Great food and helpful attentive staff Early diner menu excellent value ! Will be back this week My fussy 17yr old daughter ate every bit!!

Slow service, not busy but food took a while. The team did not seem to be working effectively together. Front of house put us next to a very noisy group table when they could easily have put us elsewhere. Other couples left before being served. Been 3 times since opening - this was by far the worst experience so far. Disappointing....☹️

Well trained and friendly staff. Good and varied menu. Quality and presentation of food excellent. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Will come again.

Food excellent, as were service and courtesy. Knocked down a point on rating because out of stock of wine I selected (Viognier). Will certainly return soon.

The atmosphere was comfortable you could hold a conversation with loads of background noise. Service good staff helpful. Enjoyed the food thought the portions were small. Overall enjoyed the envening.

Service extremely slow. Camembert starter very disappointing - mostly onion relish, very little cheese served on over crispy/burnt bread. Dessert choice becoming boring as they don't vary much each month.

Could not cope with the demand , been many times before, very disappointed as I took my son and his partner Who were home for the weekend.

The Côte is really nicely done following the change from Hale bar & grill. Much more space and less noisy. Lovely food, great service - we will be back!

Booking on line was very easy and the food and service was very good. Bottle of free wine was also very enjoyable. Will book again soon.

Lovely meal with excellent service. I had the calamari to start followed by the ribeye steak. Both were very good. Will definitely be returning to Cote.

Lovely bistro style meals enjoyed by self and 3 colleagues, made even better by welcoming, friendly and attentive staff, rounded off topped with a fine bottle of house white.

Very good. Staff very helpful and attentive. Food good apart from calamari which was over cooked again. Steak frites lovely as always. Berries with white chocolate sauce could do with more sauce rather than half a jug you need more.

Poor food, good service, decor is dull, no bar. Very dissatisfied, as we live locally we expected cote to be top notch, as we experienced a great meal in London

Lovely evening out. All three courses we had were delicious and we received excellent service from the moment we arrived. Very good value as well. Definitely recommend to others.

First visit. The food was amazing. Best pork belly I have ever tasted. Staff and service were faultless. Will definitely be back. Really good to see a new kid on the block that's sensibly priced too

We are now regulars at Cote restaurant because it is reliably good. It is the only restaurant were we have three courses, this is because the portions of each serving is perfect, never over facing. There is always a good choice and menus are changed every month so there is always something new to try. The quality of the food is excellent as are the prices. Staff are polite, efficient and friendly. It is now our favourite restaurant in Hale.

Very polite and efficient. Good service and great food. The sea bass was swapped for hake and the staff were very apologetic that they had run out. They were happy to change the dish to suit myself and it was delicious . Will definitely be back soon

The menu was quite varied and interesting. The quality of the food was good and very nicely presented. Service was very slow but when it arrived the waiters were most pleasant and professional. (It would have been nice to have been offered bread or rolls and butter.

We have very good service, in a nice and relaxed environment, with reasonable food. We just had mains but will try the starter next time.

My husband and I had lunch at Cote on Easter Sunday and we had a lovely experience. The food was delicious and the service was first rate. We shall certainly be returning in the near future.

Service was good and waiting staff friendly and professional. However there were ants on the table (only a couple, not a trailing army but enough that I kept brushing my arms at the slightest twinge something may be touching me). The food was fine but a little bland.

Very good exactly as it said good value and attentive service. We'd go back again and really recommend the veal. The whole meal was simply delicious

Good food and excellent service, but the menu a bit limited, so only on the list for an occasional, rather than a regular visit. Main negative issue was the 12.5% optional service charge, which we think is taking the mickey. We always leave a tip if the service is good - but like to decide how much - and really object to this being stuck on the bill - for a big party, maybe acceptable, but for a party if 2, think not! Be interested to know how many people don't spot service has been added and add even more! Sharp practice in our view.

Visited with my wife and family for lunch. The food was fabulous, the service faultless and the ambiance spot on. We would all definitely be returning and we would most certainly recommend. Truly fabulous place in our beautiful friendly village.

Enjoyed a meal for two here with my husband. To start I had duck liver pate and my husband had black pudding with a poached egg and for main course I had duck and my husband had chicken. Both meals were cooked to perfection. The service was good and very efficient Staff were friendly and smiling We will be back for more

Excellent food, ambiance, well trained staff and value for money. Cote Brasserie is now our favourite restaurant in Hale village, amongst much good competition. Highly recommended

Great food at an excellent price. We had the pre-theatre menu which is £10.95 for 2 courses and £12.95 for 3 courses - the food was fantastic, I would have happily paid double that for it. It's just simple French food done well, nothing too adventurous but nice flavours and pairings cooked well - especially true given the price of the early dinner menu. The venue is nice, simple, clean, spacious and the staff were fantastic. Will certainly be back.

Good food. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Service with a smile and attentive, unlike the way a few restaurants in the area. I'd avoid the 1/2 chicken as it wasn't what I would call rotisserie

Not authentically French, no atmosphere. Background music way too, loud, acoustics poor. Food & beverage offering average at best. Service OK, but nothing out of the ordinary. Won't be going back again.

Excellent service from the booking confirmation to being greeted and shown to your table which you are able to choose! The waiter gives you details of specials and recommendations. Cooked to perfection and delicious

I really like the ambience of this restaurant; it is stylish but not pretentious, very comfortable and welcoming. Tables are a good size (I often find restaurant tables for two are very small). The service is very friendly, prompt and attentive without being intrusive. And the most important thing is the food, which is excellent, and reasonably priced. The menu is very interesting and varied and now they have a vegetarian menu, which suits me. The other thing I really like about it is there is no music; many restaurants in Hale have loud music to accompany your meal, which really detracts from the pleasure of the meal. Overall, faultless, and I would recommend it highly.
