantastic. Then we both had the reg fish with chippy chips and we loved how the fish just broke away and the batter was so crispy and not greasy. The staff are so friendly and attentive, nothing was a problem. The value for money was good and pricing on menu wasn’t a lot more than you would pay elsewhere and for how good the food is you don’t mind paying a little bit more. The service was great. Will definitely be back again and again. It’s now our fav place to visit.

Absolutely fantastic my husband had the special which was cod in delicious sauce I had scampi and chips and for sweet I had chocolate sundae and husband has sticky toffee pudding with whippy ice cream will be back very soon

Our 1st time as received £100 voucher from our two daughters Spanish gentleman waiter was excellent on reception & with explaining specials, thoroughly enjoyed starter Cullen soup & sourdough bred then 2 mains of 1/2 lobster delicious & side if crab Agreed to 10% service charge but normally prefer to pay tip separately

My wife and I had a great visit tonight. Attentive and polite staff, not overbearing, options explained, recommendations given. Food was lovely we ordered way too much but delicious non the less. Won’t be our last visit that’s for sure.

Waited a little bit for the food but service and food couldn’t have been any better. The lobster special was the best I’ve had and we eat out a lot.

First time I have ever been and will definitely be back! It’s posh fish with normal stuff like natchos or chippy chips. The quality of the food is outstanding the service is great and the restaurant itself is lovely!
