The food was amazing, choice was great, really impressive flavours and variety. Staff where friendly, accommodating and warm. Had the ability to buy some locally produced chutneys to take home and enjoy. Sincerely recommend as somewhere to eat if you appreciate good food.

The food was delicious and the serivce was excellent. The whole experience was most enjoyable. We could not fault anything and will definitely be returning.

This was a most enjoyable lunch. It was our first visit to RA but will not be our last visit. The food was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly.

Brilliant food. Had a lovely Sunday afternoon with my family friendly fast service and food was beautiful. Children’s menu was good and my little one ate it all which is rare.

Great Sunday lunch but more green veg would have been good. Also very good coffee. Couples beware also all tables were families with young children.

Although it was a busy service we sat down on time and we had Efficient service well cooked and well presented food. Good value meal

Sunday lunch is absolutely amazing. Beef was cooked to perfection. Baked alaska to die for. Staff very attractive.

We had a lovely meal. Service was very good. It was very busy so a good atmosphere. Menu had a lot of fish dishes and I felt another vegetarian dish wouldn't have gone amis. Overall very good. 👍

Excellent service and food . A really nice atmosphere at lunch time- we took our time and spent the whole afternoon there a lovely place for a family birthday meal.

Food and service both fantastic. Busy - it was a Saturday night - but the staff were friendly and welcoming, the food arrived perfectly on time, and the standard of the food was excellent. Great value, and we were not rushed to leave. Highly recommended.

Starters of soup and twice baked cheese shuffle both excellent. Fish chips and peas very good however the smoked haddock was extremely salty and the poached egg was hard. They did take this main off the bill without question which is good. Staff are pleasant and the ambience was good.

Fantastic food and fantastic service-nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and I had my 3 young children with me and they were very accommodating

Good food 🥘 we really enjoyed ourselves. We did wait a long time for drinks and had to ask twice for them but other than that everything was good.

We booked a table at lunchtime for a very special birthday. The food was excellent as always and the service was very good. We've never had a bad meal and we've been here for breakfast, lunch and an evening meal!

A relaxed experience with superb food. Friendly service. The menu is different with old classics given a new twist. The portions were more than generous which made our Sunday lunch good value for money. It was certainly one of the best Sunday lunches we have had in recent years. We have already booked for a return visit with friends.

Pleasant surroundings, good beer, good service. We had plenty to eat between the starter and main course. This is not a cheap place but was extremely popular during our visit. The rib eye steak just melted in my mouth!

Our favourite restaurant and only a mile from our door. The food is always exceptional as is the varied menu. The staff are very welcoming and professional. Got to get yourself there for the RA experience!

Visited last night, 19march. Had the free range chicken with chips and pepper sauce, Wonderful. Great pub, great atmosphere. Lovely roaring log fire. Bar staff very attractive

We booked brunch for 11:45 so lunch time really. The Ruddington Arms takes simple things like granola, toast and eggs to a different level. Fabulous.

The food was, as usual, very good. I had mussels with some fabulous bread to mop up the delicious broth. Excellent choice of wines too.

The Ruddington Arms is one of my favourite restaurants . Our visit was for a 'girls' night out . The service from the staff is excellent ,nothing too much trouble . Our meal was super delicious . Will be back again soon .

Was lovely food with great service and lovely ambience. Would highly reccomend and definitely will return. Haddock main and baked alaska in particular worth highlighting.
