Lovely table overlooking the pond. The Special Menu before 7.00pm was good, service a bit slow but very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Friendly and helpful staff, but slightly chaotic and disappointing experience. Service a bit slow. We were offered someone else's main course before we had received our first course. Our main course was first offered to a neighbouring table before coming to us with the result that it wasn't as hot as it might have been. The rib eye seemed a bit tough. A request for more water was forgotten and had to be repeated 10 minutes later. Not convinced the tablet ordering system working satisfactorily. Also a bit noisy. Strange that the expensive conversion did not appear to include sound absorbing insulation on the ceiling. Must be deafening when full and busy.

We found the booking arrangements excellent as was the friendly greeting and the offer of a choice of the available tables. We liked the menu in line with other Cote restaurants, the food was delicious, and the service helpful and friendly. Very well done.

We asked for a jug of water (it was a very hot day) to be brought as soon as we sat down. Sadly it took two more requests for it to come. This contrasted sharply with the excellent service otherwise and tasty, well-presented food.

Great addition to Barnes and the normal high standards of Cote. Lovely salads, steak and wine as norm. Will definitely return for more visits and take new people

This was our first visit & we thought it was brilliant. We had our 10 month old granddaughter with us & the staff couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. The food was excellent the staff extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend to anyone @ we’ll be returning!

Good service , pleasant & airy feel, great location.food meets the standard of the chain. Fills a gap in this area. Will come again definitely.

I booked online with Quandoo. I asked for a banquette if possible. I was sent a message to review Cote before the actual booking. I phoned the restaurant. They couldn't find my booking. The y finally found my name but was using my surname as a Christian name. They had the incorrect time for the booking. This was corrected but on entering the restaurant they had no knowledge of a request for a banquette. I would book with care at this restaurant because it's large size and hard surfaces make this locale incredibly noisy. The conversational volume escalates until normal speech is almost impossible.

Enjoyed my visit. Garlic bread could do with some work though. Newly opened store and they certainly made an effort to go the extra mile.

Excellent value set menus - simple food, correctly prepared, delivered by friendly staff, in a pleasant - if slightly boring - interior. Our staff were outstanding, efficient and friendly, but some have been brought in from established branches so there may be a dip when they return to their home restaurants. By far the best value restaurant for miles around.

Visited on Tuesday lunchtime for my father’s 79th birthday. We had a brilliant table outside overlooking the pond, the service was fantastic, the food delicious and fantastic value, plus they went the extra mile to help us celebrate my Dads birthday in style. I’m absolutely delighted we chose Cote for this lunch and will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed our evening, staff very attentive and helpful, the air con blowing down our necks somewhat but that was turned off as soon as they were made aware. Food very nice and very reasonably priced wine. Tables not too close to each other so noise levels kept to a minimum. We’ll go back.

We had a lovely dinner at Cote in Barnes. The setting, food and service were lovely. We particularly appreciated the wine recommendations we received from our waitress.

A welcome new restaurant to Barnes, good service and a nice menu. Staff were prompt and helpful as well. Will be planning to return in the future.

Great service, delicious food and drink. Ingredients all French so a real taste of Framce. In particular enjoyed the steak frites and the Breton fish stew. A very enjoyable Fathers Day meal. Thank you.

Excellent value on the fixed price menus. The Breton chicken was particularly good. Côte has a good-sized and very good value wine list. The Corbieres at about £22 was just right. Friendly service and a great location overlooking Barnes Common.

First visit since Côte opened a couple of weeks ago. Very welcoming, friendly and professional staff. Good food and wine at a decent price. I will book again.

Portions generous but apart form the guy who is from the Sloane Square branch service awful. Very noisy it need some acoustic panels put on walls or ceiling.

The Manager was fantastic. There is such a good choice of food including two set price menus. We had a table outside with a view of the pond. Excellent service and food.

Lovely meal a welcome addition to Barnes, minor point seeing all staff leaving through the restaurant doesn’t look good. Good service, Prestige menu good value too.

Great to have a French Brasserie in Barnes again after all this time. We had a great night and I look forward to going back!

Food was delicious. Cooked perfectly. Service very attentive and helpful. The only issue was the wine was not chilled enough. Setting stunning...thoroughly recommend this Cote.

Great service and food. Nice buzzy atmosphere. Our chips came a few minutes late so were removed from the bill. It's a fantastic venue and I hope they maintain this very good start here in Barnes

A great new restaurant for Barnes. It was good to see the place full of happy customers. The staff are friendly and helpful. The choice of food is excellent.

We went along on the opening night of the Barnes restaurant and received a pleasant and friendly welcome. The service was excellent, with plenty of engagement from various members of staff. They clearly had experienced staff brought in from other branches for the opening, but let's hope it remains as good once the honeymoon phase is over. The food was just as you'd expect from Cote - the rib eye was beautifully rare, fries crisp and the salad crisp and nicely dressed. Good value and an all round lovely experience.
