Côte Hale

Very enjoyable evening spent at this restaurant. The staff were efficient and friendly and all the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Very good value for money, particularly the lunch/early evening menu.

The decor was lovely & the staff were very professional & well trained, but the minute steak was tough & tasteless although the cost was reasonable.

Early evening set menu of three courses. All three courses were superb, staff helpful, friendly and professional. Lovely ambience, relaxed yet lively atmosphere. Our favourite restaurant in Hale.

we went for Sunday lunch and the staff were really friendly service was great and the food was Great. the swordfish was to die for

Party of 4 for dinner with mix of 2 and 3 courses. Food generally tasty, although expected dessert crepes to be warm! £35 per head including 1 bottle wine.

Very nice evening spent at Cote Hale Cheshire I was given a free bottle of wine which they charged us for even though the waiter knew it was Given to me! They did adjust it afterwards We will return Carol Harari

Early dinner menu was excellent. Quality of food very good. I chose the Mussels followed by French Cottage pie and vegetables. Both courses delicious. Glass of dry white wine recommended by the Waiter went nicely with my food. Great atmosphere. Would recommend.

Great ambiance and delicious food and the service was excellent. What more could one ask? Well worth a visit. I shall be going again quite soon.

Excellent service. All staff friendly and efficient. Excellent food, good and varied menu. Just missing a bar area to sit in whilst waiting for your table.

Very pleasant experience. Have often eaten at Cote, Saint Pauls and recently at Cote, Tooley Street. The branch in Hale is very much up to their standards.

Cote in Hale has great food and nice atmosphere. The staff we friendly and attentive. Good place to eat as a larger group or with children

Food was good. French Onion soup was everything (nice) that you would expect. Rib Eye off the specials was really well cooked and was bigger than expected. Spinach with it was wilted nicely and the smallish portion of fries was just right. The waiter from the Spanish exclave of Melilla was great. There are 3 distinct areas of this restaurant and the furthest from the door (where we were seated) is rather soulless - hence the reduced value review as the atmosphere in a restaurant is really important.

Super quick service. I'd notified the restaurant that we had two young children so we had a table with plenty of space and room for a buggy. Lovely food.

Very good pleasant service, great steak and accompaniments. Lively and friendly ambience. Attractive contemporary setting. Good choices on the menu. We will be returning again soon.

Good food and good service. Really enjoyed our evening and the free bottle of wine certainly helped. Only criticism is that the coffee is a little weedy.

My husband took me for my birthday, and the meal was fabulous and the staff very friendly and attentive. Even offered to move us to a bigger table when one became free. We will definitely be going back.

Fifth visit since Cote opened recently, that says something! Has become my favourite local place to take family and friends for a lunch or evening meal. Good menu and lovely service.

Myself and 3 friends had a superb lunch with excellent service. We all thought it was very good and we all said that we would be dining there again soon.

Good good , interesting composition s , service very good but I don't agree with non obligatory service charge . It puts you in an awkward position which is not you came out for .

Service excellent, staff attentive, polite, meal delicious reasonable price. I do not like service charge 12% being automatically added to bill, I think it should be up to the customer on whether they have had good service or not.

A little chaotic - no lime juice for our drinks after saying they had some, trying to give us second starters, average main course. They were apologetic and we didn't have to pay for the drinks.

Service very slow - waited at least half an hour for food order to be taken. Starters good. Main course not hot but had waited so long that I ate it!

Good atmosphere and very helpful and attentive staff throughout the evening. On this occasion we went off the set menu which was good value. We will go again and try the a la carte menu to be more adventurous.

Nice restaurant with relaxed atmosphere, which is particularly good value at lunchtime or early evening. Have visited several times but on this occasion service was slow and although they were well staffed it seemed disorganized.

Great addition to the Hale dining scene.Charming, attentive helpful staff. Food very good, great calamari,mussels delicious very nice chicken dishes, great selection and very inexpensive, well worth a visit.

We had the steak and frites with minted peas. The food was lovely, our waiter was an absolute character, so cheery and happy, made a huge difference!

Excellent evening at Cote Brasserie, Hale. Great, efficient service, food lovely. My steak was perfectly cooked and my husband was impressed with the delicious fish stew. I will be returning!

Delish food (crab to start, chicken grille main and the most gorgeous crème brulee for dessert!), great venue and lovely friendly staff. Will be back!

The food, service and ambience were excellent. Especially pleasing is the extensive gluten free menu, my wife being a celiac and the attendant knowledge of the staff. We will be back soon.

Good menu, attentive & friendly service at a reasonable price. Nice ambience but a little noisy when just wanting a quiet meal for two. We will return.

Attentive service, but restaurant was quite empty for a Saturday lunchtime. Fish pie had plenty of big prawns in it. Delicious lemon tart. Not a paper napkin in sight!

Welcoming restaurant, food delicious. French onion soup and warm beetroot starters. Steak frites and half Breton chicken and frites. Delicious. Deserts all sound delicious. A perfect evening. Good service.

The early bird special at £12.95 is very good value for money offering a variety of choice. Wine is reasonably priced and the service was excellent.
