Could not fault The Kings Head. Great Service, Great food. We went on burger night, best burgers we have ever had. Will definitely be going back to sample more on their menu.

Lovely lunch again at the Kings Head. Ciabatta with bacon brie etc lovely and smoked brisket on brioche very good too. Great chips! Will be back.

Had a Sunday roast which was amazing as previous visits Although services wasn’t as good this time but was very busy but overall good 😋

Food was beautiful as is the atmosphere and you can expect nothing less each time you visit!

An enjoyable evening out with friends. Good food, good atmosphere, helpful attentive staff. Definitely will be returning to try some of the other delicious sounding options on the menu.

Food was wonderful care taken with presentation. I had brie parcel was delicious. Partner had burger he said it was so tasty. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were so helpful and took great pride in their work . Will definately be returning. Was a great find

Great food ,but they got busy and it took ages to get dessert,at one point we were going to cancel dessert and pay for what we had eaten.

Sunday lunch brilliant as always. Service very good. I had booked online & whilst we got a table we were originally shown to one in the bar that can be noisy. I had asked for a restaurant table that we were moved to. We were advised to confirm by phone rather than depend on the online booking.

If you're looking for the perfect roast dinner-this is the place. We honestly couldn't fault anything. The food is so tasty, perfectly cooked and comes out hot. Service excellent too. I almost always prefer my food with an exotic flavour, but can order a British roast here with confidence and have never been disappointed.

Awesome. Catered in every sense for a gluten free diet with the greatest of care. Delighted with food, choices, service, welcome and ambiance. And the espresso martini! We’re going back soon.

Great food at a reasonable price. Lovely decor and friendly staff. The two course lunch menu is a good deal. We will be going back again soon.

Sunday roast was ok but not exceptional. More vegetables would be an improvement. Millionaires sweet was very good. Attentive staff. Make a point to request restaurant when booking otherwise you’ll sit in the bar.

Excellent as always. A varied menu and very attentive staff make the King's Head a great place to dine. The food is superbly cooked and beautifully presented, and the beer is good, too!

Another great evening here. This time with Aussie friends who loved it. Try the chicken skewers then are delicious. Busy Sunday evening but overall service was pretty good considering how busy they had been since lunchtime.

As always very good food and a lovely warm welcome from the staff. As the vegetarian curry as a change from the roast and it was delicious.

Friendly service, our table was ready to which our drinks were brought to us. Our food was excellent (I would particularly recommend the fish and chips) and the atmosphere was of that of a country pub without music !!!

Following a canal boat trip, it was the last night of the trip, we booked a table , so glad we did, great food , great service, lovely atmosphere, couldn’t fault it.

Woww, superb lunch! Chose Lunch Special Menu with great choice. £7.95 one course, £12.95 for two courses per person. We both had a Sirloin Steak with Peppercorn Sauce, cooked to perfection with best fries we have had for many years, and a lovely green salad with red onions and small plum tomatoes (loads)! I followed with a yummy Chocolate Brownie, no nuts, White Chocolate Ice Cream even with little pieces of choccie in, and a little pan of hot Chocolate Sauce. Can Lunch get any better? CERTAINLY NOT!

As good as ever, very tasty and served with a smile.

Friendly service, great food. Highly recommended. Only problem was I was so full after the mains that I couldn't accommodate one of the delicious deserts!

Lovely meal - Sunday lunch at its best with hot soup and fresh bread , Roast dinners with plenty of meat and gravy and great attentive service too.

Always receive excellent food and service at the Kings Head. Beautiful village pub with Great decor and ambience. They stock a number of decent gins too..

Friendly, young professional team serving excellent well presented food in pleasant surroundings. Good range of ales and craft beers. We were there on Monday steak night - excellent steaks and superb desserts and value for money.

Really great food but not very good service. Had to keep asking to get attention. Was ignored when we walked in, staff kept walking straight past. Had to remind them to bring drinks to table as they were sitting on the bar.

Helpful, pleasant staff, very efficient despite being very busy. Really great food, beer and wine and a very nice glass of port with our cheese. Car park a little tight. Very friendly atmosphere.

A lovely meal as usual, we could tell they were a little unde staffed but staff were still polite and friendly towards us. Great job team!

Fab food yet again - the trio of pork was one of the best dishes I've had here yet. However a bit disappointed that the steak night was a variation on the normal theme with just one starter being offered with the steak instead of the usual steak and any pudding offer.

Booked last minute and greeted by very friendly staff as always. The Sunday Roast is delicious and followed by a good choice of deserts. Highly recommend.

We were a table of six for a double birthday celebration. We Great food (all of us had food envy!) and the service from the was second to none! A true pleasure to dine at the Kings Head and the marshmallow cocktail is amazing!!

Great food, nice pub in a nice setting, service was a tad slow given that there were not that many other customers. Overall a good experience.

Great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. We will be going again. I would advise booking as some potential customers had to wait about an hour for a table as they hadn’t booked.
