Great family oriented food, especially sharing starters. Good flavours in the food.

Good decision to go to restaurant after such a long time. Food very good, service was a little confusing, but very pleasant with lovely smiles. Will go again.

We were celebrating some good news which was made all the more perfect because of the delicious food and drinks and very jolly waitresses.

Absolutely fab place. Our waitress Charlie made us feel wonderfully welcome and our compliments go to Rosa for the food which was simply divine. We first went there in 1999 with our young kids. Yesterday we returned with them - now adults. The food is just as amazing as it was then.

Although a really busy Saturday night the service was really good and the food was excellent. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We have eaten here many times before, food as good as ever, but service was very poor. Restaurant was full to bursting, there were a lot of large parties dining, certainly slowed down service. Thought it would be a good idea if they limited the party size to about 8,a party of about 12 turned up, possibly too many people for this size restaurant. However, will DEFINITELY return again.

Food was great as always and was a busy night but not impressed at all with service. Some drinks didn’t arrive, others were wrong. Was especially surprised when the waitress offered molé that when asked what it tasted like by one of our party she said ‘I don’t actually know’ - when asked to describe it she said ‘it’s black’. Icing on the cake was settling the final bill. Having taken in to account it was a busy night and maybe just a bad night, we went to settle the bill. We asked if we could split the bill in half and pay on card only to be told ‘what is half of [total bill], I’m not good at maths. The till does it for me’. The lady stood there looking until I produced my phone calculator and did it. Not sure what has happened with service here but very unimpresssed.

A great visit. Staff were so kind and helpful, nothing too much trouble and certainly went the extra mile. Food was wonderful as we remembered from years ago. Thank you for helping to make a family celebration so enjoyable.

Had a lovely first visit to Casa Mexicana, Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and we had fun picking from the extensive menu. Getting there early was good if you like a little quiet as by the time we had finished the place was packed with a really good atmosphere. So overall good food and a good experience, hope to return!

What a fab restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, tasty and hot. Very generous portions which could actually be scaled down a bit as we struggled to eat it all. Vibrant atmosphere. Great cocktails. Was our first visit tonight but we will definite eat there again. Absolutely wonderful evening, brilliant service and wonderful food and drink. Casa Mexicana is an all-round fantastic eating experience and is perhaps one of Bristol's best restaurants which has consistently produced the finest calamari in the South West.

Excellent food and surroundings...as always. Been going her for more than 20 years and it is an outstanding restaurant. Staff are amazing too! Can highly recommend 10/10
