Casa Mexicana

Fabulous service and food and an extensive gluten free menh which made me feel very welcome and we'll looked after as a customer with coeliac disease.

Very busy, staff were doing their best but we're very over whelmed with the amount of bookings they had. Starters we had the chorizo nachos which was nice. Mains we had the sharing 'Ultimate' fajitas. This was a mixture of chicken, steak and king prawns. The king prawns were impressive but the steak was very chewy! I'd probably just stick to chicken or prawn if I was to return. I went here on a date night with my boyfriend but we couldn't really hear each other as it was so loud in there. Eat here on a recommendation but don't think I'll be recommending it myself.

Good service and very tasty food, good atmosphere and a nice venue with character, but a little cool when we first sat down, either the door or air conditioning.

The food was excellent, the place was clean, staff were super friendly. Service was a bit slow but it was very busy and the server was new. She did a good job of making us feel welcome despite the slow service. I do think she was going as fast as possible.

Mixed feelings about our trip to Casa Mexicana. Booked it for my daughter's 20th birthday as it was one of the first Mexican restaurants her dad and I ever went to nearly 25 years ago. Hadn't been back since and though the food was good it was not spectacular and the restaurant was packed which meant we were stuck in a corner of one the back rooms with hardly any room to put the dishes on and felt rushed through our meal. My daughter's drink order came very late and my coffee very early so I ended up sipping my rosé along with my coffee. On the positive we were late and they were very accommodating for a table for 4 and our waitress, Charlie, was brilliant and very attentive. I am glad I went back but this is where my trip down this particular memory lane will stop I am afraid.

We had a great night, the service was friendly,efficient and considerate. The food was tasty, well presented and filling. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone !

Happy Staff at the Restaurant, waitress was very engaging with us. It was very busy but we were well looked after. Food and Drink was excellent.

Very slow service, I think they may have been understaffed. Took nearly 2 hours to get our meal. Food was good so would still go again

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Sangria, perfect, need I say more? Meat. Mmm Even though they had two big parties, the service was timely. We will certainly be returning. (Not with my tinder date, though) Overall - swipe right.

Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. There was a little bit of waiting for drinks and food to be served but it was very busy. Nice buzzing atmosphere.

Really good mexican food, nice cocktails and good atmosphere! Always happy with the food and service here. Restaurant has authentic decoration makes me feel like I'm on holiday!

We were greeted by friendly staff, the food was served very quickly and was of good quality. The restaurant was very busy but this did not effect the service. Will definitely visit again when I want my Mexican food fix, highly recommended a visit!

Always a great experience. Food always fresh and hot. Service polite and generally speedy. Portions good size. Love coming here for a meal. Love it!

Lovely food and brilliant service. The food is bought out in a nice amount of time and you are never left without a drink should you want another. Lovely atmosphere and very helpful staff!

As someone who has eaten copious mounts of Mexican food, Casa Mexicano does it with authenticity, quality and care in their cooking. It took me back to being a child, growing up in south west Texas at the border of Mexico!

I hadn't been to this restaurant for a long time and can't work out why . Everything about it was Excellent. It's got to be one of the best restaurants in Bristol

Lovely food, only issue was the card machine stopped working so husband and everyone else had to get cash from cash point. Then we were asked if we wanted the change! I guess they had little float!

Steak was over cooked and so tough it was hard to cut. But they apologised and gave us some money off. It's been great ever other time we have been, so I'm sure it was just a slight slip up! The rest of the food was delicious.

Welcoming polite and friendly service. Although busy the wait for our food wasn't long and the quality was excellent and plenty of it. Good value for money.

Service was slow. Apart from that lovely meal and highly recommended. Food was delicious as always. Great prices. Would go back again. Great for a romantic meal.

Great food but the staff got way less efficient the busier the restaurant was, and we had to wait 20 minutes to get the bill

Wonderful as always. Very helpful staff and the portions are generous and extremely delicious. Never too difficult to get a space although it's always busy :)

Food and drinks were good, specially sangria but we got a table just by the door which wasn't very nice experience with people passing all the time. I don't understand why some places do that, squeeze tables wherever possible just to get more people, they should put one in the toilet.

Nice atmosphere and good friendly service, my own dish, a vegie one with Rice and Sweet Potatoe was huge but not that tasty. Maybe I chose a bad one. Had better experiences here previously.

Casa Mex was great on all counts - the food was excellent as was the service - not only quick but pleasant, food portions were generous and surprisingly well priced. Can't wait to go again.

Very good service and very good quality food. Slightly cramped seating as squashed into the corner but overall very enjoyable meal out. We would go again.

Amazing food, great place and atmosphere. My only negative was that the food took ages (about an hr to come out) but tbh the restaurant was full and a Saturday night so these things happen. Wont stop me from coming back.

There was seven people in our party and we all had an absolutely excellent meal at Casa Mexicana and the service was super. And the cost was very affordable.

The food was great. It had a cosy atmosphere with cool music. unfortunately didn't get to try the range of Tequillas. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
