nice atmosphere. good selection of food and helpful staff. Great for vegans but self service is not everyone choice and carrying drinks downstairs is not the best experience An option of table service would make a big improvement for evening meals
a little expensive but very nice atmosphere a laerger choice of drinks would be better and more hot dishes Rice pudding and bread pudding would be welcome
A good restaurant with fantastic food and exceptionally friendly staff. Good choice of vegetarian and vegan food all well labeled. A wide range of drinks as well.
Fantastic service . They couldn't do enough for us . Thank you . It was my birthday and everyone in the party left happy .
relaxed atmosphere & downstairs area great for big group. Being help yourself made it very sociable without the hassle of waiting for everyone to order at the table.
Perfect fun restaurant for vegans to take non vegan friends to. Quick for pre-theatre, delicious, healthy and fresh food. Help yourself buffet beautifully laid out around the “boat”.
It was very busy on the day we visited and as a result our table was a bit small for our party of five but the food was delicious.
A lovely little restaurant tucked away in a side street. Glad we booked for 6pm on Saturday, as it got busy soon after. Great variety of vegetarian dishes and even my fussy children managed to find something they liked to eat. Pay by weight per plate,so up to you as to how much you want.
The food was rather expensive for a lunch and this meant that I would think carefully about coming again. Don't think the weighing idea is so good. Buffet OK.
The best vegan place in town!!!Just LOVE it! Delicious main course: choices hot and cold. But the best part of course the vegan cakes!!! way too yummy!!
Booked table for six, some had been there before, some had not. As previously experienced, Service, food, drinks and atmosphere, were all excellent. Thank you.
The variety of foods was astounding and it was all so tasty. It made a nice change to go to a veggie restaurant that had the variety of different foods to try. All our party enjoyed the food, even the meat eaters among us!
Vegan food in abundance, beautifully set out on the food island. I was adventurous and tried a few dishes I would not normally order in a conventional restaurant, all scrumptious.
Wonderful service and excellent food! Also, try the incredible to die for chocolate, pear and coconut cake! It was incredible :) We all highly recommend!
Nice restaurant vibe but very over priced. You also have a problem of trying to take your plate and paying if you have any personal items like a bag with you. Is the food good; yes it’s a good veggie option. Would I go back? Probably not due to price and security
Food tasted good and nice ambience. However, I feel I am not a fan of having to get my food, pay first and then carry back to the table. Would much rather prefer table service. Being seated downstairs meant I had to carry my tray of food down some narrow steps and avoid spilling it all. Also, I ordered a large glass of red wine, but they had run out of large sized glasses, so the attendant filled a small glass to the brim instead which I thought was poor judgement. Carrying this overfilled glass on my tray down the stairs meant, I spilt a fair bit of it. I would say this is more of a lunch place than for dinner.
Nice atmosphere, great food, definitely will visit again! PS: Infant I already did 😜
Nice selection of food with a good choice of vegan options. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and the location is lovely . A little pricey.
The food was ok but fairly expensive for the what it was. I think having to pay by 100 g defeats the idea of a buffet and all in all the experience was not great. In addition, the toilets are a disgrace.
Good fresh food, although expensive. One of the lady working on the till yesterday evening (brunet to darkish skin colour) could indeed be more friendly and polite though (she needs to be further trained). But good service generally, as indicted below.
Nice atmosphere and good buffet system but for a veggie restaurant there aren't many varied salads of green options and the food is quite stodgy. £10 was the average plate weight and we were still hungry afterwards. We sat downstairs and the ventilation is so bad to the point you come away with your clothes smelling strongly of the kitchen's cooking. They need to sort that out!
Great quality food with a wide selection, fantastic service, plus a friendly, relaxed and chic environment. We were a big mixed group and all loved it.
Food was not very good or different, it was a very basic food. Nothing special. Especially if you take in account that the food has the same price as any other much better restaurant. I went with friends , don’t think I would be back by my own or with another set of friends. With so many options in London , Tibbits should really step it up. Service was low quality also , nobody at the door to seat me and staff was not friendly.
Always a fabulous place to eat. Not only is the food amazing but you can spend as long as you like eating and drinking, making it the perfect place to get together with friends
Simply amazing food and lovely staff, in a really beautiful and relaxed setting. The selection of foods blew me away, I'll be going back for sure!
The food, quality and variety is always amazing! We love the atmosphere and space at this restaurant and the staff are always wonderful! Easily my favourite vegetarian and vegan restaurant in London!!
Good, healthy food. A bit expensive, but there's a wide variety, I'd certainly return. Since it's buffet style with many options that address different dietary requirements, it's quite easy for everyone to find something to eat.
Always a great place to go with excellent food, lovely ambience and wonderful staff. You I'll enjoy the varied selection of foods and choices and the pay for what you eat system means it's with you to decide on size and portion control.
Lovely food All whipped away very quickly though - not enough time to complete our meal Service virtually non existent I will regutn with more time available before the kitchen stops serving!
The staff are friendly and professional and the food is top notch! If you're looking for great vegetarian/vegan food, this place certainly will not disappoint.
Interesting and delicious selection of buffet food. Good service and helpful staff. Can sit inside or out and there always seems plenty of tables. Reasonably priced.
Really nice atmosphere and nice staff. Strange layout re paying for your food after you've been to the buffet bar, let's your food go cold.
I like the concept of Tibits. There is always a great choice and the price is very reasonable. I took my sister who lives in Canada where there is limited choice for vegans and she loved it.
Good experience and great food! We really enjoyed the different types of dishes and the various vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food options that were on offer. Awesome!
As a vegan I am really happy that this restaurant exists (and now there is a second branch) and I really like the food but I do have an issue with the pricing. It's a pay-by-weight restaurant so you fill your plate from the buffet and then take it to be weighed. In theory this isn't a bad concept - you might think twice about overloading your plate and then wasting food if you can't finish it all. But the problem is that I feel the food is really overpriced. I had a very reasonable plate, not piled up in any way, mostly salad and vegetables and I was charged £13.40 for it. There were no exotic expensive ingredients on my plate as far as I could tell so I really don't think the price was justified. I think the high prices will mean many people will visit once and not return and I think this is the biggest problem as it will discourage people from eating vegetarian or vegan food rather than encourage them. The decor is nice, there's not much service to speak of as it's help-yourself and you pay at the counter. The food itself was tasty. Not the most adventurous vegan food I've had but there were at least plenty of vegan options beside the vegetarian ones and even several vegan desserts, which is unusual. Good selection of beer and wine and cocktails too. All in all a pleasant experience and maybe nice on occasion but unjustifiably expensive for frequent visits.
Amazing! Went with friends. Finally variety for a vegan!!! Location great. Drinks nice. Friendly staff. They also have awesome food. Would be going a lot
One of the best vegetarian restaurants we have eaten at. Great selection of hot and cold dishes. Have been many times and on our last visit with our young granddaughters who loved the experience.
Fab restaurant with really delicious food and loads of options, both hot and cold. Desserts are a must! Cocktails are good prices too. Lovely atmosphere, relaxing.
Nice but too expensive for a self service canteen. You collect the food yourself from a display and pay at a till. They were nice people but really I paid £16 for a plate of vegetables that I served myself. If it was say £10 I would say.. excellent. But or £16 you want something extra.
Not quite the usual range of dishes but still very good. Will definitely visit again or try the Bankside branch. Good choice of drinks as well as food.
Lovely place! Nice atmosphere, intimate. Food was fresh and delicious! I'm not vegetarian or vegan but I will go back, especially for the desserts ! Was great to see my vegan daughter fill her plates! Highly recommend!
The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. The buffet food is fresh and you are spoiled for choice. Hot and cold dishes and divided on two levels. The different flavours on offer seemed to balance well. The lentil salad was especially good. Complimentary bread is available. In addition to the buffet desserts, there is a wonderful range of cakes at the counter. The drinks menu is good too, including unusual options such as Kir Royale. The buffet can be busy and you may wait a little to pay. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food.
Superb vegan/vegetarian food that is sold by weight. Plenty of hot/cold dishes. Good selection of reasonably priced wines and beers. My favourite restaurant in London.
My friends and I always meet at Tibits in Hedfon Street. Food is lovely and it's very central! Very nice setting and friendly helpful staff
The venue is great concept - wish there was more warm food options. We were sat downstairs but as it was a birthday treat it would have been nice to be accommodated upstairs.
Fantastic, friendly staff! The food was so good as always. Nice, chilled atmosphere. It was for my birthday meal, and went as smoothly as I had wished for - Thank you :-)
I ate at Tibits today with my team from work, the food was delicious, really fresh and lots of different dishes to choose from. The location is great with nice outdoor seating.
Lovely food and it's great that, if you're spending the evening there and keeping the drink flowing, you can 'top up' with your favourites from the food bar at any time. Staff were helpful and friendly. A very pleasant experience, especially on a warm summer's evening.
The idea was good, but i didn't having to grab my hot food and wait in queue for 15 minutes, waiting for someone to weigh my plate. Food started to get cold on top.
really great selection of vegetarian food. lovely chilled atmosphere with plenty of room downstairs to take your time with your meal and enjoy the candlelit ambience
