The food was great but service very slow. Their excuse being that it was football weekend and everyone wants to eat out. They should only be taking the number of diners that they can cope with.

Everything was perfect ! Food was superb, staff attentive yet discrete, beer was Wasabi, it doesn't get much better than this, can't wait return .

Service was fast,food was amazing,only cheesecake felt like it was frozen,but tasted really nice.Place has a lovely decor, good atmosphere.(I left a note that it was my birthday celebration,they said nothing, it was a bit disappointing,but I still enjoyed it)Definitely coming back.

the foods amazing, atmosphere is both friendly and welcoming, it can get busy so you should book, especially on the weekends, staff are really good, had a lovely time on Saturday with my wife, in my opinion it's the best chimes place to eat in the Bournemouth area, I would recommend it without doubt.

We visit Bournemouth about once a year and always try to fit in a meal at this restaurant. A few changes have been made since our last visit but the quality of the food is still good.

Great atmosphere, great food - Crab tortellini and Kung Po Prawn with Fusion rice especially good. Wine perfect temperature and good quality. Staff attentive. Full house Saturday Apr 7th - a good sign.

Fairly average food, service not great and the toilets were grubby in need of a deep clean. Vegetarian options quite limited and they were also served on plates containing meat and fish!

Wonderful restaurant, The menu has loads to choose from.. The staff were very friendly and helpful suggesting variations of the dishes and asking what we liked etc... they made the experience very nice. Nice setting inside the restaurant, food and staff were amazing.

waited ages for main course, had to remind them, not as good as it used to be, the clientele seems to have gone down hill as well, not some where you can go any more for a nice quiet meal, seems to be getting quite rowdy and young adults spending the whole evening taking selfies of each other with their flashes on disturbing every one else

We had not visited the Mandarin for several years but were pleased to find the same excellent standards of food, decor and service had been maintained. A very friendly welcome was given by the Manager and his team and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates fresh Asian food in pleasant surroundings.

First visit to this restaurant. We've been looking for a new Chinese restaurant since our old one changed to a 'as much as you can eat' place with disastrous results. We liked everything, the décor, the staff, the food and we felt good value. We will almost certainly return as some stage.

A very quiet evening at the Mandarin, with good friends (although usually it's very busy)! The food was up to the usual high standard, with awesome toffee bananas to finish. The only slight downside was that the satay skewers were rather tough this time, and I missed the pineapple rice from the Peking feast. The service is always excellent, and this was no exception.

A lovely evening, thank you. The squid was ineadable but every thing else was terrific. The squid dish was removed from the bill and I left a nice tip for the great service.

The Mandarin fusion is an excellent Chinese restaurant with an excellent menu. We had a really good evening and The service was very good indeed.

The food was fantastic, the staff were all incredibly attentive; nothing was too much to ask. Drinks were served promptly and tables were cleared quickly. A great experience.

I was looking for a Chinese Restaurant in Bournemouth, The Mandarin website caught my eye so I booked in for a meal which turned out to be excellent in all respects, Good food, good service, and a good atmosphere. will certainly go again.

My 6th Visit to the Mandarin and by far the worst! The Food and Service were way below Par. It was a Massive Disappointment to my wife and I
