Typically friendly and lively Only 'concerns' - no coat rack and the first drinks took a while to come. But then food, drink and service all good

Over hour wait on drinks for 3 people on Thursday evening. Prices high for quality of food. Ordered Beef Chimichanga thinking strips of beef but given mince meat. Definately would not recommend and we wanted to go back as this was one of our favourite restaurants from years ago

Friendly service in a lively restaurant. Food was good, but not exceptional but a great place for an entertaining evening with a group of people. Wine list satisfactory

We’re have a 2 year old and a 7 month old and have been here a few times at 6pm. They always make us feel welcome ( which of you have little one know that’s not always the case) and it’s quiet enough for us not to disturb others. Service and food always excellent. Would definitely recommend to lovers of Mexican food x

Service very amateur- have a bundle of gripes but having our mains brought over literally seconds after swallowing the last mouth full of our starter was not good. When pointing this out to the waitress she looked at me like a rabbit in the headlights, said nothing and left leaving us to get on with it. Also worse Margarita ever - tasted cheap and artificial.

Food was good and it was great that there was a menu available for vegan diners. Considering it was Tuesday and we arrived just after opening (quite early 6:15ish), service wasn’t very speedy. The waitresses were helpful and friendly. Would certainly go there again.

A warm and friendly welcoming from the time we walked in the door until we left. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We could not fault anything of the food either. As there were 4 of us as it was mine and my husbands birthdays It was made a perfect birthday. Thanking you very much

Fantastic food, and a fantastic atmosphere. Best Mexican restaurant in Bristol bar none. Go for the Chocolate, Banana, Coconut Quesadilla desert, you won't be disappointed!

Not many nachos in the starter but a lot of toppings. One of us ordered steak and got pork. Was told the chef would do a steak immediately but, by the time it eventually arrived, the other 2 members of the group had almost finished their meals so had to sit and watch as the 3rd member ate his steak alone. Manager came and kept apologising saying they were very busy. It was a Saturday night - they're always busy!!! She did offer us a pudding or coffee on the house but we just wanted to leave. 10% was taken off the bill but that's just basically the gratuity!

This is a very busy restaurant on a Saturday night, and as we came a a party of six we were surprised at how well the staff looked after us and how quick we were served. The food was really fresh and of good quality and everyone went home happy!

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food very good with excellent service. We didn't have to wait long for our meals and it was ample portions even the fajitas for one would be enough for 2

Excellent Mexican feast! Page portion size on the fajitas, not stingy with the meat like some places. Great service and a large selection of tequilas - what more could you want. Ambience of the restaurant is nice and relaxing, romantically lit and welcoming.

Good food terrible service. Took ages to bring us drinks and generally forgot about us. 1 hour 20 mins later after having o get up and ask for more drinks waitress asked if we wanted to see dessert menu, really no we haven't even had our mains turn up yet!!!

There were a couple of small issues, incorrect drink, my partner received the normal steak rather than the special steak he asked for. Perhaps our waitress just needed some more training but it was the worst experience we have had there for the food and and service. It was a shame as we have had a couple of really great meals there before and had brought friends with us this time.

Tables were too small for party of six. Service was excellent to begin with but got a little slower as the evening progressed and the restaurant got much busier.

Good service, great food, friendly staff, party atmosphere. |Although the restaurant was noisy later that just added to the ambience. One drawback when it's busy is the restricted access to the toilets. Overall an enjoyable evening to celebrate my 70th birthday.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at Casa Mexicana. We had 2 children under 2 with us which can be very stressful but the staff were amazing, making us feel very welcome and seated us to help with space requirements. Our food was delicious and plenty of it. Will be going back now we have found this little gem!

Food reasonably good, but service slow, and they completely forgot our starter until, eventually, we reminded them. We were then asked whether we would like it "now" or "with the main course", and "now" turned out to mean ten minutes later. Restaurant not especially full, so this was rather disappointing.

Really nice food, had the Nachos ( massive portion!) and Chimichanga. Staff were friendly but not very attentive. Especially at the end of the evening when there was only us and 3 other tables, took 30 mins just to get the bill and make payment.

The waiting staff forgot about us, and the food was pretty average compared to last visit which was excellent. Won't be coming back in a hurry, unfortunately.
