Regular visitor to the Winged Ox and the St Luke’s venue. Fantastic atmosphere, great service and quality food and drinks. Highly recommend this place for a casual lunch or evening meal or just drinks and listing to some music.

Great atmosphere, staff are always on the ball, food is AMAZING! We have been a few times and will continue to visit.

There was so many things I wanted to try on the menu that I will definitely be back! We had the chicken wings to share for starter, and they are huge!!! I had the steak sandwich for main and it was so tasty. They bake their own bread too which was a plus!

Visited on Sunday 8 August for food before going onto the TRNSMT festival. We booked a table in advance which was just as well as it was busier than normal. We only had the table for a couple of hours as it was so busy but this wasn’t a problem as we were moving on anyway. I would definitely recommend to anyone to visit this venue for food & drinks. Food is delicious, good value for money & I for one, will be going back.

Great food and atmosphere , reasonably priced and staff were helpful. Live music was a wee bit loud for where we were sitting. Will come back again.

Really good food! The service was very good and even though my partner received the wrong meal, they gave us free drinks and replaced her meal.

First time here and very impressed with food drinks and service. A very atmospheric pub and because it was a lovely afternoon we were able to finish off our drinks in the beer garden. Will most definitely return!

Booked a table for 5pm to eat prior to a BBC show at the venue where we had to be seated by 6. Food order was not taken until 5.15 and not served until 5.50. We had to eat quickly with no time to enjoy our food and one member of our party bearly had time to eat anything as she had to go to queue to try and hold seats for the rest of us. Overall a very unsatisfactory experience although the food was good, the staff were very apologetic and clearly run off their feet.

Great atmosphere and helpful, attentive and relaxed staff. Food was great, steak cooked to my liking and very tasty with amazing onion rings. Would recommend and go back.

Came in for some food and to watch the football. Very chilled atmosphere and excellent service, even for a quiet night. Plenty of screens made for easy viewing. Definitely recommend!

Was told about the winged ox by family members and decided to give it a try, really liked the atmosphere and the food was really good. we had a nice and peasant visit. Will go again.

Never ever disappoints, one of my favourite pubs/restaurants in Glasgow! Food came out in good time & service is always lovely, couldn’t recommend it enough!

Atmosphere great, food delicious, staff an absolute pleasure and really good beer. Couldn't ask for better! Place was packed and it all still ran very well. Second time here, will be back!! Also, am vegan and food was good, had a delicious vegan Base pizza (no cheese, but after tasting it was more than happy without vegan cheese), previously had falafel burger but found it to be really dry and needed tomato or avocado with it to make it edible - but I did have bad hangover so could've contributed!! Wife (veggie not vegan) had three bean burrito and devoured it. Sweet potato fries also to die for!! Anyway, massive thumbs up :)

We visited for lunch on father's day. Great place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good food, drink & music. Dog & child friendly bar. Even though the bar & kitchen were very busy service was excellent.

Great quirky venue. Food was great and staff very helpful. Good selection of beers and lagers. Especially liked that dogs are welcome and kept on leads.

Another lovely meal. One point, my husband had tikka masala and enjoyed. Only moan was the portion size. Very poor. Woman at next table had more than twice his portion. I hate complaining so gave him my amazing chips which accompanied my tandoori fish kebab. Dessert was lovely and the staff are great. Just need better consultancy with portions.

As usual, lovely food, good atmosphere and service. Wee downside is that it was a bit stuffy and hot but then it was a very warm day!! Never disappoints!

Excellent service, felt as if I was looked after well. I think the atmosphere in the bar is excellent. It’s an easygoing environment where you can relax and enjoy the music!

Food and service was great though there is a small issue having to settle the bill after every round of the meal. You need to sort that. The outside rickety tables and benches made an uncomfortable eating experience, but i love that you let dogs in and will be back

Excellent time and the food was brilliant , cant wait to go back. Best idea is to book your table as its very busy which we done so had no problems .

Really like the place. Wee bit of a wait for the food, which we were told up front about, but not too long and good when it arrived. Would recommend.

Wonderful venue next to Glasgow Barras market. Good food at very reasonable prices. Nice drinks menu also well priced. Live music too, and probably the best waiting staff I have encountered in a long time. I will definitely go back.

Cracking atmosphere, great grub, lovely staff. It was the perfect wee start to a night heading in to the gig in St Luke’s (Nirvana unplugged ....wow).

The food is fantastic, generous portions and really tasty. Service was quick and attentive. Would highly recommend. Lovely place for gifs and events as well.

We had a meal at The Winged Ox before a BBC Scotland recording at St Luke's. It is a relaxed and friendly place to eat & drink and in an excellent location for events at St Luke's

Our two waiters / servers where absolutely great, quick, efficient and friendly. The food was also lovely and all three of my party enjoyed the experience.

Staff are very friendly, food also lovely, nice place to relax and watch the football, also toilets are very clean, very busy place, will be back to watch the next old firm 😁

All the staff were lovely, food was delicious and plenty of it. The nachos and the boneless chicken wings are yummy 😋 Food is very reasonably priced. Really good vibe in this place. Would highly recommend.

Enjoyed and excellent evening meal and couple of drinks at this venue. They have fantastic staff & food and a great stylish bar / restaurant.

There is a great atmosphere in the Winged Ox and we only had to wait ten minutes to be seated. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is first class. The bill was also very reasonable. This is our second visit here but we will be back again for my birthday in June. Thoroughly recommend it.

Food was lovely, excellent service. Lovely restaurant with nice, relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere chilled but excellent standard of food.

Fab food, drink and experience. Staff were very helpful and professional. Serves some good real ales, and is a lovely venue for a gig too.

Excellent food, ambience and service! Great veggie and fish choices, as well as lots for meat-eaters. Massive portions, and lots of doggies to pet on the way out 😊

Great atmosphere, great food and prompt service, what more could you ask for...oh yes great music. Will revisit in the summer when more of their outdoor facilities are available to enjoy.

The food was lovely and it was a very cosy wee pub. We didn’t stay for the quiz but maybe another time. Will probably bring my football team along to watch the football one day.

Food was fab, the spinach and kale starter was a nice surprise (order this) Staff were great and great atmosphere, cocktails were fab and love the menu layout, very quirky place, loved it, going back in a few weeks👍🏻
