Côte Hale

Their steak frites is a joke unfortunately! People in Hale deserve something better...not grizzley rump steak. The staff are fine ..very courteous and obliging and I would hope their a la carte will be perfectly acceptable and will try that next time. Thank you.

Great food, the mussels especially were amazing. however check your bill as they didn't give us the lunch price automatically so I had to get them to change it.

Friendly buzzing atmosphere with good food. Service was good and prices reasonable. Good place for a night out with friends. The fish and chips were delicious.

A perfect dining experience. The staff were superb - nothing seems to be too much trouble. A really first class restaurant and a welcome addition to Hale.

Great atmosphere and lovely food. Went for a meal with friends on a Friday night. Enjoyed the ambience. Only disappointment was that the restaurant does not have a bar area as this would have been a nice place to meet up.

Lovely new restaurant, friendly and attentive staff. Meals were reasonably priced and good quality. Very good selection of dishes and drinks. Will certainly return to this restaurant.

Fabulous interior, good menu and attentive staff , we enjoyed our meal here one evening and will certainly return. The 2/3 course menu is very good vale.

We went with our new born daughter for my 35th birthday, the food was excellent as were the staff and they helped make it a really special lunch out so thank you all at Cote Hale

Great value, good food, comfirtable surroundings. Friendly staff. Cant go wrong going to Cote Hale. House Red delicious. Restaurant full at 7pm on a Wednesdat night.

Staff were welcoming and friendly, drinks were ordered straight away, chose goats cheese salad with roasted veg, was delicious...a Wednesday evening and the place was full, felt a comfortable place. Value for money !

Excellent food, great service, nice atmosphere - French onion soup and calimari are very tasty starters, duck rillette and beef bourgignon were also excellent. Wine list is very French but long.

Great food and good value. Children loved the mussels and adults enjoyed the burger... shared a chocolate fondant... delicious. Not bad value for money too.

Average food with poor service. Our initial waiter was awful. He had absolutely no interest in what we were asking. Poured my wine into my water glass. Won't be returning any time soon.

Great food and service. Good menu choice, although starters, desserts and alcohol by the glass quite expensive. Didn't appreciate the "complimentary welcome drink" appearing on our bill, nor the 12.5% gratuity (albeit optional) appearing on the bill.....no one would spoil an "evening out" by asking for this to be removed; Cote should pay their staff a decent wage rather than asking their customers to subsidise it.

Good tasty food, better than neighbouring restaurant. The service is a bit rushed, but plenty of staff around so overall very good service. Enjoyed my evening, will definitely go there again.

Very good and enjoyable. The onion soup was superb. The mains excellent. The staff were helpful and pleasant. We would recommend cote will be eating here again

Staff were lovely and made the evening very enjoyable. Food was very slow in being served. We know it was busy. This was our third visit and will certainly be back!

Poor quality food. The food specification cannot be varied - I ordered a green salad with the express requirement that it would not include onion and yet I found it in the salad. The staff seem very inexperienced.

There was plenty of choice of menus. There was a la carte, February Specials, or Valentines 3 course meal. We had the Rib Eye Steak, and it was cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely be eating there again.

The food was lovely the restaurant and the surrounding was too,the service was outstanding I will definitely have no hesitation in going again and recommending the restaurant

Food quality was not as good as received in Manchester (x5) or Lincoln (x2). Service was good and table location excellent. Probably stick with Manchester in future.

A vast improvement on the indifferent service offered by Hale grill towards the end, good food, friendly staff and more ambient surroundings, well done Cote Brasserie, keep it up.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and good food. Cannot fault the staff although slight critique would be them not putting fresh cutlery out for main. Would highly rate the food

So far the best food in Hale, if you want real food that is the place. Amazing, really good service and the steak was perfect and good quality.

Lovely ambiance, friendly and helpful service, very tasty traditional and rustic French cuisine without fuss. Felt quite at home taking family with 2 young boys early evening. Good luck Côte, Hale...we'll be going again.

The Breton Fish Stew was excellent and great value for money. At last a decent sized and very good Creme Brûlée Service was also quick and extremely friendly.

Super food ,lovely staff ,great ambiance .Thoroughly enjoyed it ,met some nice people as well ,would definitely return and recommend to friends and family .Brilliant night.

Sea bream special was fantastic. Great to find a chain that knows how to cook fish well and offers something other than salmon or seabass!

Great service and lovely fresh food. Only negative was they had run out of the starter I wanted (and had been craving all day 😊)

Thoroughly enjoyed an evening at Cote with 2 friends. Good service, excellent choice on the menu and delicious food. We each chose different main courses and were impressed that all 3 were excellent. Will definitely be making a return visit.

An extensive menu choice, the food was fantastic. Level of service was excellent very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be going back again soon.

Food was ok but service was awful, really really rude waiter who from the start didn't like us and was really offhand. Usually generous tippers but didn't leave a penny. Was much better when it was hale bar and grill
