Fantastic meal to celebrate Father's Day. We tried some new dishes and all of the food was delicious

Lots of interesting choices on the menu and never been disappointed yet. My go to Chinese restaurant, always friendly even when incredibly busy.

A tad noisy with a large party in but it was fine. food was very nice as usual

Been there many times before this was a birthday treat had a lovely evening went back the next day for tapas that was brilliant too will definitely be going lots more in the future

Very pleasant, immediate but not intrusive service. Generous portions. Chicken and sweetcorn and hot and sour soups, typical chicken curry, shiitake mushrooms and Mandarin crispy noodles excellent. Yellow bean chicken too salty.

I think the above says it all. It was however a Monday evening so not many diners and we were eating fairly early.

Was ok . Just a a normal Restaurant I coudn t find anything to justify the price... :( Very expensive for the food they serve.

We had a very pleasant meal in a friendly atmosphere. Have been a few times before. Always enjoyable. Parking sometimes difficult - otherwise would visit more often.

The food was very average ,i have eat better Takeaway food ,The wine was awful, i would not go out of my way to eat there again

Lovely evening with work friends: good food and pleasant atmosphere. Staff all friendly and helpful. We had 2 set menus and there was loads of yummy food.

Location is great, service excellent and tasty food. The music was too loud and unnecessary adding nothing to the atmosphere which was otherwise very good.

Staff were lovely and very welcoming, did have to order drinks twice to get them though and service was a bit slow. The seaweed very sweet as was the smoked chicken, covered in sugar which we weren't expecting. Mongolian Lamb was delicious! For mains - hubby had Singapore rice (with no meat) was nice and spicy, had with Fillet with spring onions and ginger which was very tender. I had Spicy glass vermicelli with everything in it, huge portion and lovely, had that with Sea spiced chicken, spicy enough to make my lips and tongue tingle. Overall a nice evening.

Good food good service had a lovely meal with my family would certainly go again the next time in Bournemouth would definitely recommend a visit here

Food as always A1 good value good service the staff are very attentive they give you time between courses you are never hurried would recommend most highly

Booked online all ok ,got a table straight away ,it was very busy took our order for drinks and food food was all good but service was erratic started to clear our table before we had our main courses. Can't knock the food but service could have been better

This was our 3rd visit and can honestly say it is the best Chinese we’ve ever been to. As we travel from Portsmouth it’s a shame we cant visit more often

Excellent dining experience. We booked for 6:30 , right time for a quiet meal as the place filled up quickly, even on a Thursday. The food was excellent with fresh ingredients. Good and fast service.

This is without doubt the best Chinese Restaurant in Bournemouth and for us the best anywhere. Great food as always in a lovely atmostphere. Full marks again - Well Done The Mandarin !!

Soon after arrival I was quickly seated and presented with the menu. I opted for the set menu 23£ per person which was both substantial and of good quality in taste and presentation. The service was very good at all times especially the maitre d who took time to check that all was well despite being quite busy. I was very happy with all aspects of my dining experience.

Good service , good value , staff very friendly food excellent wide choice. You are allowed to take your time to choose . They must be doing it right as they have been there since 1969. Recommend most highly .

Great food. Very friendly staff . Only criticism is food comes out a bit too quickly so the experience is over very quickly. Particularly like the Chenin blanc !

The food was brilliant and the staff were very attentive. Being Christmas Eve the whole experience was very festive with our friends. Will definitely be going again.

The restaurant was too hot and uncomfortable, and the food was average, very gloopy sauce . It was all hot and the service was excellent though

When we visit Bournemouth, we always go here! Food is to die for and pretty faultless with lots of dishes to choose from.....we had three sizzling dishes, all of which we cleared and managed a dessert too!!
