Nice bar with cool decor. Food was good and a very fair price. There was a few things I wanted to try from the menu and will be back. I would recommend this bar.

Excellent, simply presented, food. No frills but decent quality. Attentive young staff who are a breath of fresh air compared to the usual city centre fair.

Great venue, great atmosphere and brilliant, friendly staff! Been twice in the last week , ate good food , drank excellent beer and watched top bands playing. Looking forward to going back.

People were not aware the burgers would be in Brioche rolls and said they wish they had known, but overall we had a good experience and members of the group enjoyed the food.

Great drinks list available with a number of different Gins, Rums and Beers. Good choice of food and the Venue is superb as a Music Venue.

Great place to have some drinks and or food, we had both and the food was lovely, fantastic that kids are allowed in until 9pm also, will most definitely be back again.

Quirky restaurant and uniquely offers dog menu, and 2 dogs were in for lunch with their owners whilst we were in. Food was good, but we had to send soup back as it was not hot.

Stuff were super friendly and helpful although I was really dissapointed by the food. I had a wrap thing, fish was lovely but it was with stir friend veg - but strange for a burrito. No salad or garnish, just a few chips. Not worth the money. With a little more thought and effort it could have been lovely.

Good atmosphere with good music , well to my taste , staff were first class and really helpful. Limited menu but hey it does not claim to cordon blue. Recommend venue for a good night .

Friendly efficient staff. Dogs are welcome and accepted by all. Chilli was delicious. Disappointed in grilled macaroni cheese as I didn't realise it was a toastie and also in the portion of the chocolate fudge cake. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would go back

Great 2 for 1 food offer with gig tickets for the Barras. Food was fantastic and service goof even though it was very busy. Will definitely be back again!

We've been to the winged ox loads of times since it opened and it's remained a firm favourite with us. Food has always been top class and the staff are the friendliest in any of the places we go. If we ask our wee boy where he would like to go, his answer is always the same...St Luke's! The staff give so much of their time to him (and seem happy to do this) and that means that myself and my husband aren't stressed out about him wandering around talking to everyone! The staff all appear to get on well and look happy at their work with makes for a lovely atmosphere....and as I said earlier the food is always great! We're happy, 3 year old is happy, we will continue to go to the winged ox! Thanks!

Food was great value and although i wasn't drinking I will definitely be back to sample the cocktail menu! I was greeted straight away by a really friendly member of staff who was helpful and attentive the whole evening. Overall a great night!

Tasty affordable grub with excellent fast service. Let us sit at the table until the gig venue opened. Perfectly cooked burgers and delicious sweet potato fries.

Staff and management are exceptional. Went with partner three kids and a birthday dog. Everyone LOVED it especially the birthday dog. Food was along the lines of especially well done pub grub with pastas chicken wings and burgers. Everything was clearly made from scratch. Can't wait to go back. Neither can my dog.

Amazing place, all ages, all breeds (dogs that is) i will be going again. Daily mussel special was very good i would recommend. My doggy says she recommends the lamb and rice.

Looks like a fantastic venue and we would really like to return to hear the big band only thing we didn't like was the TV screens on every wall. The staff very pleasant and attentive, the steak was cooked perfectly and the wine was lovely. I don't drink beer but my husband does and was very impressed with the range and quality.

This bar / restaurant is a really good place to go on a Sunday afternoon. Great food and brilliant live musician creating a really cool atmosphere.

The service was first class. A warm welcome before we were seated at the lovely booth table we had requested when we booked. The food was absolutely delicious - the brisket chilli was the best chilli I have ever tasted. Would highly recommend this place. Loved it and will definitely be back again and again!

Our trip was amazing. We have 2 very large dogs and one smaller one, all of which were catered for amazingly well and staff really went out of their way to accommodate us. The people were also really happy and the food was fantastic!

Fantastic!! Service and food were great, can't fault it and will definitely be back. Charlie Miller sarnie was delicious and a very fussy teenager loved the macaroni. Even our furbaby ate every bit of his lunch and enjoyed all the attention he got from staff.

Staff really friendly. Nice atmosphere and good hearty pub food. They even let us bring a birthday cake and lit candles for us. I'd highly recommend.

Fabulous wee gem of a place. Amazing food. Very reasonably priced. I have totally recommended this. Really good cocktail menu. Only thing is there are only 4 desserts but they are all worth it.
