Casa Mexicana

As usual, good quality food and lots of it. Service was friendly and efficient, despite it being a busy evening. I would recommend to anyone.

We enjoyed our meal and the food was good and at the beginning of the meal the service was good and the food arrived quite quickly. The main downside was that the food was not cleared away at the end of the meal - until we asked for the bill it was a Saturday evening and very busy but still the empty plates should be taken away. No one asked re dessert. We were happy that we could take some of the uneaten food away with us. Thanks . We would come back.

Best Mexican in Bristol the service and food is amazing. Wouldn't go anywhere else for Mexican food. Would highly recommend it to anyone! We love it there

Food was amazing as always with very large portions. The only negative comment no one came back to offer us desserts or coffee which would have finished the meal off.

As always amazing service nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff, the food was even better. Always a lovely atmosphere in there bit of Mexican music playing. Happy times

Great food, great service, and this was the second visit within two weeks. The portions were large, the nachos were amazing and we felt the drinks were reasonably priced, great sangria!

Great food and great service. The food there is always very good. We sat outside and it was a lovely, relaxing evening. If you like quality Mexcan food this is the place to go.

Good food and service. . A rather long wait between courses but pleasant ambience. Deßerts rather too large to finiish as was main for most of us but enjoyable meal.

Good atmosphere, friendly staff, booking all good. Lovely seat in the window. Food was good. Unfortunately for some reason people around us who arrived after us all seemed to get their main courses about 20 minutes before us? They said they had lots of orders on but we were clearly an overlooked order. Never mind nice evening.

Everything was amazing apart from the food was luke warm. Pet hate of mine. Service was great. Location was a bit far out of town.

Lovely food; bit of a mixup with the booked table as those of our party who arrived early were seated at one table and later members of the party directed to another (not in sight of each other). All sorted out well.

We had our 10th annivarsary there. We enjoied a lot. Very kind people to serve us, very nice food. We had a little privacy to have the most out of it. It could not turn out better!

having just watched the south park episode on yelp. writing this review did make me laugh a bit. Casa mexicana is a nice restaurant, been there before. I ate mexican food, it was good, i'll go again.

The food was excellent and the service friendly and welcoming.My only gripe is that the portions were so big that I definitely ate too much, self inflicted I know.

Great restaurant, staff, environment and decor. However, food wasn't spicy enough for us. Ask for extra heat if you like your Mexican food like that. Go early, gets very busy.

Great food, great service. Shame about the cigarette smoke blowing in from outside, but it was nice to have the door open for fresh air between the smokers!

Great tasting food (although the dips were on the small side compared to the amount of tortilla chips). Alcohol list quite limited for my tastes. Staff were helpful and prompt with service. I'd go back to casa mexicana again.

Staff was very friendly. Nachos and fajitas were delicious and served in timely manner. Music was slightly loud but soon was spotted by member of staff and the volume reduced.

It's a great restaurant however we had a couple of issues on this visit. 1) We had to wait too long for our drinks and food to be delivered to our table, and ended up asking the staff as a reminder and 2) One of our party had steak, ordered as medium to well-done. However, it turned up rare. It was returned to the kitchen but on re-deilvery it was still quite red.

The atmosphere was buzzing, the food excellent as always, the servers very polite. If I have one criticism, it is that the "mexican" piped music was a little loud. It's an age thing, I don't like to have to raise my voice during normal conversation to be heard.

We were shown to our table which was a little cramped to be honest but the decor and atmosphere was as a whole good. The price of a meal was reasonable and the food was good however, we felt the dishes could have been seasoned better. Not a bad place at all and the service was with a smile but thats just it we thought everything was just ok nothing really wowed us.

Nice welcoming restaurant! Great service and a very good menu. A good choice of drinks too, including draught San Miguel and some decent Mick rails too if you're driving. Would definitely go again! The chorizo was excellent.

The staff were amazing, they made a cocktail up especially for my boyfriend after he showed them an example, they bought him tequila with a candle in it and gave him a sombrero, the food was delicious and you certainly get what you pay for, lovely atmosphere, can't rate it enough!

Service was attentive and responsive. Food was delicious and well presented. This restaurant, really does stand out from all the 'Mexican chain' establishments, that seem to crop up in every city. A little of the 'City Center' beaten track, and not always the easiest of places to find parking, but well worth the effort. Looking forward to warmer evenings, when we can sit outside and just watch the world go by. Highly recommended.

Food excellent, but service slow, a real shame. It was a while for us between visits, there seemed to be a distinct lack of staff.

We love Casa Mexicana. It is where we have all our occasions. The food is amazing and the staff very helpful. Needs more types of tequila on its drinks list.

The service and food were very good. If we had any complaint, it was that, despite sitting near a radiator, the room temparature could have been a little higher. Otherwise, a very enjoyable experience.

Nice food and hor when it arrived. Service was very good. It was a little loud on our visit with a large table of diners and the waitress did seat us in the smaller section which helped a little. We had a very pleasant meal

I have eaten many times at Casa Mexicana and always had great service and good food. This time was very disappointing. The main meals were not very warm and when the coffees arrived they were cold. I did inform the waitress about the coffees and they then got us hot ones but all this added to how I felt.
